In 2000 Dr. Umar established the FineTouch Dermatology, Acne Keloidalis Nuchae and DermHair Clinics located in Redondo Beach, California. Through these state of the art facilities, soon to be known as the Dr. U Hair And Skin Clinic, Dr. Umar has been providing the latest and most advanced hair restoration and skincare treatments with the highest level of patient care. To further the quality of treatment and results Dr. Umar is redefining the standards in hair restoration through the invention of his own devices known as UGraft Systems. His next project is launching a system of all natural hair growth products. These divisions and any future ventures from Dr. Umar form the medical and personal health brand, Dr. U.

Business Owner

Dr. Sanusi Umar is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. He went into the field of dermatology as a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is additionally a fellowship trained Cosmetic Surgeon having completed an American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) accredited program. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Umar is a faculty member of the Harbor-​UCLA Dermatology Department where he engages in cutting edge research and in the teaching of residents and medical students in Dermatology and dermatologic Cosmetic Surgery.
