I purchased a sofa and love seat at Living Spaces in Torrance, Ca back in late 2012. They were sold as leather units and c/s still say they are leather. Well the sofa is peeling and the love seat is showing signs that it might do the same. I called customer service they told me to upload my pictures and that a manager would call me back within 24 – 48 hrs. 5 days later no call so I called back again. Spoke to another person and they said someone would call me back in 24−48hrs. 4 days later I get a voicemail with an apology and that they could not do anything because the leather sofa was out of warranty. Leather does not peel. This is not a leather sofa. They sold me junk and won’t stand behind the product. I’m thinking they know it’s trouble and that’s why they only had the 1 year warranty on the material. Now the holidays are coming around and I have a sofa that looks hideous. Not in a situation to be able to buy another sofa. All I get is an apology. Not even a lets see what we can work out with the manufacture. I don’t think I will be buying anything else from Living spaces. This is not the 1st incident I’ve had with furniture from them. A leather sofa should last longer then 3 years. I won’t be shopping there anytime soon! Very unhappy!
