This pharmacy is consistently terrible. They consistently tell you your prescription is ready, and when you show up, they pretend to (1) have no idea what you are talking about, (2) say they don’t have the medication [then why call me and say it’s ready] (3) have never filled the prescription, so if you say you’ll come back in an hour, they still won’t have it ready (4) fraudulently tell you they will receive the medication on Wednesday, and when you come back, make you wait for it.
I don’t know what their problem is, but they don’t seem to care if they have a problem. If you’re waiting in a line of one person, they have no problem gabbing among each other about personal things, and avoid dealing with customers. Talk less, work more. I hate this place.

Do not go here after sundown… The weirdos start rolling in! This parking lot is terrifying. One man heckled me from the door on the way out all the way to my car, then kept standing there while I put my baby in her car seat. Not sure why Walgreens is allowing these people to hang out at their entrance!
Secondly, the Leah lady behind the photo counter was beyond rude to me. She was just standing there so I nicely asked her if she happened to know how much longer my pictures would be. The computer gave me a time of 8:12pm but it was already past that. She rudely replied with «I have orders ahead of you still!» So I told her i didn’t mind waiting, but was just wondering if she happened to know how much longer it might be. She actually IGNORED me that time.
Like I get that you deal with some interesting people at this location but I’m definitely not one of them.
They also don’t sell any alcohol at this location ether which completely makes sense considering the abundance of homeless people and criminals that hang out around this parking lot.
Man. I can’t believe I actually went to this store after dark with a baby. What was I thinking?:(

Stopped at this location right after work only because they are convenient but everytime I visit they are so rude and mean. I practically stood in the pharmacy line to fill a Rx for my sixteen ur old son and there was no one else in line… No One and they never assisted until 10 min had passed. Then he says he doesn’t understand a simple Rx, I say forget the tooth paste prescription I’ll fill it at our normal Walgreens and walk to buy my lotion and the cashier tries to charge me full price for a sale item. I can’t remember the number I registered with back in 2008 and don’t have the card so she said «Oh well» you pay full price $ 9 vs 5.89. I told her I’ve been to so many Walgreens and cvs which they will honor their sale price even if you forget your card/​number for sale
Items or just offer you another card. She says ohhhh no you pay full price. The service at this Walgreens is horrible, I should’ve learned my lesson in 2015 when I was pregnant and they couldn’t get their stuff together in the pharmacy department. It’s sad that this Walgreens in the heart of Redondo would have such bad service. I won’t even send my patients their way for prescriptions as their service is horrible and unacceptable. The pharmacy manager was present as I stood there for 10 minutes and never had her cashier take me for the Rx drop off she just kept looking over but made herself available for the customers who walked up to her window for questions about over the counter items they needed to buy because they didn’t have a prescription for the items needed. Truly bad service!!! I will drive the extra miles to get better service.

A «24 hr pharmacy» that was closed when I walked in! They said it will open in half hour?! What??? 3^rd visit here– same experience! not because I want to go to this store … Had to pick up meds for mom. Wouldn’t go here if I had a choice …

Their pharmacy team is awesome! Richard is so nice and always so helpful. He goes above and beyond every time we are there which is a lot since I have three kids. Drive thru is a little slow sometimes but when we go in it zooms by!
Best Walgreens customer service by far!

Well, it happened. Just as I was going to celebrate getting through winter without a day of illness, the illness struck. Specifically, I got a mild cold, so it’s not too bad.
Whenever the cold or flu rears its ugly head, I use the best combination of over the counter meds there is available. I buy Sudafed with pseudoephedrine, and a saline nasal spray. This time around, I don’t have a stuffy nose, but just a sore throat with some mild chest congestion. So the Sudafed is my wonder drug this time around.
To buy anything with pseudoephedrine, you need to present your ID, and sign a statement saying that you won’t turn the pseudoephedrine into any sort of drug. Also, you can only buy a certain amount per month.
When used, it is very effective in dealing with cold and flu symptoms. When coupled with the saline nasal spray, it feels like I’m not even sick. Of course, I give it about a week until I return to the gym, as my body still needs time to deal with the illness.
The store itself is clean, well stocked, and efficiently run. It’s sits at the border of Redondo Beach and Torrance. For all things over the counter, check this place out.
And as for try at avoiding the illness all winter… I’ll try again next year.

I would like to give them no stars what so ever. I made a phone call to get a refill on my precription i was on hold for 25 min. So i drove to the location and ome pharmist had a customer and the other pharmisit didnt have a customer. Really making customer wait on hold for 25 min. I work in retail and i always pick up busy or not. This is rediclous. I will find another place. Then when i went in to talk to the gentleman named Richard and try to talk to him he was really really rude like he didnt want to be there. Heres advice you dont like your job QUIT. Managers need to hire friendly people.

Of course the photo printer doesn’t have paper. Really the easiest thing to order for your store so irritating! There should always be paper why let that run out it just baffling to me or the computer doesn’t work get a new one! Or dont offer the product!

Great front staff. Was a little or off by one of the pharmacy techs who was beyond prickly. Not am enjoyable person or easy to all questions. Other than her, I like this pharmacy and use it often. Also, very clean store.

Martina is such a sweet and dedicated employee. She is ALWAYS here. I have walked into this Walgreens at random hours of the day and have seen her, always smiling, behind the checkout counter.
I, honestly, used to hate this Walgreens because I thought that their customer service sucked. Now I don’t mind shopping there because Martina sure has a way of brightening my day.

Marina has to be the nicest, sweetest cashier on the planet! And Mr. Foley is back as assistant manager; he’s always so helpful if you need to place a special order. Cool Redondo pens, t-​shirts and other souvenirs too. Never a long line either.

When I walk in and ask you a question while you are putting balloons into the corral, stop what you’re doing and look at me. And when you don’t carry something, I don’t need you to a) tell me that Target carries it (they don’t, I JUST came from there) or b) tell me that you’ve worked at Walgreens for 6 years and you’ve never carried it. A simple no is fine. RUDE.

Pharmacy has the WORST customer service, the Asian lady that seems like the «head» nurse is VERY rude and didn’t even explain to me the medication when I had asked her too. She seemed very judgmental and did not help, it is not the first time I went and she was rude to me… I will never go back to this pharmacy again telling everyone I know not to go to this pharmacy until that lady is fired or learns how to treat customers

This review is for the pharmacy only, all the techs are really nice and friendly and very helpful. I really like getting my prescription filled here when I need one. Usually just takes 15 minutes waiting depending on the type you need filled.

Sat on hold for 20 min while a guy checked to see if they had a certain medication. Finally gave up and decided to drive there. No one was even in the pharmacy it was a ghost town. When I told the lady what happened she just stood up for the man telling me he can’t disclose that medication over the phone. Wish he would have said something while I was on hold for 20 min. I’ve seen busier pharmacies get things done faster.
Later cancelled my order due to not being able to call dr to confirm. Shouldn’t they have told me that at 6:30 when I dropped off my prescription and all doctors are clearly closed?

Under the worst management ever. Doesn’t care about customer service at all. The only person that does is the nice girl at the front cashier. Otherwise it’s the worst.

This is open 24 Hours, I believe, so is a good place to have in case of an emergency in the neighborhood, especial for things medical related.

Been shopping here since it’s opening, but I’ve only been in this store at about 6:00am as it is on my way to work. I’ve shopped here at that time PLENTY of times though.
Most of the employees are pleasant… wait, no, they WERE pleasant. Over the past year or so, I’ve noticed that this 6:00am shift is not the happy and helpful squad, maybe they never really were and I was just stoked to have a 24 hour store on my way to work? They seem to be more interested in stocking the shelves and yelling conversations back and forth about random things. I’m fine with hearing foul language to a certain degree but I think that if you are employed in a position where the public is within earshot, it should NEVER be spoken. This is almost a regular thing during my early morning quick stops at this Walgreens.
I used to stop in once or twice a week, I’d buy gifts for co-​workers, birthday cards, things for home and for my desk at work… I no longer stop in here unless it’s an emergency sitch now.
It’s an effort to get someone to the cash registers in the mornings, even if one sees you they don’t call the cashier. I’m not singling out a one-​time thing either, this is the norm with 2 regular employees.
I love love LOVE that it is open 24 hours and the selection is pretty good all over the store, especially the seasonal items.
This place is 4 – 5 stars for it’s hours and variety of items.
… however, it’s a 1 or 2 for the employees and their lack of tact or decency.
Stop making this nice, new, great store a ghetto. Learn respect and manners.
I’ll be back, I know I will, I hold out confidence that this store can be a really nice one given the proper training and employees.

This Walgreen is convenient for me with the addition for their private lot. The store is well stock and over price on most of their items. My visit was to buy sunscreen. I bought a Walgreen brand for $ 7 for less then 10oz is only a couple of cents less then bigger brands. The check out was less then 10min. The cashier was friendly and efficient.
