Horrible experience with them today. They refused the wrap my furniture they complain and walked away and today was my last day to move out !!! I never seen anything before entire my life. Unprofessional, bad attitude and despicable company and supervisor !!! If you really move out the same day either don’t hire them or let them to be your boss!!! other wise you screwed They don’t even deserved my 1 star bu no other option UNLIKE!!!

We’ve now used Redondo Van & Storage three times, and they are fantastic. Our last move was an in-​home move, helping with a room swap and heavy lifting. They even set up our baby’s crib (and saved us a couple of hours doing so :). The team was on time, incredibly polite and super efficient. I’ve moved upwards of 10 times in the past 10 years, and have used various moving companies in Dallas and Los Angeles areas. Redondo Van & Storage is by far the best we’ve ever had. Thanks guys!

I needed help with an in-​house move in preparation for a flooring project. The two man crew from Redondo Van & Storage did a great job. Very careful moving furniture and boxes. And they managed to fit everything we needed moved into half of our garage. I still am amazed. They were prompt, courteous, careful & efficient. I will definitely use them next time.

RVS packed my stuff and helped me move a small three bedroom home. I just want to warn others that I lost more than $ 1000.00 worth of prescription and designer sun glasses. I reported it to the office. They said that they were going to look into this and send me a claim form. I never heard back from them nor received any claim form. I paid a lot of money to have them move my family. This is not what I was expecting. If you have any valuables please pack them yourself. This was my mistake. They did a good job at getting my stuff to my home and getting my house moved. The movers appeared to be nice and friendly. I even gave them very good tip and provided them with some furniture and clothing that I no longer wanted.
One more thing, the guy that I spoke to regarding the claim, asked me if I gave a tip to the guys who packed my things. I said, «No I gave it to the ones who moved all of the stuff». I did not know but the guys that pack your items maybe different from the ones who move your items. Maybe that would have made a difference to tip the guys that pack the items too.
I definitely learned something here.

I packed ahead of the move date and had to leave before the movers arrived (long distance move from Manhattan Beach to Reno) so I was a little nervous that not everything would make it onto the truck. One of the workers called me upon arrival and walked through each room to make sure he was taking everything we wanted. Could not have been more nice or professional! Everything arrived before expected and the workers were fabulous! All of our items arrived in good condition and the workers put back together tables, etc. that had to be taken apart to fit in the truck. Also, Greg Halverson, the owner, was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Very happy with Redondo Van & Storage and we highly recommend their services. Thanks to them for helping make this move go smoothly!

Used these guys in February to move locally. We did our own packing and they did all the heavy lifting and trucking. Best $ 840 I ever spent! They were DONE unloading us at the new house before 1pm! That SO beats renting a truck and bribing a bunch of friends to help out. They were really careful with our belongings and were great about putting everything into the right rooms at the new house. Plus, the three guys who moved us were just really, really nice. My only two complaints: just calling them and getting them to return my calls was difficult. I had gotten a quote about 6 weeks prior to the actual move date but subsequently when I called to schedule the move it took three calls to finally get some help. Then on moving day they showed up about a half hour EARLY. I wasn’t ready for them and could have used that extra 30 minutes! I will also say they moved for two of our friends, who were very happy with the service as well, that is actually why we went with them in the first place.

We used these guys last weekend to move my Mother and they were terrific! They arrived early and were very accommodating to what was a fairly complicated move. We had two locations from which to pick stuff up and three locations where the items were delivered. They handled this without a hitch. They were also very pleasant and professional and worked quickly and skillfully the entire day. Very highly recommended!

We recently moved in a new home in PVE after a 2-​year renovation job. We used these guys to move us out of the old home, storage for our 6 bedrooms worth of stuff, and moved us into our new home this weekend.
I cant say enough great things about this company, especially the team of people who helped us move into the new home this weekend. They were hard-​working, thoughtful of our needs, and they did a damn good job at keeping all of our stuff in safe condition the entire time.
Words cant describe how much I was worried about our stuff, and they gave me such great peace of mind… priceless.
I would highly recommend this company. You will pay a little more i’m sure, but its well worth it in my opinion.

I’ve used Redondo Van & Storage for my last three moves and can’t recommend them highly enough. Company management and the moving day teams are totally professional and committed to making the moving process happen quickly & without issue. You can trust them with your 70″ flat screen, your precious white leather furniture, or anything else you’re worried might get damaged– these guys take great care and will even expertly disassemble & reassemble items if that’s what it takes to get them in/​out of your place without damage. I hope I don’t have to move again for a long time but when I eventually do, I’ll be calling Redondo Van & Storage.

I love Redondo Van and Storage! They are the best movers in town. I’m a teacher and I was treated with respect and dignity from the owner. He gave me a great price every single time. I won’t use any other company! I have used them 3 times; this company moved my parents and now my coworker friend. All of whom have received excellent prices and couldn’t say anything more positive about their moving experiences.
They are so hard working, kind, and efficient. I have never experienced this type of professionalism in this field. They’ve been around since 1919 for G-d’s sake. Obviously that speaks volumes about this company. When I read other poor reviews written by other individuals below, I couldn’t believe it and I can only imagine that their only motive was to incriminate innocent people who are just doing their job. Moving boxes and doing hours upon hours of intensive manual labor. Who could write something so horrible like «the sopranos of movers»? Honestly this is completely false. I have had only great experiences.
I would recommend Redondo Van and Storage to all of your perspective soon-​to-​be moving people out there. They are the best!

They moved me twice. The second time sending professionals to pack everything. They moved items that I was convinced would be damaged due to their sheer size and weight and they arrived without a scratch. They did waste any time and the moves were totally uneventful. I highly recommend this business and will use them again if I move.

I’ve intended on posting a review since our move with Redondo Van & Storage was completed on 2 October because as someone who has had very bad movers twice, I know how important it is to find a good moving company. I highly recommend this firm.
From the initial bidding process with Gerry (very helpful!) through the four men who did the actual move, everything went smoothly and as promised. Due to a lender changing closing dates a few times, I had to change my move date several times, and every time, the people at the office were understanding and kind, allowing me to reserve a tentative date and then reschedule.
The movers were conscientious and took every precaution with our belongings and our home. Things such as wrapping the banister to protect the wood, taking off an interior door to be safe an over sized item wouldn’t hit the frame, and so on. We moved locally, so everything was put on the truck and taken off the truck the same day. They even packed about five boxes of breakable crystal and china (and did a great job!). The movers kept working fast the entire time. In addition, they were personable and happy! I wish I could recall each man’s name, as the individuals make the difference.
I’m an Army kid and moved every year or more as a child, then moved every year or more for my career for 20 years, and believe me, this is as good as it gets!

These guys have moved us 5 times in the past 6 years… They are AWESOME!
We have several delicate pieces of furniture including a late 1800’s china cabinet passed down through generations in my family with beveled glass. Everything has come out of each move with no problem.
Our entire family uses Redondo van and storage, and we all continue to recommend them to everyone we know.

We had a 4000 sq foot house and we moved on the hottest days for the year! These guys were awesome! Always a very positive attitude and worked their butts off the whole time. This was a big job and not under easy circumstances. I couldn’t recommmend this company any higher. If I ever move (which I hope I don’t) I would use this company again.
Management, scheduling and the guys that do the hard labor make this difficult process actually comfortable.

Just reading the review from Miss A brought back a lot of bad memories for me and my personal experience with Redondo Van & Storage. «GANSTER», «threatened», overcharged… I had the identical experience AND THIS WAS IN 1996 – 97! (there was no Unilocal then!)
They entered my apartment, told me everything I had was crap and would fall apart when moving it, (Seriously?), threatened to leave, called the office and said they weren’t moving me… and that I didn’t tell them about «the stairs»…(all 4 steps to the street) and on and on and on. I was so entrapped by these idiots I did not know what to do!
After a move which took all day, was slow and tedious, traveling a distance of less then 3 miles, they finally, finally finished and suddenly were overly polite. They wanted a tip! I was afraid not to give them something because they knew where I lived!
I started to call and complain on several occasions but once again was afraid of retaliation! As I said, they knew where I lived!
I see many reviews seem to think their experience was great., and then others. similar to my experience of being trapped in a bad horror movie! It’s still on mind after 16 years! Obviously not a lot has changed at the Ye olde Redondo Van and Storage.
I was dealing with the Tony Sopranos of the moving world.
