Without a doubt, The Shenbaum group are the best landlords I have ever rented from! I’ve rented from Jennifer and her team, for over two two years. They have excellent communication, respond quickly to any concerns or questions — and if anything goes wrong with the home — they fix it right away. Jennifer, Lauren, and her contractor, Carlos are amazing. Recently Carlos came to our house to do preventative maintenance around the yard, in preparation for El Niño — they really care about their properties & their tenants, and it shows. I would not hesitate to do business with Jennifer and The Shenbaum group. They are kind & trustworthy — highly recommended!

Background — Our family purchased a home from Jennifer after her team had made major renovations ($ 200K+ worth).
Deal Execution /​Negotiation — If I could give more than 5 stars here, I would. As in any RE deal, there is serious stress during negotiations and escrow. The deal doesn’t just stop once escrow opens. The best way to describe it is Jennifer is there to help, assist, and negotiate to close the deal and make things right. It was a two way street throughout the entire process. It was amazingly pleasant to communicate with Jennifer during the process. She never put up walls, never hid behind contractual wording, was always honest, and was always fair. Of course, as a buyer, you should also be fair to expect the same form the seller.
Quality of Remodel — Let me start off by saying, most renovations, if not performed by myself, I’d give negative stars for. With that high benchmark, I’d have to give 4.5 stars here. The quality of most materials was top notch, there was no skimping on the materials. The workmanship is good and up to standards With the amount of work and money her team spent on the project, having only a few issues shows they ran a VERY well quality controlled process.
After Sale Experience — 5+ stars here. Usually in RE, once escrow closes, parties part ways and there’s no more communication. No so with Jennifer. She really excelled here and followed up with us after the close. She had her crew take care of several small issues I found only after moving into the house.
If given the chance, we would not hesitate to buy another home from her. As RE investors go, she balances her returns with delivering quality and treating her buyers fairly.

I can’t say enough about the straightforward and honest way I was handled by Jennifer. My condo had some major financial problems, which I disclosed to her, and she still made me what I considered a fair offer. Some other cash buyers might try to take advantage of the situation, but not her. The transaction was easy, and she really knows her business. I have recommended her to other people and I hope they will get in touch with her. They couldn’t get anyone better!

Her customer service skills are top notch. She always responds to emails and phone calls quickly, and she updated me more than the escrow company did. She is a good listener and is very understanding and flexible about scheduling needs. Because of my schedule, I regret I did not get to meet her in person.
