The Client Hair Studio

Years ago, a friend recommended The Client Hair Studio. I’m always apprehensive – no idea why – about new people cutting my hair but took a leap of faith and went. First time I met Liz and she had a great attitude about what I needed done to my hair. She was talented and did a great job! I came back several times to see her and then she left for a different salon. I followed her and went once. She still knows how to do great hair but unfortunately, the new salon wasn’t so accommodating. I wasn’t treated as warmly as before and the receptionist wanted to book my appointment 6 weeks in advance. I said I’d need to call back and she got a bit huffy with me. I decided to return to The Client where the atmosphere is very accommodating, warm, friendly and welcoming. Another friend recommended Antonio! I plunged in and booked an appointment with him. I needed a cut, something new and easy. Antonio is GREAT! He cleaned up a messy cut and and gave me a great style. But… when I wanted to go even shorter, Antonio told me to go home for a week and if I still wanted a shorter cut, then he would recut it for me! I did and he did and I am very happy! The staff are kind and personable and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

What a great experience! Denise is amazing!
I am 35 weeks pregnant and I was in dire need of a cut and color. I was going to wait until after the baby was born, but that means an additional 16 weeks (once baby is born and I am able to make it out of the house) with my hair and I couldn’t handle the thought. I cannot be huge and have terrible hair too.
I was so happy that they were open, not only is it Monday, but it is also a holiday. I called at 9:30am and they were able to squeeze me in. With only an hour and a half Denise did my cut, color, and blow out (well for the blowout I was tag teamed by both Denise and Antonio since I was in a rush). I was out of there by 2pm and I am currently writing this review from my dr.‘s Office.

Second time here… Antonio cut and styled my hair both times. I was not blessed with good hair. Antonio is literally the first person in 20 years to give me a modern cut that i can do myself and looks great. Salon is open, airy and clean. Nice staff, great product selection including Aveda. Everyone I saw walked out looking great, def talented stylists here. Highly, highly recommend.

I made an appointment at The Client because it is right next to my daughter’s art class at Canvas and Clay and I am so glad I did! Jessi cut and colored my hair and I love it. She took her time with me, got to know what I wanted and offered thoughtful suggestions. The price was very reasonable and the color is perfect. I am so happy to have a great place for hair!

Had my hair cut and dyed by Jessi today and she did an amazing job! I don’t like getting hair cuts due to a couple bad experiences at other places but she was great! She cut just the right amount and dyed the bottom section of my hair a gorgeous teal color. She’s awesome and I love her! Definitely very helpful and great to talk to! I would most definitely recommend this place and will come back to see Jessi for my next hair appointment :-)

Liz is awesome! I don’t have hair… but I am the one that takes my son for his cuts. He has very fine hair with a heavy cowlick. I have taken him to several local places with no luck. He never likes his cut. Liz gave him a style that fit him. He was happy = I was happy.
She is also my wife’s stylist. I am always happy with her cuts as well. She is happy = I am happy! Great job, Liz! Thank you.
My only challenge is that she is so good that she is booked out about a week. My son always waits until the day he wants his hair cut, but that isn’t her fault. She’s good = she’s busy!

Went here for the first time to see Karen about two weeks ago. I love the atmosphere, everything is so clean and very well taken care of. The staff is friendly and Karen does an amazing job! She knew exactly how I wanted it colored and I let her cut it how she thought would look best and I absolutely LOVE it!!!
I will definitely be a returning customer!

I LOVE KAREN! I have been coming here since it opened and Karen has always done my hair. She will be doing my wedding hair and I love the test run! Seriously, Karen is amazing. Also, if I desperately need my hair done and can’t get an appointment soon enough with miss Karen, my go-​to is Denise. She did my hair in High School and gave me some great color. I love The Client and I’m sure you will too! Relax with a cup of coffee, and get an amazing haircut/​color that you will truly adore.

I always go to see Liz, shes great! My color is always amazing… She always tells me whats best for me but always makes sure & asks me what i would like done & with out doubt she always finishes with a top result. Liz always makes me feel comfortable knows everything about my life & remembers (knowing all the clients she sees she had a good memory :) The rest of the staff there are always friendly too & provide a happy warm welcome… I recommend The Client Hair Studio to anyone!

I’ve been going to this salon for the past few years and have had nothing but positive experiences. Parking is easy, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and they really care about their clients being happy with their hair. Liz is the only person I’ve been to so far, and she’s absolutely terrific. They might be a little more expensive than the chain salons, but you’ll probably be a lot happier with the results.

This salon is a friendly and quiet place to have your beauty needs met. They are known for their proffesional demeaner and Great Haircoloring and Haircutting expertise.
Denise one of the owners is very pleasant and informative about the newest products and trends. She does my Haircolor and Haircuts and I always recieve compliments on my hair.
The experience of the staff shows by the quality of the work they do there.

Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I was running late (I’m NEVER late for appointments!) and also got lost (blame it on my out of date GPS which sent me to east Torrance) and ended up being almost an hour late for my appointment with Liz, which was her last appointment of the day on a Saturday. I called her and told her that I could reschedule because I didn’t want to ruin her Saturday night, but she said that I should just come anyway (an hour late) because she knows how good getting your hair done makes people feel. That’s when I knew Liz was the real deal.
To say the customer service is great would be an understatement. Liz went above and beyond.
My sister got an adorable short cut from Liz a couple weeks ago, and now I took advantage of the $ 40 off cut and color deal. It was worth the price — I am so happy with my new color!

I love Liz. There are no places In Redondo beach that does black hair let alone care to do it. The staff at The client hair studios are all about all hair. Liz makes sure my hair looks great. She knows that i am very protective of my hair… But i feel great when i leave. I always get complements on my hair and she does eyebrows as well. The great thing about this salon is that it is family owned. Antonio is a gem. He has a first class staff and they always make you feel at home…

Liz is a hair magician!!! I have naturally medium brown hair, went blonde for a bit, then began dying my hair dark brown. When I decided to go blonde again, Liz got me there within hours, without any hair loss and gave me a beautiful, shiny, healthy head of hair! Liz has a knack for always exceeding my expectations by giving me a style or color that really works with me to accentuate my outer as well as my inner beauty. Liz is always thinking about maintaining the integrity of her clients’ hair and is very up to date with all the latest hair treatments, technology, colors and styles, and we have fun chatting about them while I sit in her chair :). Most recently she introduced me to the Keratin Complex hair treatment and I was floored! My hair is the softest and shiniest it has ever been in my entire life, I will definitely be having her do it again. As long as I have Liz I can trust that I will be looking good and my hair will be healthy!

I’m a natural redhead. However, as I have gotten older, I’ve discovered I need to «enhance.» OK, I’ll admit, that’s a bit of an understatement. The truth is, somehow my hair has turned this weird dishwater, I-don’t-know-what-color, and I need to change it magically back to a beautiful auburn once again! I’ve been through more than my fair share of bad and good colorists, and I’ve learned a very important thing: a colorist either understands the nuances and subtleties of the different shades of a natural redhead, or they don’t.
Liz is one of the people who understands!
Not only does Liz do the most amazing and gorgeous coppery, shimmery color, she does a stunning hair cut as well!
I found Liz a couple of years ago when I had long, stringy hair. I allowed her to chop a good 6 inches off and even give me bangs for the first time since I was 16 years old. Ladies, can we just say, bangs are the new botox! I absolutely adore my sassy, shaggy «do,» and it fits my personality perfectly.
Just this year, I had an ill-​advised free hair cut and color from a stylist not affiliated with this salon. Let’s just say, the result was about as bad as it gets. It was the first time I have ever cried over a hair cut. With a little time and little care from Liz, she has managed to restore my hair. It was completely dried out from the products the other stylist used, plus the cut was terrible. Now it is finally looking cute and adorable once again!
Lesson learned, Liz is my girl. I don’t plan on going to anyone else for a very long time. She is the best!

This was my first time actually going to a NICE salon and even getting my hair colored. Boy, was i nervous or what!
I called the previous night to schedule an appt… and left a message since they were closed. I got a call the next day and was to go in late morning.
Parked in the retail shopping garage and walked over. The receptionist was nice and offered me water or coffee. Water!
Then I met Liz, the one who did my hair. She was helping another client but greeted me and said she’ll be with me momentarily… She’s young! Yay… I was dreading of getting someone way older (no offense)… but yeah: P
After she was done, I moved over to the chair. I showed her the cut I wanted and mentioned a color for my hair. We agreed on the cut and then she excuse herself to get the color swatches… She showed me about 10 different ones but WE both caught our eyes on this color: Blackberry. WOO!
She was super nice and understanding. We talked, about school, my life, her interest in hair and how it started, and even a lil bit about Teen Mom, the mtv show. lol.
Overall, I looooooove the experience. Totally going back. TOTALLY. I love how my haircut came out. She styled it a lil and told me what products to use. I just leave my hair natural tho, and straighten it when I go out. I’m just not at that stage of using actual product for my hair.
The color, ahhh… i love. I’m thinking of switching over to a more red tone so we’ll see…

Great haircut by Liz yesterday. I’m pretty picky and knew what I wanted. She listened to me and did her magic. Love the results, and I’ll be back. Highly recommend Liz.

I had a wonderful first visit to this salon today. Liz was great, very personable and patient. She took time with me to understand what I was looking for in a cut and with color. I was happy with my highlights and cut was very good! They are a pretty new studio so you can get in pretty easily and get great service too. Nice environment, staff is friendly and lots of Aveda products so it smells good. Also easy parking in a nice area on PCH.
