I specialize in clinical nutrition, helping clients address nutritional concerns in Diabetes, Obesity, Gastrointestinal issues, Food Sensitivities, Leaky Gut Syndrome, Cardiovascular Disease, Cancer, Arthritis, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, and other Chronic or Age-Related conditions.
Based on information from the completed Client Information Form and personal consultation, the client is provided with a comprehensive written assessment of their current nutrition, areas of nutritional weakness, and recommendations on how to strengthen overall nutritional status. Drug-nutrient interactions and potential side effects of any medications are also discussed.

Established in 2005.
My interest in health and nutrition began in the early 1970s during pre-med studies at the University of Washington.
While I’ve been a practicing Certified Nutritionist since 2005, my knowledge and experience in nutrition spans more than 40 years.

I obtained a Master of Science degree in Nutrition Research from Bastyr University of Natural Medicine in Kenmore, WA, in 2004. I did my master’s thesis on «Nutrition in Fibromyalgia».
I have been a public speaker on health and nutrition since 2006 and have published papers and letters in several professional journals. My book, «Fibromyalgia: A Nutritional Approach to Prevention, Treatment and Cure», was published in 2008 and is available in digital form on Amazon.com.
My office is in Redmond, WA, and my website address is www.dietadvisor.com. I also do phone consultations for clients who live outside the Redmond area or have transportation problems. I am an in-network provider for Premera Blue Cross, Regence, First Choice, Group Health, United Healthcare, and Medicare. Other health plans may also cover nutritional counseling with a normal copay or coinsurance.
