Our company is unique in that we directly employ 20% of the trades and craftsmen that work together to create our custom homes. This allows us to control costs, quality and the schedule much better, and ensures that the quality of your finished home remains high, while reducing the overall cost of the project.

The key to our success is dependent on our field and office personnel, who pride themselves in knowing their craft and their responsibilities, and who are a critical element in providing client satisfaction.

History

Established in 1984.

The Lozier name and home building can be traced back as far as 1776, when the Lozier family first built a home to sell in Midland, N.J. The name of our company is Lochwood-​Lozier — that name was actually derived from a car called the Lozier Lakewood. The Lozier Lakewood got second place in the first Indianapolis 500.

My (Todd Lozier) great-​great-​Uncle, Eugene Drummond, was the site-​superintendent for Frank Lloyd Wright. Eugene’s son, William Drummond, went on to work for Frank Lloyd Wright as his lead draftsman.

More recently, the Lozier name goes back three generations to 1958 when the Family moved to the Northwest from Omaha, NE.

With his first job in construction at the age of 16 in 1984, building has always been in Todd’s blood. Eventually earning a degree from the School of Architecure at the UW in Building Construction. Todd possess the educational theory, hands on expereince and design experience to immerse himself in any aspect of buidling and remodeling. More than anything else it’s the honor, respect, honestly amd kindness that will shine through dealing with Todd and his team.
