My watch went out in the middle of the day– Searched on Unilocal for a place to get a new watch band in the area and Beach Cities Jewelers came up nearby.
I was helped immediately.
The owner was very nice and only charged me $ 12.00 to replace my Invicta battery. In and out in 10 minutes! Great experience!

Our Beach Cities Jeweler is that and much more. He understands women and what pleases them. He is primarily responsible for my achieving a successful, happy marriage of over ten years now.

I have bought several items from Gary and he has always been straight forward and honest with me. He does not sell me overpriced jewelry like some of the big name stores have. He also has upgraded my wife’s wedding ring with a beautiful diamond at a reasonable price.
I have recommended him to several knowing that he will treat them right without inflated prices. He also does excellent repairs and customer work. Thank you Gary!

Gary has always been professional, educating (did you know you can save your battery life by pulling out the winding stem?), and very fair priced.
I brought several of my girlfriend’s watches for repair, new batteries, and polishing. Gary fixed the watch she thought was unfixable and slightly damaged by a different shop. He found a perfect match for a tattered old watch band and he even buffed out the scratches on another watch.
This is my preferred watch repair shop in Southern California — just get there in advance of his closing time at 6PM so Gary can take his time to explain the magic he can do for you.

When we needed to get a ring resized, D suggested we check this place out to support small local businesses. I was a bit skeptical, since it really is a hole in the wall.
…but I’m happy to say that this place rocks!
The jeweler increased the size of D’s grandmother’s gold wedding band perfectly. He paid close attention to detail and preserved both the outer design and inner engraving. And when he told us the price, we were stunned that it was so cheap.
I would definitely go back for any gold jewelry needs — repair or better yet, treating myself to something new.
