Marcus was very professional and his painters were neat, polite and respectful. The job took a little over two weeks to paint outside of our house and this was with repairing a lot of rotted siding and overhangs. Pricing was the best I could find. Overall, the job was great and was better than I expected for such a competitive price.

We love our house again!!! Marcus and his team painted the exterior of our home in December 2015 and they did an awesome job. Extremely professional and easy to work with from start to finish. The job took a little over a week with some dry rot repair and detailed prep work and our house looks new again. We have received numerous compliments!!! Thanks Marcus and to your team!!!

I could not be happier with Marcus and his team at CertaPro Painters! I needed the entire exterior of my house painted. The team went above and beyond to make our home look amazing! Not only did they do an excellent job prepping and painting, they also fixed a bunch of old damaged wood on the home and refreshed an my picket fence perfectly. Marcus was very professional and was excelent to work with from beginning to end. I am very thankful for Marcus and his team!

I have a beautiful home now thanks to owner Marcus and his painting team. We did have a rough start due to some confusion with his office staff. The team, however, performed beautifully and the finished product (home exterior) is gorgeous. Even the neighbors were impressed with foreman Mike and his fellow painters. They were there everyday working hard all day and they were very patient, kind, detailed, and professional. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the problems with the office person. I believe that person is no longer at Certa Pro, however, so the next job will probably get 5 stars. Thanks Marcus, Mike, and painting team.

My wife and I repainted the entire interior of our house in MB with Marcus and his team. He was thorough and fair in his estimating. The job took a long time because they were so detailed and exact about the way that everything needed to be done. Our house feels brand new. Couldn’t be happier. Also — they came back to do some touch ups on a few things and seem to really care about their reputation. I’d recommend them for sure.

Marcus and his team were great from start to finish. His price was fair, his attention to detail was even better, and the timeliness and efficiency of his team was top notch. Special shout out to Mike and Juan and the rest of the crew, they worked hard non stop and always left the house clean and were great guys to boot. Recommend to all and the prices are great as well!

this was the second time I used CertaPro Professional Painters, & I was just us please if not more so than I was the first time I use them. Jonathan, Joel, and Orlando were fantastic they did an amazing job I’m very very pleased with their work and the end result. They painted the exterior of my home they did a flawless job it looks fantastic the crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, cleaned up after the job and left my house is shining like a new penny. I had Candice come out to give me an estimate to paint and do minor cabinet repair on one bedroom. The room is 60 years old and has several layers of paint on paint. A lot of sanding and prep work is going to be needed. The estimate cost was average with other estimates I received, but the time frame was shorter.
Candice said she’d have two painters come out for one day, where other estimates told me it was a two to three day job. I agreed to it. When the estimate came via e-​mail, I had to have her correct it because of the base boards, and she said she forget to add the second coat. The new estimate was $ 20 more expensive to add the second coat to the baseboards, even though I was providing all the paint, and it was her mistake because she knew the baseboards were brand new. I signed the contact anyway, but didn’t get a copy back. I had no confirmation they were coming out on the agreed-​to date. After several days I had to call her to find out what happened, and she said Marcus was supposed to send it to me. Eventually he did, and now we’re ready to go, they’re scheduled to come out on a Monday.
The Friday before they were to come out, I received a call from Candice that there was a scheduling error, and only one painter can come out on Monday, but he’ll come out for two days. I agreed. She also told me she would be coming out to the house to talk to the painter to tell him everything that needed to be done.
Monday morning arrives, and a painter comes, but there’s no Candice. The painter told me she wasn’t coming, and he said he had no idea what the plans were for this job. So now it’s up to me to explain the job. I start telling him the plans, and after about 15 minutes, another painter shows up. I was surprised but I guess better for me.
Well, like the other estimates indicated, the job took longer than Candice estimated. These two painters worked very hard all Monday, with hardly taking any breaks. At the end of the day, the job was not done. The next day one painter came back and he was here for an additional 8 hours. He worked so hard. After a few corrections on my part, the job was really, really good.
I’m only giving three stars because of such a lack of communication between having to ask to get the contract; told I’d have two painters, then told I have one painter with a second day, and then getting two painters in the end and still needing a second day; underestimating the job by 8 hours; having to explain to the painters what to do because they were never told; and never seeing Candice ever again.
Candice never came to explain the job to the painters and she never came to see how the job turned out. The quality control was left up to me, making me the «picky» home owner. But in the end, I’m very happy with how the room turned out, and the painters worked their butts off.
I would be hesitant about using them for a large project because of the lack of communication.

What a pleasant experience we had with Marcus Sucro and CertaPro of Palos Verdes! This gentleman is both professional and courteous (a rarity anymore it seems), & we could tell he was a man of high character. Initial cost estimate was very fair and his desire to do a 100% professional job was genuine.
Although he has an efficient staff, Marcus himself was on site much of the time to assure that we were satisfied with our interior paint job. Of course, he and his staff are MUCH more than painters – they removed old panelling, resurfaced walls and ceilings, replaced doors and magically converted the 1970s interior into a beautifully modern home!
We’ve been using subcontractors for over 40 years here on the hill, and Mr. Marcus is the best there is, in every conceivable way.

After getting estimates from probably 10 different paint companies for painting our house exterior, we chose to go with Marcus and his team, and couldn’t be happier with the results. Of all the people who came to do estimates, Marcus spent by far the most time giving our house a thorough evaluation and pointing out areas of concern that other companies missed (or would have brought up later on as things that would increase cost after already starting the project). In fact, during the entire time that Marcus was looking at our house, 2 other painters came and went, and Marcus was still diligently doing his evaluation.
To our surprise, even with the added time spent on the estimate and even with his inclusion of a few areas of termite-​eaten wood that would need replacing, his estimate came out to be almost half the cost of some of the other «high-​end» paint companies and comparable to or even slightly less than that of some of the sketchier (probably unlicensed/​uninsured) individual contractors that we got quotes from. It was a no-​brainer for us to choose CertaPro to do our paint job!
The painters did an excellent job and cleaned up well each day. When unexpected rain interrupted their work for a few days, they even came in on the weekend and finished the job. Throughout the whole process, Marcus was extremely responsive on his cell phone and whenever very minor problems came up (as they inevitably will on any house job, as I’m quickly learning), Marcus addressed then immediately. Our job finished on time and as quoted, and we would absolutely use them again!

Marcus and his team were professional, reliable and a pleasure to work with on painting the exterior of our house and doing a number of associated repairs. I’m repainting a much larger property soon and look forward to working with them again.

Marcus Sucro, owner of CertaPro Painters of PV, was highly recommended to me by a friend for whom he did the exterior of her home. I was looking for the interior of my 4 bedroom, 2 ½bath home to be completed. Marcus spent a lot of time with me initially explaining various options. One of the main problems was that all the woodwork had been done in oil paint back 12 years ago when the house was built and it was yellowing? Marcus explained that if it was done in latex that it would not yellow. The problem was that they would have to sand and degloss it all before painting. Even with this extra work, Marcus gave me a very competitive bid, outlining all that they were going to do for me. I was very impressed with his thoroughness as it left no questions as to what was to be done.
Rodney was the foreman of the job, and I can’t say enough about his professionalism, friendliness and work ethic. I will ask for him anytime I have more work done as he was a pleasure to work with. His helper Wilber was also friendly and extremely hardworking. The team worked hard to get my job done on a timely basis and were extremely neat. I love the job they did and would highly recommend Marcus and his crew to anyone who is looking for a highly professional team to fulfill your painting needs.

Marcus and his crew recently painted the interior of my 2 bed, 2 ½ bath townhome. Marcus was very helpful and professional beforehand, coming over to discuss different options and his recommendations, as well as offering one of the best estimates I had received (and I had gotten 8!). He promised to stick to the estimate even if he had to put in more time than he anticipated. We arranged for him to paint while I was away for a weekend. I felt perfectly comfortable leaving him a key for him and his crew to get inside while I was gone. When I returned 3 days later, the job was completely done to perfection, and there the only way I could tell they had even been there was the amazing paint job they left for me. There wasn’t a drop spilled anywhere nor any trash for me to clean up. Fantastic work! I would recommend Marcus and his crew to anyone who asked.
