Seaside Motel

Overall the cleanest motel I’ve been in. A little pricey but not for the area, and the service was fantastic. Would go again.

Drove up from San Diego and just needed an overnight stay before I caught a crazy early flight at LAX; this place is awesome! Clean, roomy, comfortable rooms at affordable prices. Comfortable bed with soft sheets. Quiet for sleeping. My room had a full kitchen with a full size fridge and oven; even a little dining table and chairs. The check-​in was hassle free and staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed at Seaside Motel while vacationing for a few days. I was expecting a Motel 6 type of experience, but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this motel. Other reviewers said the parking lot was small. Although this is partially true I was able to find parking in the lot each day I was there. It’s small, but not tiny. There is free coffee in the lobby which I took advantage of. Some of the pictures look outdated, they are in the process of remodeling so my room looked a lot newer than some of the pictures. There was a Samsung flat screen with full cable, fridge, microwave, desk, comfortable bed, new carpet, bedside table with plugs on the lights, free wifi (Can’t believe some hotels still change for this), near the beach, near restaurants, across the street from Starbucks, everything one could possibly need. Only downside is walls are a little thin could here my neighbor brush his teeth at night. Also, daytime hotel construction noise was annoying, but in the end a good thing I guess because hotel will be even nicer. All in all I will be back if in the area again.

This place is clean, quiet and the owners are on the premises at al times. The staff is attentive, very nice and don’t hesitate to do what they can to make your stay amazing. There are store, shops and dining place within walking distance. The parking is a little hectic but the owner offered to move my car when a spot was available, and he did. I will definitely come back here again.

Checked in for Valentine’s weekend since my boyfriend has been coming here since 2000. Delightfully relaxing garden area with thousands of quaint birdhouses, statues, windchimes, and other garden features!
The rooms are also decorated in quaint themes. Ours was the tearoom with teakettle and cup lamps and more!

What? How in the world is this place so cheap? We actually just checking about climate to go, but so blown away that had to review the place right away. I suppose that if the air conditioner explodes, and then the guy comes to curse at us and spit on the floor, I might lower to four stars. But so far, we booked this room without looking at pictures online, just with a phone call, the gentleman was incredibly friendly, actually asked about our family to help us pick the right room, we ended up in room 47. It is huge, with a separate living room and bedroom with two beds, a kitchen — an actual kitchen, with a two burner stove, a full-​size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, utensils, a pan and some dishes. For the price we paid, we were just hoping for clean. The place is actually immaculate, but surprisingly, the appliances, furniture, carpet, tile, TV, it’s all new. I don’t understand how we got this place for the price we paid. This is ridiculous. Just do yourself a favor and book this place.

We’re a family of four with two little ones, and just needed a place to stay for a quick overnight in Hermosa. Loved this hidden gem of a motel! Convenient location, nice sized rooms (we had plenty of room for our luggage and baby’s pack-​n-​play), fridge, microwave, cold a/​c, very clean, nicely updated and tastefully decorated. If you’re looking for a convenient, safe, clean, simple place that won’t break your budget, this is the place! We’ll certainly stay here again.

This was mine and my boyfriend’s first trip to California. We were looking for a nice place to stay that was clean and reasonably price. This is definitely a place I would book again for my next visit. We stayed in room 30 and its a mini suite with a living room, mini fridge, microwave, shower/​tub, hair dryer, room cleaning when requested, window unit for heating/​cooling/​fan, iron, iron board, hangers for clothes, full dressers, wifi, and cable TV in both the living room and bedroom. This place has everything i could think of. I would say the only bad thing is that there is not enough parking in the lot but there is more on the street if needed. There is also a Starbucks across the street and only a ten minute drive to the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this place to anyone.

Great place to stay! The rooms are clean and the wifi works great. The management is very friendly and they do a great job of running this place. You won’t find many motels in the South Bay for this price and level of quality. Conveniently located on Artesia Blvd which has everything you need and provides a straight shot to the Pacific Coast Hwy, as well as the 405, 110 and 91 freeways.

The owner of this motel was amazing. We had car problems coming in from AZ and he held our room for us. Not only did his son help us with our bags but he moved his personal vehicle so we had a closet space to park. My mother is disabled and couldn’t walk far and he got a spot right next to our room. The room is outstanding. It even has a DVD player! The room is clean and the pillows are amazing. Beds are a little stiff but I slept amazingly. Only reason I didn’t give a five star rating is because the parking could be better. Not enough spaces for the amount of guests. Other than that I would love to stay here again!

Honestly the best motel I have ever stayed in. It should be a hotel this place is amazing. The gentleman. At the front desk is always welcoming. He’s very friendly and has a great sence of humor. The rooms are clean and smell good. I have never had an issue with the place or the guy there. Room number 48 is the best it’s a mini suite with a sofa in the living room and a nice big cunfortable bed. If I can give this place more than a 5 star I honestly and truly would. also you get clean sheets and a clean smelling room to sleep in. I’m not sure if there is any other motel that will have that. Over all the place is amazing the people there are amazing and the environment is great. Highly highly highly recommend this motel. And it’s for a low cost! Can’t complain about that. Keep it up boss man

Awesome value for the money! Clean upgraded rooms, great location and super friendly staff!
Also — the Burger King down the street served my boyfriend and I when we got desperate for greasy food after our night out when we walked up the drive through window! Honestly — don’t spend your money anywhere else in Redondo!

For the price of under 100 bucks, this place rocks. I am use to staying in upper end hotels at a discount: Westin, Sheraton, Hyatt, Hilton, but I was not going to fork out the big bucks in Redondo for a late check in.
The manager/​owner? was awesome! The place clean and close enough to the beach. No frills. I give it 5 stars as for the price in this area, I would totally stay here again!

It’s not fancy but it’s clean. The owners work and manage the property, are responsive, and customer focused. The location is excellent with 4 – 5 places to eat within walking distance.
The beach and pier are about 2 miles away from the property as is the 405 freeway
Value priced at under $ 100 for the night. I’ll stay there again. Recommended

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at the Seaside Motel. The management staff was friendly and accommodating with everything we could ask for. The rooms were renovated and very clean and tidy. The part that impressed me the most was how the staff went above and beyond and were truly invested in making my stay as comfortable as possible. Will definitely be staying here again.

I was happy to stay at the Seaside Motel during our three-​day trip to L.A. For well under one hundred dollars per night, I got a clean, comfortable room, friendly staff, covered parking, and a nice outdoor ambiance (the tall palm trees and neon pink Motel sign were the perfect touch).
It is in a great location, just blocks from the PAC, and fifteen minutes from LAX. The beach was just a short drive away. There are plenty of inexpensive but tasty restaurants around too (we ate at a Thai place, a fish place, and a diner, all delicious). We would stay here again

Great spot! Great customer service and really good location and affordable rates! So easy to get to the beach and close to several dining locations! The maid staff really keep the rooms looking great! Management really has a great customer connection, very helpful! I will be staying here next time I am in town… thank you for the hospitality!
