The people whom work at this vicinity are extremely hostile. I spend approximatley 100 per week at this place. The Heavy Asian Boy screws my order up like 85% of the time and when I confront him about he apologizes and does not ask to correct his mistake. I end up throwing money and drink away. No one ever smiles, or greets you. It’s a hostile environment, The people working here are always in the back so you will probably be waiting for a handful of minutes before you are attended. The smoothies have way too much ice and not enough ingredients. Should be more Ingredients– less ice. The only thing decent here are the pure raw juice.

driving down pch, we came across this smoothie joint for some refreshments! went inside, and it was just us two and the worker. *sound crickets* i ordered the PB smoothie and my friend ordered a mango pineapple smoothie i believe. something in that direction. both of our smoothies were liquified to the maxxxxx. pretty disappointing i basically drank thin peanutbutter. the flavor was there but the consistency was just bleh. pretty simple interior, magazines on each table, bright walls i really wouldn’t return. the guy working didn’t seem so thrilled either but i’m positive he was bored out of his mind.

I asked if their ingredients were organic, young lady worker admitted it was not without batting an eyelash. So there you go. I came here after my run and I was recommended to get the #42MISTERPOPEYE. This smoothie has all sorts of fruits that aren’t high in sugar and veggies that included beets essential for recovery. I liked it but I have had better and smoother smoothies. I always look for that creaminess and thickness so I compare this one with Jamba Juice or Robeks. Not so impressed. $ 7.50 for the medium size that looked like large. ;) Modern interior and clean place. Next to Rita’s and Whole Foods.

I have been coming to this place for years and never had a problem until recently. I ordered a different type of smoothie than my normal and it was extremely sweet. I went back and asked if they could exchange for something else and the woman behind the counter would not exchange my drink. I’m so disappointed because I have been a loyal customer here and would have liked either a refund or a different drink. She just gave me attitude and would not refund or exchange my drink. I’m so disappointed and will never go back here.

I was really disappointed with this place. I had passed it several times and wanted to try it out so I told my friend after a hard workout we should go there for there freshly squeezed juice. The menu is long so it took us a while to figure out what to get. I finally settled on a drink with watermelon and my friend got one with coconut juice and other fruits. I took one sip of mine and it was too sweet. I hadn’t noticed there was sherbet in mine so I asked them if that is why it was so sweet and the person replied that it was due to the fact that all the juices were concentrated and I had picked the«unhealthy juice». Then he proceeded to show me this small part of the menu that has fresh juice. My friend and I both stated that we didn’t know(we had seen them squeezing fresh juice and assumed ours had the same). I wished they had clarified on the menu what has freshly squeezed juice and I wish they would have at least offered to make us a different juice. The drinks are not cheap so it would have been nice. I live nearby and was hoping this would be my juice place but after this I will definitely not come back to this place again.

Apfel is located inside the shopping center anchored by Whole Foods in Redondo Beach. I stopped here before I strolled into the nail salon on Friday afternoon. I got a large green juice for $ 9.50. It was fresh with live ingredients. It completely satiated me for hours.

I ordered the red mango smoothie for $ 5 which tasted like mango, pineapples and strawberry. I was impressed by the large size and felt I wasn’t ripped off. I think I still enjoy jamba juice more but not a bad treat.

I love it here. The juice is fresh and you can watch them make the juice right in front of you. I love the veggie juices but the fruit smoothies are delicious as well

I wanted to love this place! The juice is decent but the acai bowls are amongst the worst I’ve ever had. There was no chopped fruit, the granola had an overpowering cinnamon flavor and the smoothie itself was so runny I couldn’t even eat it with a spoon. $ 15 later and I ended up throwing out both mine and my boyfriends before I even got home. Disappointing!!!

The outside is deceiving… This is like a high end jambs juice in the sense that it is family owned and cleaner. The menu is extremely chic likewise. The ingredients seem very fresh and«organic». Check it out, not the cheapest, but the new juice craze has demanded a rise of extremely eye gouging prices for blended fruits :)

Dropped by this place before heading to the beach so I could have something refreshing to drink. And this definitely hit the spot! I got the acai bowl and a fresh drink #36. It was so healthy and it was a great pick me up. The only thing is I wouldn’t come here too often since it’s on the more pricier side. But other than that, I would recommend it! :)

I am a frequent patron here and love it. The juices are fresh and delicious. I am an avid juicer and Apfel is much easier on my budget than some of their high priced competition. They provide excellent and clean service

This is my first time here and wow the smoothie was great the workers here were really friendly. I got number 29 which is a healthy smoothie made of kale acai strawberry banana and spinach. I was looking for something healthy but also something that tasted good. I’m not a big fan of kale but it was surprisingly good you can’t even taste the kale or spinach! I recommend everyone at least try #29 cause it will surprise you with how good it taste

One visit, unless amazing is not going to pull 5-stars from me. However, I have to say the following things about this place: — I got exactly what I wanted. — My juice was very, very good. — The service was friendly and she was willing to work with me a little since I was a noob. — It’s close to home and a very good«healthy» option. Now, that being said here’s my few«cons» though I’m hesitant to really call them negatives: — For a medium sized blended juice and protein it was $ 9 bucks. That’s about the cost of a quick lunch… that’s an expensive juice. — There’s lots and lots and lots of combos and options. Literally took me 20 minutes to figure out what to get. SO, I got a #39 green blended juice with spinach, kale, celery, lemon, ginger, cucumber, apple, and protein. I had her put a little ice in with spinning in the protein so it could have a little thicker consistency. The juice was good. Not too sharp, and devoid of added sugars which is what I am trying to avoid(being Blood Sugar Solution strict is super tough). I got some good afternoon energy from the healthy blend, and was pleased. Thank you Nikki S. for the suggestion and great review, you’re the Queen for a reason!!! ENJOY!

This place is wonderful… Staff is super friendly and prices are reasonable. I never tried their smoothies but I have tried several different juice combinations they offer and I love them. I usually order #35 Fresh 9 Orange, Carrot, beets, Ginger, Cucumber, Celery, Parsley, Spinach, Kale Or #36 Green Diet: Cucumber, Celery, Parsley, Spinach, Kale, Lemon, Ginger I order the medium size which cost me $ 6.75 Great meal replacement or detoxing after a weekend of drinking.

This is the best juice place I’ve been to! The staff is friendly and I really like how extensive their menu is. They have smoothies, fresh juices, and even boba =P The prices are very reasonable for their cup sizes too. The wait can be a little long but that’s because everything is made to order(at least the times I’ve been) and they actually cut the fruit and veggies specifically for your drink… talk about FRESH!

I honestly think this place is better than jamba juice. Their fruits are fresh and the guy that served my sister and i was so quick he made two drinks in less than 10 mins, and he was the only one there! I wish this place was closer FOREVERCOMINGBACKTHO!

I ordered the Acai Bow with Mister Popeye and it was a bad choice! The really really sweet acai bowl conflicted with the dominating taste of beet in Mister Popeye. I thought I would feel great after drinking some juice and acai, but instead I had a huge headache from all the sugar. Perhaps, I should try something else next time but this place would not be my first choice!
