Sandbox Smoke Shop

I bought a gift for a friend visiting from Arizona. When she opened the box we found that the pouch for storing the product was missing. Still, she loved it and so did everyone who saw it. Several people asked where I got it and are looking forward to shopping there in the future!

Place is amazeballs, they always seem to amaze me by having the latest and greatest smoking supplies. Staff has gone above and beyond on every visit so far.
Worth the trip.

My experience at the sandbox today was great. There was two ladies working, and both of them were extremely kind, patient and very informative. They are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Also if you sign up for their reward program you get 15% off.

I have unsubscribe from email list 4 times now but still keep getting spam emails. How hard is it to remove someone from list

Just bought a «micro» vape pen on sale for $ 30. Was looking for something inexpensive to hold me over until what I bought online arrives. Not impressed at all so far. The cap is loose because the o-​ring isn’t thick enough and the inside of the mouthpiece is dirty. So gross. I can’t believe I have to clean this thing before I use it. The employee also took it out of a wrapper so it likely came dirty from the manufacturer. Also found a comparable pen online for $ 5 less and includes a cap for the chamber so your wax has less of a chance of running out of the chamber (I was looking for instructions since I left mine in the box at home).
Not worth the hassle of going back. Just going to throw it out when my new pen arrives.
edit: After getting home, turns out it was the SAME vape pen. «On sale» for $ 5 more than online. What a rip.

Amber listened to all of my needs, and walked me through my entire decision process while I picked the four items I needed from their outstanding selection, all between 9:40−10pm…Very impressed.

Stores like this are crucial for a glass artists success and we are lucky to have this store right here in Redondo Beach…
The Sandbox has a very special American made glass pipe collection spanning two decades. The pipe movement has really grown and changed over the years and their variety definitely reflects this. I always enjoy stopping by to check out the new pieces and rediscovering old pieces as well… Thanks Sandbox and your fabulous employees for always being a happy place to visit!

The owner, Sparkle, contacted me and we discussed what happened. She explained that she would have handled things differently had she been there and went on to apologize for the negative experience I had. She went above and beyond in making sure that she knew what the issue was and resolving it as well as hooking me up in the process. She made things right and has earned my business. Sure nice staff! Walked in after walking a few blocks from my house and the blonde Girl that works there, who was the bomb, offered my friends and I some water. Super Great selection on anything and everything you’re looking for! Stop in for sure :)

This place was absolutely great! Huge selection, great vibe, rally friendly staff. Erin and Amber helped me during my visit, and were beyond helpful. You feel super important during your shopping experience. Would absolutely go again!

We love this shop, they always take the best care of us and know what they are talking about. CHRIS is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable… he even helped us fix our water pipe! Great staff and service!

Worst customer service. I’ve tried going here on and off for a very long time and I am so over it. The short girl with curly hair is by far the worst each and every time. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve left the store because she ignored me or was completely rude.
Bought a nail that literally fell apart at the seams after one [proper] use, and she sat there thinking about exchanging it. Stores should have policies, not leave it up to how their employees are feeling. No big deal if you have a policy, but don’t decide in front of me that you aren’t going to do something.
She said she could give me a deal on something new. Okay, fine. I go look and decide what I want instead, and no one ever comes to see if I decided/​need help/​want to see something. Literally not a word! I turn to leave and notice she’s been standing right there, just clearly had no interest in helping. My boyfriend laughs and makes a comment that they clearly don’t want our money, and she responds sarcastically. At least recognize your error; don’t continue to be rude to the customers!
I’ve spent so much money here, as have my good friends. The taller girl with dark hair & glasses is fantastic, and with her excellent customer service I spent $ 200 last time without blinking an eye and left happy.
If you guys have any sense you will hire more people that care about the people spending money, as it seems the consensus on Unilocal lately is that your currently employees are awful.
You won’t get any more of my money. I found the same, cheap nail on eBay for $ 5, and, on my way home, found a smoke shop closer to my house with much nicer staff, since I left yours empty handed. So happy to never have to step foot in there again, and I’ll make sure none of my friends do either.

Though you say it’s uncommon, when I told a few of my friends of my experience, they knew the exact employee I was talking about because they could describe her and have had the same type of experiences with her.
I was in the area a few days ago and curious if anything had changed, so I walked in (no acknowledgement of my presence, of course, though no other customers were inside), looked around & saw the same girl was working so I turned around and walked out. I see nothing has changed, which is rather unfortunate.

Awesome place, super cool selection, down to earth staff and decent prices, my girlfriend and I came it and bought a new piece and we love it very well made and with their loyalty program it made the price even more reasonable definitely will be back ! I would totally check this place out if I were you

Young woman who attended me was sort of rude, until she saw I was actually buying something, other than that the shop is extremely well kept and carries a wide variety of glass wear that should be considered a piece of art.

This place is great! Great selection of glassware. cant forget their deal on XXL wraps were great! Friendly/​staff Definitely recommend this place. Actually heading there now for stocking stuffers! :p

Love coming to the Sandbox! The staff is always nice and attentive. If you have any questions about their products they are usually more thay happy to help. Been coming here for years. Not planning on changing that anytime soon :)
Also, is you join their «Rewards» club they add a 15% discount on all purchases and if you happen to drop by on your birthday they give you 30% discount and even give you a small b-​day gift box. How sweet :)

I hate to write this review because I usually really like Sandbox. But I bought the PAX which was recommended to me by their employees. They said it was the best, blah blah, blah. So I spent $ 270 on it. Within a day it stopped working. Their policy states they can’t return or exchange items if it’s been used. Which fine I guess they want to have a strict policy, but seriously, they should make exceptions on big purchases that their own employees suggest. Especially because it has only been a day and since I spent so much. I can go through PAX since it has a year warranty. But seriously come on, in one day of buying this item and I have to deal with this? So annoying.

Everytime I bring my brother this place is always full of selection. It’s clean it’s awesome and the ambiance of this place is amazing.
I love the music that they are always playing and even though I don’t smoke I enjoy coming here whenever I bring my brother!

Awesome store, I get so much from them, my most recent purchase was getting a dab rig set up. I got hooked up with a decent pipe, titanium nail and torch for all under $ 150. We did have some trouble getting the torch lighting but when we went back Chris served us and he was super helpful and got us going again!

In addition to the glass wear they have a good range of papers including RAW and OCB as well as clipper lighters, some pretty decent minerals for growers and a whole selections of teas and hooka.
One of the best shops of its kind in the area, friendly, welcoming and decently priced.
