Business Owner

My parents moved to California from New York and when I was born they lived in Torrance. They later purchased a home in Rancho Palos Verdes, which is where I grew up attending the public school system there. I also attended the Southern California Regional Occupational Center (SCROC) in the early 80’s where I learned how to program computers. Before I had graduated high school I was hired on salary as an assembler language programmer. Interestingly, because I had been working for over a year while in high school, I was able to save money and upon graduating I purchased a house in Long Beach where I moved. A few years went by, but I eventually was persuaded to change jobs to write a property management program. Since I knew nothing about management at that time I had to first watch how the organization worked and after a few weeks I understood what needed to be done so I wrote the program, which was probably one of the first of its kind — That’s where it all started…
