The views at King Harbor Brewing Company’s tasting room are superb. You can people watch the passersby’s on the pier and see the ocean at the same time. The brews aren’t bad either, although in a world of craft beer weren’t anything super special. I wish the service was a little better. Our first server just wasn’t personable. Our second server didn’t handle conflict well. It’s a bar. I’m sure they deal with intoxicated people all the time. They should know better than to holler out the bar at people, especially if they had already left and hadn’t caused any sort of scene. Don’t worry, we won’t be back.

Simple spot to chill and enjoy local beers. The bartender was super nice. Great view and breeze. Loved the wine barrel table! Location is perfect to watch people and the marina-International Boardwalk. They have some apparels for sale too.

what an awesome location! we’ve been to the brewery when they first opened but we’re impressed by the new tasting room they just opened here on the pier. its a great location with beautiful view and awesome place to people watch. its small but the open air space is really refreshing. on the day we came by, there were two ladies working and they were both very friendly and helpful when asked about the different beers available on tap. the tasting is priced depending on the beer but average $ 2 – 3. my beau ordered 2 tasting flights to sample just about everything on tap that day. he really enjoyed all the tastings. packaged snacks are available for purchase or bring your own snacks if you plan on staying awhile. otherwise, you can always head over to any of the restaurants nearby. check it out! you wont regret it.

I’ve been to the Main location and I’m glad they opened this little gem in the Harbor. Beers are all pretty good and the location is a bonus.

So glad this place opened, friendly bartender. Open space, not crowded, ocean breeze, view of docked boats. Had the tasters and I have to say my favorite is the nitro and the swirl.

I was glad to try a local beer at the new place. The bartender/owner? was very friendly and provided good service. The bar itself was very basic. No music or sports. Open air setting which smelled like low tide. Well, the beer was good.

I’m impressed with the soft opening. The service was great and the location is perfect. I love both their locations. The Swirly is my favorite, but all of their selections are good. Try the Hef with the sparkling lemonade. You won’t be sorry.

My coworker and I came here the other night to celebrate his birthday. We decided to come to this location since it is open later(until 10pm) than the South Bay Galleria location. Lucky us because this place only opened about three weeks ago! The tasting room is not very big and can easily get crowded during the later hours when more people come by for a casual drink. There were only 2 people working at the time so service can be a bit slow. This was our first time coming here, so we decided to go with a bunch of tasters. We sampled the Belgian Hef, IPA, The Quest, South Central(Pale Ale), Stronger IPA, and Nitro Abel Brown(Coffee Brown Ale). While we were tasting our first flight, one of the bartenders came by and asked if we wanted to sample the stronger IPA. Of course we’re not going to turn down the opportunity to try more! Pricing is decent. We paid about $ 17(without tip) for six tastings. We really had seven but she didn’t charge us for the stronger IPA tasting. Awesome! I know I will be returning again in the future!

I’ve been to their brewery(also in Redondo Beach) a few months back and enjoyed the experience. So when I heard that they opened a tasting room right at the pier, I knew that I had to visit. Great small place. Not noisy as all, like that one bar at the end of the boardwalk… you know which one. You’ll be able to enjoy their beers while you people watch and take in the harbor view. Like their taproom, you can also order tasting flights. I opted for the nitro Swirly. A brown ale, not too bitter with a hint of cocao. Having it nitro style made it real smooth as well. Also, like most breweries, there won’t be food on the menu. Mostly packaged snacks(pretzels, nuts, or beef jerkys). Make sure you eat before coming, or bring food with you. With the people and beer being great, this will definitely be my go to spot when visiting the pier.
