I’ve been asking my husband for a real Christmas tree for 7 years. He took me to Jeff and Debbie’s since its closest to us. I didn’t think there was a huge selection but we found a 5.5 foot tree which was perfect for our apartment. It was $ 55 which is more than I expected/​wanted to spend, but we purchased it. Although I was sad about the price I can say that it’s been almost an entire month (we came right after Thanksgiving) and our tree has held up beautifully. There hasn’t been a single shed of one pine needle and it looks as great as when we purchased. My co-​workers were talking about their trees they purchased from other places and how they’re dying a few weeks after having them. So now I am feeling better about supporting a local business and getting a good product. Thanks Jeff and Debbie Merry Christmas

I am over the moon about our tree. In the over 25 years I have been purchasing Christmas trees, I have never let someone else pick out my tree. This year we were out of town and I entrusted Debbie to pick out our tree. It was delivered last night and it is perfect. She listened so carefully to our height needs and the need for a super narrow tree. It was less expensive than some of the other tree lots and the quality is superb. The delivery was smooth, on time, and the gentleman was so careful with our white carpet and had cut a fresh cut on the base. He made sure it was straight and out it in our tree stand for us. I can’t say enough about the service we received and how much I LOVE the tree!!!

Overpriced trees, poor selection, really rude people. We tried to buy a tree here, wanting to support a local business, but we were mostly ignored, and then made to feel like ridiculous burdens… all we wanted to know was how much the trees cost because they don’t post the prices. The lady asked if we had questions while she was already helping someone else, then cut us off and went to help someone else, came back, we asked for prices, she rattled them off per foot for specific varieties and quickly turned back to the person she was helping before. I don’t know what varieties are what! Maybe that’s my bad, but she was talking to us like idiots. And when we asked for a tape measure, she said «you can use the pole». What pole? Where? Oh, the one hidden behind the tent tie down that we should obviously know is there without any guidance. Gotcha. We realized they must not want our business, so we left.
For a FAR better all-​around experience (price, selection, and service) go a mile or so north to Peter’s Garden Supply on PCH and Anita. We spent $ 70 for a tree that would’ve been over $ 100 at Debbie & Jeffs. And the people were SO nice.

THE best tree lot and a real institution in the South Bay. Beautiful and fresh trees year after year. Debbie and her son Trevor have never let us down from selection to delivery and are fun and know what they are doing. Trees are reasonably priced for the quality.

No matter what size tree you’re looking for, this is the place to go! Disagree with the 1 star review given on Nov 30, 2015. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and the prices are fantastic! This is the second year we’ve purchased a large (13−14ft) tree, as well as a table top tree from Debbie & Jeff’s. In prior years, we purchased from Deep Root. The price was almost double and it took over an house for delivery guys to get it into the house. Debbie & Jeff’s delivery team got it in and up in no time! They were also very professional, friendly and made sure it was positioned exactly how we wanted it.

So, it’s my baby’s first Halloween and we wanted pictures at the pumpkin patch and to have him pick out some pumpkins. I got him all dressed up and ready early so we could have some fun before his morning nap. I get to the patch, 10 minutes after 9a, when it’s supposed to be open. And it was all gated up! The animals and pumpkins were all there, but no access! I called the number they posted on their website. No answer. I drove around the block and called 2 more times. No answer. I waited outside until 9:30 and left. When you have to bring kids/​babies, it is NOT cool to not be open the day before Halloween, when you say you will be! Boo :(

Love this pumpkin patch — we get our pumpkins there every year! My daughter loves to pet the pigs, chickens and goats, and it’s always a nice setting for pictures. Debbie loves all the kids who visit her and she is so friendly and welcoming.

Day’s after New Years our tree is still up has never been watered and virtually no needles have fallen on the floor. It’s literally not drooping what-​so-​ever. We were skeptical when Debbie told us the Scotch Pines was waterless but she was right. The trunk was too big for our stand and we kept saying we would get a new one and never did… it hasn’t been watered in 3.5 weeks. We don’t want to take her down yet! Best part of the whole deal, it was only 55.00 and stands 7 ft tall. We saw other lots for over 100 up to 200 which is ridiculous. We love Debbie and Jeff’s and will continue be regular customers.

Bought our tree from a lot near our house in Redondo last year for about $ 60. This year, that lot was replaced by Debbie & Jeffs.
I got one of the smallest trees they had (plus a stand) and it cost me $ 122!!! It’s smaller than the $ 60 tree I got last year… and the same size as the one my parents got for $ 40 at Home Depot a few weeks ago.
I won’t make the same mistake of buying from this «mom and pop» lot again next year!
Also, the employee who helped us was not very friendly. Tis the season, Scrooge!

Debbie & Jeffs (sic) Christmas Trees has been a Hermosa tradition for over 30 years. Our family has gotten many of our trees from Debbie and Jeff. There’s nothing like the smell of a real Christmas Tree to get me in the mood of Christmas. The Christmas Tree lot is located on the Northwest corner of PCH and 21^st street. Debbie and Jeff setup their business as Debbie and Jeffs Pumpkin Patch in October and then start up the Christmas Tree lot at the end of November.
I love shopping for Christmas Trees on a chilly December evening with my family. It’s cold enough to see your own breath, but you feel warm and cozy with a hot cocoa and the closeness of being with someone you love. You feel that warm glow of excitement of knowing that you’ll find that perfect tree. You walk down aisles and aisles of wonderful smelling trees trying to find the tree that will reveal itself to you. You see the huge majestic Noble Firs, the bushy scratchy Douglas Firs and the loveable «Charlie Brown» Silver Tips. Finally, you see the «one», just the right height, just the right girth, just the right fullness. You’ve found your tree!
The Christmas Tree (Yule Tree) started as a beautiful German custom, an expression of German culture. Debbie & Jeff’s sell the complete tree buying experience. If you are just looking for a cheap tree, go to Home Depot. Debbie & Jeffs have a fair sized lot and their trees are fully displayed, not simple bundles, all tied up with string. They have all sizes of trees from gigantic 20 footers to little 2 foot Christmas bushes. They expertly trim the trees and will install a metal stand if you wish. They also offer a flocking service for $ 4.00 per foot. They offer several varietals of trees. The Douglas Firs and Silver Tips are priced at $ 10.00 per foot and the Noble Firs are $ 14.00 per foot. They also offer delivery for $ 25.00 (tip not included). They will have a couple of strong teenagers bring the tree to your house and set it up any way that you want. The service is very personalized and they will help you get just the right tree for any house.
