With additional Seattle area offices in Bellevue and Kirkland, we represent clients from all of Washington State as well as those from other states.

Our attorneys have post-​doctorate degrees in tax law from the University of Washington and have represented hundreds of clients. We have practiced before the U.S. Tax Court, the Washington State Department of Revenue, Employment Security Department, and Department of Labor & Industries, and the Washington State Courts.

Established in 2011.

We strive to provide our clients with a hands-​on approach by working with each individual client to identify and solve their legal issue (s), while at the same time providing exceptional value to the client in terms of work product and cost. We personally meet with our clients to understand their concerns and to identify the issue (s). After consulting with the client, we then determine what the best course of action is and proceed with administering the case while maintaining regular communications with the client as to how their case is progressing.

Our fees are significantly lower than what you will find at larger firms for comparable work. Business Owner

Vijay Gosalia is a founding member of Ortiz & Gosalia, PLLC. He currently provides legal services in the areas of tax controversy, bankruptcy and estate planning. Prior to establishing Ortiz & Gosalia, PLLC, Mr. Gosalia provided legal services as a solo practitioner at Gosalia & Associates, LLC from 2009 through June 2011. Mr. Gosalia currently serves as an attorney at the Federal Tax Clinic at the University of Washington providing pro-​bono tax services to clients and has done so since 2008. In addition to being admitted to practice in the State of Washington, Mr. Gosalia is admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court and the Western District of Washington. From 2006 through 2009 Mr. Gosalia worked as a contract attorney providing legal support in complex litigation cases. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Gosalia worked at Zurich Investments providing financial services to clients.
