Michael’s been my main man for all things glasses related for 20+ years. Absolute nicest guy, cheapest price, impeccable service. Wish I could give him 6 stars!

Michael at Sight Right is a very good person. There is a review here that does not reflect my 15 years experience with him. He has saved me and my wife a lot of money with nice glasses and good conversations over the years. My wife was director of a non profit that served at risk children in the area and Michael helped supply glasses for low income families and their kids… with a smile.
Michael seems to have so many customers that he had trouble keeping up. I want to thank him for running a customer centric operation.

Have been using Sight Right exclusively for my family for probably 15 years since getting tired of being ripped off by the big brand (i.e., Lenscrafters) when I didn’t know any better. Michael is a sweetheart, thoroughly professional and as patient as the day is long. I let him pick frames for me; he suggests 2 or 3, 1 always hits the mark, and that’s it. Over the years I’ve probably sent 15 mostly picky people to Sight Right and have heard nothing but positive feedback. I rarely review anything, but after reading the «hit piece» someone wrote after apparently having a bad hair day… I had to try to set the record straight. Sight Right is a gem!

Horrible customer service. Michael, the owner, has a 12 year old bully mentality and as thrown more than one temper tantrum with me. I have been going for years and this last visit was the last straw. He gets frazzled a lot and doesn’t know how to handle 2 people in his store. This last time I brought in unique glasses for him to put prescription lenses into. I came in and asked if we could go over the color shades and he said he didn’t want to waste 3 hours going over it, he was busy. He told me to come back next week because he’s too busy for me. (I was there all of 5 minutes and I am NOT gabby or disrespectful of his time! so I was like WTF?). So I complied, altho I should have just walked out then and never returned. When I did return, he apologized for his rude behavior, which was nice. Well today, I realized he used the wrong prescription on my glasses. He used the year before, not the current year in his files. When I asked him about it, he got angry & frazzled and said «I can’t find your paperwork!». I asked if he did make the mistake could they be redone? and he his answer was No. His face turns all red and he looks like he’s about to blow. He gets that way – real hot tempered. Then he left the room and cranked his music real loud. I stood around waiting for a few minutes and didn’t know if I was supposed to wait or if we were done, since he didn’t say goodbye, so I finally just left. I will never go back. Extremely rude & unprofessional. And the thing is I’ve given him a lot of business, even sent friends to him. Never again!

I have been wearing glasses for over 20 years, and this shop is so great that I feel sad I have only now just found it. Admittedly, I first found Michael when I needed to get nose pads put on my new frames, but his attention to detail, obvious knowledge/​background, and customer service immediately shot this little store up to the top in all of my experiences with opticians/​glasses. Also, he has frames with lenses included for under $ 100 — this is incredible, as I have paid over $ 600 to get frames and my special high-​prescription lenses before. DO NOT get your glasses from your eye doctor’s office — you pay extra for designer frames and they charge you retail on your lenses as well. This guy has it right, and I will be going to Michael for all my glasses needs from now on. I signed up for Unilocal so I could share the greatness of this place with everyone; it really is just that great.
