I LOVELOVELOVE this place. Although price range is out my league but I understand why — would be worth to pay for these delicious meat. Cheese puffs are so delicious — my sister took me there and I fell in love from the ocean view to the food and the music I highly recommend to take someone for anniversary or for fancy good time.

Salad, vegetables and fruits. Definitely will come back with more friends our waiter and waitress is very nice.

Got a Groupon deal for $ 75(2 people). Side bar was ok, I’ve seen better. The meats were well seasoned and flavorful(mash potatoes were too runny). I wish they would have more variety but it was okay. I was disappointed that the night show didn’t take place because it’s only on the weekends :(

The service is incredibly slow here. Everytime I come, I’m wasting half the time waiting for meat to arrive rather than eating meat. This is the place to come if you want to destroy anyone’s patience. Water never gets refilled. Asking for a specific cut of meat is the equivalent of not asking. So don’t bother. Salad bar: The salad bar is terrible. Only the cheese bread and sweet corn are worth going for. Octopus ceviche was awful. So were the pasta salad, potato salad, macaroni salad, salad fillings, potatoes, beef stroganoff, and black beans. As for the cuts of meat, the house special, leg of lamb, and garlic steak are my favorites. Tri tip and pork sausages are the next best cuts. Turkey wrapped bacon, raspberry pork, chicken drumsticks were just average. Garlic bread was ok. Tip: Get the Groupon. With this kind of service, I would never come back paying the full price. Greenfield in Long Beach is much better. Or if you are willing to drive, Agora in Irvine is even better.

Made reservation 4 hours in advance, asked to not have to wait and was assured we would have no problem in getting seated right away — Table for two at 8pm We arrived 5 mins early and it is now 8:45, we are still waiting, waiting, waiting, and waiting some more. WTF!!! Seriously. It is not busy. I walked back and saw three tables empty. The waiters took forever to bring any meats around, not worth the wait

I’m not impressed with the food and the service at all. Made reservation at 8pm on a Saturday. Showed up at 750pm and was told there would be 30 mins wait. I wasn’t sure if I heard the waiter right so I repeated I had reservation and she confirmed the wait was 30mins… so what the point of taking reservation then? And food, food is okay. The only meat that I think is good is the picanha. Some other meats are too dried and overcooked. I would suggest going to Fogo Dechao for way better service and food

Food is great, the people were nice(Astrid was our server), and the atmosphere/view/location is nice too. Way overpriced in my opinion. Yeah it’s all you can eat, but there’s only so much I can eat. It was great to try and experience the different foods though. My favorite from greatest to least(but I liked them all except for the bloody stuff): rosemary chicken(believe it or not… yummy), peppered steak, garlic steak, rosemary pork(i think?), bacon wrapped turkey, and… green olives from the salad bar.

We have been to the restaurant two times in the last 3 months. Each time we’ve been here, we have had the same server, SILVIA B. She was awesome. Her service and attention are unparalleled and even prompted us to speak to the Manager to commend her GREAT service. We will be coming back as the food is very good(that garlic bread tho) and the service is great. The ambient is very fun for all occasions. Just remember to have a light breakfast and lunch. We will be for sure asking to be seated in SILVIA’S section next time around!

Service: The hostess staff are amazing! We were seated promptly after arriving and very accommodating. Our waitress was very attentive but not overbearing… never had to ask for anything but the check. The guys carving the meat were not stingy with the cuts and circulated well. Food: I love Brazilian Steakhouses, saying no to a buffet of delicious steak is simply UnAmerican! They had a wide variety of meat from bacon wrapped turkey to pork sausage to sirloin. All the cuts were great… I enjoyed the garlic steak and sirloin the most. Ambiance: The décor could use updating there is one red wall opposite a black wall with a bamboo wood colored ceiling. Also a large speaker on the top shelf as if karaōke was about to break out. The bar area was less than desirable… looked as if it were an after thought when designing. The patio states it’s under construction but you can sit out there. The tables seem as if something picked up at a thrift store and not a high end establishment. I hope they put some money into the renovation because it would be a great place overlooking the harbor. If you can get a seat by the window it’s a romantic sunset scene. Location: Plenty of parking, but you have to pay so make sure you validate your ticket so you only pay $ 2. Tip: Get there early for a good seat, starts filling up around 6pm. We used a groupon deal and only paid tax and tip, well worth it. Overall I’d recommend coming here… food and service are on point and a sunset view can’t be beat.

The food was excellent all around excellent! Very true to the Brazilian style like other restaurants… I couldn’t find the rice and beans I was so stuffed! We did finish with our free dessert and I’m glad I got it the cheesecake was light enough to eat at the end of the huge feast and very creamy! The drinks were good as well everything had tons of flavor! The views were the best from this restaurant and we have eaten around the beach. Great at sunset! Do get a picture to remember! It was very nice for them to give us a picture right away! I didn’t have to go print it or anything! The customer service from the server was a little slacking she seemed a little run thin, and didn’t really communicate well at the dessert or ticket part we were waiting quite a while to leave. But she was very nice and did everything! The guys with meat were awesome & excellent got you the meat you wanted and large portions! For the amount of money you pay just to go in… The décor is a little sloppily done with the painting and the bathrooms were a little ghetto but I hear it’s getting torn down so no big deal. As well as the little kitchen designs in the buffet style area were more American and absolutely not Brazilian. Lol. But who cares the food is wonderful! I’m so glad I got to eat here before they closed we wanted to replicate all the meat at home it was just so pleasing to the taste buds!

Bought a groupon for this place a few times now. They have tons of meats that come out every few minutes. Today I went for a celebration with my boyfriend. It was a Sunday evening at 630. We made reservations. It was the perfect time to watch the sunset. Very romantic. The sides are self serve. There are tons but I just wish the items were labeled better. I didn’t know what was what. Their bread is awesome, but there was twice when I went to et read that it was gone just as fast… So Jump on them! Our server was very friendly. Different meat servers come around and serve you select meats. You get to choose what you want and don’t want… Remember it’s AYCE so take advantage! The price was $ 60 on groupings(30% reduction) so get that. Mind you it doesn’t Come with a drink and you have to pay taxes on a regular prices meal.($ 90) tip it includes either so be generous!

I’ve been to a better CHURRASCARIA but because I have enjoyed the food, cool ambience, friendly and attentive servers, I will give an easy 4 stars It was Sunday lunch hour and a reservation was made so we got seated immediately. Mimosa and sangria were strong so I liked them for sure. Good variety of meat and side dishes. Nothing special tho’. It was just alright. Great ocean view!

I have been to other Brazilian churrascarias and I can say that there Sunday brunch includes pretty decent food with drinks for a decent price. The meats include, filet mignon, tri –tip, picahna, pepper steak, garlic steak, chicken, lamb, fish, sausage, and a few more cuts plus their salad buffet which also includes rice, omelettes and breads. The drinks that are included with the brunch are mimosas, champagne and sangria. Overall, the servers were cordial and they swiftly came around offering the different types of cuts. If they saw that you would say no to certain cuts they wood inquire what cut you’re waiting for and will bring it to you. Another plus, is the ocean view which makes it a beautiful place to enjoy a nice romantic brunch.

Pretty amazing deal I got through Livingsocial. For half the price, my fiancé and I got to eat a Brazilian meal with endless meats, salads, and alcoholic beverages for brunch. The Sunday brunch is awesome. You get to pick between mimosas, sangrias, and champagne; you can try everything but just not all at once. The salad bar was okay. The cheese bread was a bit heavier than those at Green Field in west Covina. The best things at the salad bar were the brrakfast potatoes, the hot stewed meats, and the garden salad. Everything else was too acidic or olive-y for me. The meats are great too but overwhelming. And once you keep trying new meats, your first few meats get cold and hardened. I suggest pacing yourself when it comes to meats. I love the three cheese chicken and the lamb! Drinks and the customer service were bomb! The mimosa was a bit watered down and tasted okay but my favorite was the sangria! Very fruity and not too overpowering. We probably wouldn’t come here at the normal price but I would say this was a great first try! I still prefer going to Green Field for Brazilian food though.

With all the mixed reviews about Samba I wasn’t sure what to expect from this place… but then again that can be said about all restaurants I visit. Thankfully, the experience was pleasant and a lot better than I anticipated. Samba is located next to the Redondo Pier. If you’re looking to have a nice view of the ocean while eating then I highly suggest you go while the sun is still up because once its down, you’ll be staring straight into darkness. On to the food and service… Our server Ricardo took care of my group continuously filling our drinks without asking. There is a hot bar and salad bar for self serving to go along with the meats that are continuously brought to the table. I have to say I was impressed with the hot bar. Pretty good selections such as stroganoff, pulled pork, chili beans, multiple rice dishes, etc. Ive been to a few Brazilian steakhouses now and have not come across any that had these items for self-serve…two thumbs up for that. There was a decent amount of meats brought to the table by multiple servers. I can only recall about two that I felt needed more flavoring(the lamb & the well done filet mignon) but all others were great. I really liked the sausages, garlic steak, spicy steak and the Samba signature steak. The two meats I really raved over was the bacon wrapped turkey and the blue cheese chicken. I couldn’t get enough of these two. The turkey was very moist with flavorful bacon surrounding it and the blue cheese mixed perfectly with the juices of the chicken and its seasoning. Arguably the best flavor I’ve had from a dish containing blue cheese. Stuffed and satisfied is how I left Samba. I only wish they would have brought out the bacon wrapped turkey and the blue cheese chicken sooner than the steaks. I would have eaten a lot more of the two. There were no Samba dancers dancing around during this visit but I can forgive that. All in all, this was a great dinner and I’d dine at Samba again whether it be this location, Universal City Walk or Vegas. Dinner 3÷8÷2016

Oh boy, this was a different dining experience! I went with a group for my friend’s birthday, and I really like the live entertainment(3 samba dancers, and costume changes throughout the night), and I had never seen samba dancers perform live. Some of the negatives, to get them out of the way: it took us half an hour to get seated, EVENTHOUGH there were plenty of open tables, on a Friday night, no less. Service was slow and disorganized, and really, all our waitress needed to do was get our drinks. However, it seemed like they were really understaffed and the employees, overworked. As for the guys coming around to give us meat, it was a novel idea in theory, but c’mon, It’s a little weird having to reach over the table to give someone else a piece of meat in our group of 10, not gonna lie! Our table was up against the wall on one side, and the waiter couldn’t fit between our table and the adjacent table. This part deserves its own paragraph, but I’m still explaining negatives: the food is extraordinarily overpriced. I suppose you pay for the dancers too, one would assume, but it cost $ 55 to partake in the salad, buffet and get the meats, no matter how many pieces of meat you took, it was $ 55. Drinks are not included in the price. What’s more, and this is ~RIDICULOUS~ — my friend was charged $ 14 for a weak, watery margarita with tons of ice, and when she asked for an extra tequila shot, they put $ 11 extra dollars on the bill! What in the name of… I don’t even know. Beyond belief. I got an Absolut Samba cocktail which tasted just like a tasty soda. I didn’t get the slightest buzz, but at least MY «soda» was only $ 7.50. Pros: The food is a salad bar and hot food buffet, and then waiters come to your table with enormous skewers of various meats and breads. You get to pull the meat off the skewer with a tiny pair of tongs as the waiter uses an enormous knife to cut it off. The guys carrying the meats have ample knowledge of the food, the preparation, and even what cut of meat it is. The meat was tender and prepared medium rare, which is the best way to cook steak. The garlic bread was very tasty, as well. As for the salad bar, I really liked that there were so many varieties of Brazilian foods, even though the ceviche was not a ceviche, but vegetables with chewy, bland squid. Overall: I would not have chosen this restaurant if it had been up to me, and I won’t go back. I like the layout of the restaurant and the entertainment, as well as a very novel concept from the typical restaurant, but I left unsatisfied and annoyed that I had to pay $ 2 to park on top of it all. Won’t come back. 2.5 stars, but I upped it to 3 because I think they have potential if they make just a few tweaks.

I haven’t had Brazilian AYCEBBQ in a long time, in 10+ years, so was looking forward to coming here when a group of us bought a Living Social half price for 4. I do eat AYCE Korean bbq quite often, though, so was interested in comparing this experience and see how they match up. Of course, the style is different, you cook your own food at a Korean place while here they bring the already bbq’d meat to your table and cut you slices. They have a large bar for appetizers, vegetables, and salads instead of Korean banchan. Also, you have a little Red-Green thingy on your table instead of the Korean doorbell you use when you want to order from the waiter. So already, there’s a lot of similarities. This restaurant in particular, was very nicely decorated. The servers who came around with the meat were very friendly and came around quite a bit. They all looked like male models, which is a plus for the ladies and imagine would make them feel comfortable. I wonder if this is a specific marketing choice when it came to hiring, as I can see this would draw groups of ladies here. Also, it’s located right off of Redondo Beach with a great ocean view. To enjoy this, it’s best to come in the Summer because in the winter when the sun sets by 6pm, you don’t get much of a view anyway. The quality of meat was ok and cooked well. As mentioned previously they come around often with different meat selections ranging from beef, pork, chicken, and fish. You get 2 slices of the meat unless you ask for more, so it’s more of a variety thing. The one thing that I noticed was the meat was very salty for my taste, though that may be how others prefer. I ended up drinking a lot because of that so I was filling up on liquids quite a bit. Also, because of the variety nothing really stood out as exceptional so I have a hard time remembering which ones were my favorite. I just remember I didn’t eat as much as I usually do at AYCE places, even though I starved myself. I think this was due to the saltiness. Though I did enjoy the meal, I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. I have a better time at Korean AYCE places, and because we’re blessed with so many places especially around Koreatown, it keeps the prices pretty low. The prices here are about double, but it’s a different experience. Parking is $ 3 for 2 hours.

Came in here bec of their deal on groupon. We or seated right away and the view is great. As soon as o saw the set-up, I kinda cringe. I knew it wasn’t going to be the best. There wasn’t a lot of side choices. There’s a couple salad choices and 1 fruit choice. I mean one!!! The meats are good but not great. There’s a few selections and they come around pretty often. Drinks are flowing so I can’t complain with the service.

Vale realmente a pena.
