History

Established in 2005.

Dr. Alison Han DMD, with her husband AC Sherpa, established Essence of Dentistry in Redmond in 2005. Dr. Han is a female dentist among few in Redmond. Redmond dentist Dr. Han brings many years of dental experience to the practice.

Redmond dentist Dr. Han brings many years of dental experience to the practice, including research at McGill and Harvard Universities and a residency at the University of Washington. She has had rotations throughout the Seattle area and practiced privately in Seattle prior to opening Essence of Dentistry. Committed to expanding her technical knowledge and staying at the top of her field, Dr. Han attends numerous post-​graduate courses and local study groups.

When she is not working, she spends her time outdoors – skiing, running and hiking. She also enjoys traveling and exposing herself to new cultures. But sharing time with her daughter is a very important part of her life. She is fluent in English, French, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and speaks some Spanish. She has provided continued support to many philanthropic organizations in the Seattle area, most notably, 7 Summits Foundation.
