This is the absolute best place to get your eyebrows threaded! I came in with eyebrows that needed fixing and both girls fixed them right up!

Amazing! As others have said — this is 5 star treatment and VERY affordable. As soon as you walk into this serene little salon you are whisked away to another world. The amazing smell and music surrounds you and suddenly you are in a relaxed and peaceful and super clean environment. Subha Supra Supa Supah (spelling?) did an amazing job on eyebrow threading/​shaping and eyebrow stain. She is so sweet and friendly and efficient, love her! Love the eyebrow stain! It fills in all of the blotchy spots on my brow and looks so natural not like the severe tattooing that others do. I was in and out of there in around 30 – 40 minutes! So beautiful! Wow, I will be back in 3 weeks. They were able to squeeze me in on a Saturday too! The refreshing rose water feels so amazing as the after-​treatment provided. Big plus — Supra smells like roses and so does her breath! Love this place — love love! They are open every day except Tuesday. Bring quarters to feed the meter $ 1.50 an hour.

I’ve been to numerous eyebrow threading places all the way from East to West LA. And even though I’ve given a couple of other places 4 or 5 stars, Riviera is by far the best – so like, a 5+ or an A+.
It’s an inconspicuously small space – front unit in a one-​level blue building, a couple of buildings down from the Trader Joe’s plaza. Metered street parking aplenty right outside as well as across the street (metered lot). Appointments are required.
Right when you walk inside, you feel this calm, with mellow instrumental music filling the room (both times I’ve gone, the «Frozen» song happened to be playing); there’s a handful of seemingly handmade trinket items for sale in the entrance area, as well as a couple of chairs and a small but nice and professional-​looking reception desk. In the next room over are three very comfortable chairs, each station with its own vanity stand/​mirror. Everything is extremely clean and organized, with blue spray bottles of rose water, silver steel bottles for regular water, a lidded container for cotton balls…
Both times, Subha did my threading. The first time I visited was with a Groupon months ago, which she easily accepted. In about 25 minutes, I got the best threading experience yet. I want to say that she uses some mysterious, magical thread that just almost doesn’t hurt at all, but I’m sure it also has something to do with her actual skills and patience. Even while the phone is ringing, she continues to thread diligently and patiently, so I don’t have to worry about her being distracted and accidentally removing half an eyebrow.
Usually, my lip area is particularly sensitive to pain, but again, with Subha, I feel practically no pain – compared to how I feel at other places, that is. Nine times out of 10, I wince and tear up with just the anticipation of threading the upper lip, but this is the one time that I shed maybe only one or two small tears and get over it. Another thing I absolutely love is that she always takes time and care to make sure that she did a good job. She has you check, and even if you say it’s all good, she double and triple checks for perfection, which nobody else I’ve gone to for eyebrow threading has ever done.
At the end, she spritzes cold water onto a cotton ball and dabs your just-​threaded areas to close your pores, and then refreshes your skin with rose water. It’s really such a great experience.

I recommend this place without a doubt.

ive gone a few times now to Riviera Eyebrows and i can honestly say im a fan they take the time to really look and shape your brows to the way they should be ive had 2 different girls do my brows and i would go to either of them at any time. i will def keep coming back.

This girl saved me when I overplucked and did a great tinting job. Now she’s helping me shape my brows as they grow back in (and yes, «growing your eyebrows out» is a thing now).
She obviously really knows what she’s doing and is friendly and helpful. Cute little storefront with relaxing music playing. Great prices too!

This place is awesome. My first time ever using the threading technique. It was super clean and the staff are very professional and friendly. It’s a great price and it’s close to the beach and lots of fun shops and restaurants. I’ll be back!!!

Tried Supa the last time I visited, she is equally as good and so so gentle. She does Astha’s brows which looks amazing so you’re in good hands with Supa.

On very short notice (2x), Ahsta provided me with superb, expert, gracious, kind & patient service… and rose water! Albeit parking challenged, it’s quite a quaint lil’ spot. I love these ladies!

Riviera Eyebrows is the 5^th eyebrow place I’ve been to in the South Bay. After moving to the area a year ago I’ve been on the hunt ever since, that met the standards of my place I used to go to in the OC. I’m happy to say I’ve finally found a place!
Astha is one of the best eyebrow specialists I’ve been to. She’s very precise & took her time to get my brows even again. They were pretty bad and now they look awesome. And the rose water they put on after is amazing.
It’s recommended that you make an appt. I was in and out pretty quickly. I was also able to make an appt. 2 weeks in advance. The location is in a cute shopping center with plenty of parking.

I read all the reviews here so decided to go try. I had gone to another place without reading reviews and they desecrated my brows. Astha (spelling?) is amazing. She consulted with me on how I like my brows. After she was done she gave me a specific plan of action to get my brows back to awesome. So so happy with this place. I’m never going anywhere else.

I walked in yesterday and was lucky they can accommodate me. Subha did my eyebrows, she did very well threading my brows and shaping it well. She gave me tips on how to let them grow (coz a lady in China waxed my eyebrows super thin), so that I will have strong looking brows that will be fit for the shape of my face. I also had my brows tinted to a darker shade.
I came out of the salon happier with my brows! I will definitely come back just before I go back to Asia to retouch the tint.
Oh and the rosewater helps soothe the skin after threading plus it smells so nice.

I was concerned that it would be hard to make an appointment, but I called the day of and it seemed like the afternoon was pretty available. The salon is small, but clean and nice looking, and everything seemed very professional and well-​organized. I asked about eyebrow tinting, and I got some good information… at Astha’s advice, I decided not to do it. She shaped my brows and gave me some good tips for maintenance. Overall a (figuratively) painless process.
It was kind of hard to find since it’s tucked away from the street a bit, but I’m seeing some photos here that make it a little more clear what I should have been looking for.

I am very happy with my experience at Riviera Eyebrows and More. I saw Riva. If I were doing my Unilocal diligence, I would have chosen Astha based on reviews. However, Riva did a fantastic job! She took her time to even out the terrible brow job that Goma (read my other eyebrow threading review) did. I will stick with her.
My brows look great! I am super happy and have found my new eyebrow place. Now that I am on Retin A to prevent wrinkles, no more waxing for me. Threading is great. Cost was $ 12.

I came in here to have my eyebrows shaped and threaded about a week ago, and they still look great. I had only gotten my eyebrows threaded once before, and I really liked it. I was so happy to find this place which is also really close to my house.
The salon is clean, and simple. I set an appointment with Astha, per the other Unilocal reviews, and there was no wait when I arrived. Score! Astha spoke to me about my eyebrows, and their shape. She really looked at my eyes and face to give me a great shape which I love. I was really happy because she listened to me. I am totally low maintenance and do not wear makeup… in other words, I am not using an eyebrow pencil to darken my eyebrows. She listened and left me with plenty of eyebrow, so I don’t look like a chola, and they are much cleaner than they were before.
I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes, and I will totally be back to have my eyebrows threaded again. I will admit, it was a little painful, but totally tolerable. I had to stop a few times during the process because I always get sneezy and teary eyed when I get my eyebrows done, or even when I pluck them myself. It’s embarrassing, but Astha assured me lots of people have this reaction. I did get a little scab under one of my eyebrows, but it fell off within a few days It was also not really visible because it was right under my eyebrows.
I will totally be back, and I recommend you come here if you are looking to have pretty eyebrows :)

They do such a good job here! The lady asked me how I wanted my eyebrows done. Surprisingly, a lot of the places I’ve gone to don’t ask — they just do it so it was nice to be asked for once how exactly I wanted my brows to look.
They also work very delicately here. The pain was very minimal compared to other places as well. This place is more expensive than most other places but I think the quality of work they do here definitely is worth the higher price.
