Chasing Tail

I wrote my first review of Chasing tail in 2012. Now 3 years later Lloyd is still a huge part of our lives. We travel a great deal and Lloyd has been 100% dependable and reliable. Lloyd gives us total peace of mind. Every time Lloyd comes to the door our dogs think it’s Christmas. Lloyd is the best. I would highly recommend him for anything to do with your dogs.

I met Lloyd when we first got our dog Crosby from a rescue and she needed training and frankly, so did we. Lloyd starting walking our dog on a regular basis and has spent a few of our vacations doing in depth training time. Our dog is obediant, now plays well with others, and absolutely lives for her walks with Lloyd. We have since moved to a house with a backyard and have opted to keep the walks so that Crobsy can get social interaction and extra excercise and guidance from Lloyd. Lloyd also gives us tips on what we should be doing to help Crobsy grow. I can’t recommend him strongly enough!

I used chasing tails a number of years ago and loved him at first but Lloyd’s business sense is horrible. I was using him to walk my dog in Gardena and it was out of his way. He called me up one day and said he could no longer walk my dog and that he was quitting that day. Hmmm I work and needed my dog to be let out while I was at work. I was panicked. What kind of human being does that.
He has done this to another client also but that one he hasn’t called her just doesn’t return calls nor did he show up.
You just need to know that when he’s done with you he does not give you ample time to find a new walker he’s just done. To me that is not a person that I want with my dogs.

Three years ago I adopted a Jack Russell Terrier (just the breed itself is a deterent) who was running loose in front of my house. She was unsocialized, unmanageable and high energy. Three trainers later and not much improvement the last straw for my husband was when the dog bit the next door neighbor on the leg. My husband was ready to take her to the pound as he felt she was now dangerous. Move ahead seven days later Sam is a new dog after spending 7 days in Lloyds boot camp. She stayed with him and his pack (until this time she hated other dogs and was very agressive towards them.) When she returned it was as if it was a different dog. Lloyd has given me some tools to deal with her when she tries to act out that work like a charm. This is an unbelievable turnaround and it was all Lloyd. She now has a place in our home. Lloyd is a very competent, professional dog trainer who not only rehabilitates the dogs but he helps the owners become efficient leaders. Highly Recommend

Lloyd has made a world of difference in just the few sessions we have had so far. (I say so far because I am for sure still going to use him for my pup!) His knowledge and «way» with the dogs is amazing. He is very personable and finds a way to relate to your and your relationship with your dog. My dog was never able to be socialized as a puppy (he is now 3) and he is already doing well with other dogs. I have worked with lots of trainers in the past and have never had these results and positive outcomes as I have had with Lloyd. My family has also used him for a long time for pet sitting and walking services and would never even look back at using a kennel or boarding facility again. I would recommend Lloyd and Chasing Tail to anyone!
