Walk N Roll Pet Sitting and Dog Walking

Walk N roll Pet Sitting did a great job with my dog Kai this weekend. It was our dog’s first time in boarding and all seemed to go well!
I used the 3-​day groupon pass and it was perfect for this weekend. I reached out to her about a month in advance. We got everything scheduled. I do agree that the paperwork before boarding was a little tedious however, I think its perfectly acceptable. If we are going to trust people to take care of our dogs I am more than happy to provide Tish with as much information as I can to give my dog the best possible care.
When we first got there I was not aware that it was a home. At first, I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but then I realized a home setting would probably be more comfortable for him to adjust than a cold looking office building. Her house was very clean and well kept! My dog Kai, gets very shy and scared in the beginning and Tish was very patient with him. She let him calmly get used to the surroundings. She would let him get comfortable with the outside then slowly transition him inside, and then slowly meet the dogs. It was great to know she wasn’t overloading him with so much at once.
Tish kept us updated as she knew it was our first time apart via email. It was nice to provide us with a little more information since she knew it was tough for us to leave him. Although she is a little tough to reach on the phone I can’t really blame her. I wouldn’t be thinking about my phone if I had a bunch of dogs to take care of. Anytime I couldn’t get her on the phone I just shot her an email and she was very good about responding within reasonable time.
It was a great experience and I’m so happy we were able to leave Kai with a loving company.

I really try to think positive about businesses, especially one that we would trust our dog to stay at while on vacation but I’m glad that we never got to the point that most of these reviewers did. We purchased a groupon for 5 days of pet sitting. Our trip isn’t for a few months but we wanted to meet the people where he would be staying much in advance since we will be out of the country. I filled out the forms and requested a meet and greet. I got a response back several days later from the owner with multiple questions because of his «breed». She had to protect other animals obviously since he is a pit bull but refused to even meet him. There are no breed or weight restrictions listed on the website but her response another week later was that she has a trip that just «came up» the same weekend and that we should request a refund from groupon. I would never let my dog stay there now and she obviously has a prejudged opinion against some breeds. Do not recommend.

I’ll start with a positive because I am fully aware that Tish will respond with some vague policy highlighted in bold and the customer is wrong type attitude as I have read on here.
I had been using Tish the past year or two for dog boarding when I am away and have spent quite a bit of $$$$. I have no doubt in her capabilities to care for healthy animals. So in that regard, if you are positive your dog will never get sick and you wont be gone long, you are probbaly safe.
My dog became ill while in Tish’s care (stress related) while I was away on business. Unfortunatly being 3000 miles away, I did everything I could do to find someone to pick up my dog as soon as possible. However, both roomates were away and obviously if I had someone, I woudlnt have needed her services. However, when I told Tish I could have someone get him the next morning, she requested I have someone get him right away. As if it wasnt stressful enough being away and not being able to care for a dog with diarrhea myself, I had to reach out to friends I did not expect to bring him to the vet (in which my judgement was questioned).
Then when I requested reinbursement to go towards my vet bill, she kept sending me her cancellation policy. Though I understand a cancellation policy if I were the one canceling, I do not understand that if she cancels on you, you have no rights. She charged me a clean up fee which was no issue but would not issue me a refund of the lousy $ 100. For a reoccuring customer who has spent thousands, with a fairly easy dog, I foun dthis extremely frustrating.
That said, I have a $ 100 credit that I will never use. Please comment of you would like me to transfer it to you. She does offer doggy day care, which should be safe from your pet being evicted since its not long term care.

Tish looked after our dog while we were in Hawaii for a week. We found Tish through Groupon and she lived around the corner from us. We had a great experience using Walk N Roll Pet Sitting. Tish arranged a meet and greet which left us satisfied that our dog would be well looked after while we were away. During our trip Tish emailed us an update and sent a picture which was great for the kids. The environment was also a bonus as the dogs played in the yard and slept uncaged. I bought a Groupon thinking I would be saving a ton of money for my upcoming expensive trip to Miami for dog boarding. I decided to take my dog here thinking that this would be a great place to take my dog on future trips before I go to LAX. Boy was I wrong…
I filled out the endless amount of paperwork online and even took my dog in for Tish to look at one weekend before my trip (after trying numerous times with my busy schedule to accommodate this). The day of my trip I dropped my dog Nacho off. Nacho is a 10 month old 20 pound beagle/​minature pin mix. He is used to seeing 20+ dogs per day on our walk everyday where I live (1 block from Runyan Canyon). He has never been aggressive with any dog. I then headed to LAX…
One hour later my buddy who I listed as my emergency contact calls me and says there is a problem. He asked me what this was all about. I wasn’t sure and figured he was injured. I then tried repeatedly to call Tish with no answer. All this about 1 hour from my once a year vacation. I then received an email from her that my dog was overly aggressive and to pick him up. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!
I scrambled to call all my friends to see who can watch my dog for 1 week. Nobody could. All my friends live about 1 hour + from Redondo and most have busy schedules to accommodate this. I emailed TIsh and let he know my dilemma and she responded by saying that it would be great if I can get him ASAP. WTF!
I finally called a service that would pick up my dog. (which I was charged) and paid about $ 70 per day. I ended up paying $ 70 for 5 days plus $ 60 for pick up for a total of $ 410. So much for my $ 70 Groupon and one day at $ 70 which Tish never refunded. I ended up paying $ 480 for my Dog during my vacation instead of $ 140. All because an owner of a dog sitting facility could not handle a 10 month old Min Pin/​Beagle mix. Apparently I am not the first this has happened to. Take a look at the reviews below… she also did this to somebody before a trip to Europe.
Imagine having to go through this before a trip that was intended to de-​stress from a crazy work schedule. I got onto the plane and had nobody set up to grab my dog. I got no sleep on my red eye flight and had to wait until 11AM Miami time before I could start calling places to pick my dog up to correspond with 8AM West Coast Time.
Tish should have denied me upon my first evaluation with my dog. Instead she decided to wait until it was difficult to arrange a change by turning him away just before my flight and after evaluating him twice (once a week prior and for about 15 minutes when I dropped him off). This is a terrible business and she often complained about the overload of business from Groupon. Note to Tish: If you cannot handle different dog breeds then find a different business. Maybe next time be more empathetic and answer the phone versus cowardly emailing and offer to refund any amount you have taken. If you do Groupon expect more business and by the way I am glad you will not get any of my future business.

They are the least professional people I have ever met! The lady TISH is a very horrible person and they shouldn’t be able to have a business licence of any kind.
We were leaving for a weekend and got Walk and Roll to dog sit for us. The girl AnneMarie have arrived for to get to know us and our dogs. She seemed like she is on some drugs…
On Saturday, the first day that we were gone, I have got a phone call from TISH saying to call her back. I have called her and she said that our doggies was barking and snapped at that AnneMarie girl and that they have made a decision to not come to our house again (even that we have already pre paid for 5 visits and WE WERE OUT OF TOWN).
So here we are fair away from our house not knowing what to do. We thought that we have hired a professional dog sitters not someone who would just leave our dog all alone and bridge the contract like that.
But that is not it!!! TISH IS SUCH A HORRIBLE PERSON that she have called the animal control to tell them that our dog have bit their employee and that our dogs have no TAGS! We could not believe it! What a mean awful person! So, I went to the Animal Control Place where I was informed that: Tish have called and reported our dog but she had no proof since there was NO SIGN OF A BITE! What a crazy horrifying person!
I called Tish, she didnt answer! What a surprise! I have called a few times and left her a couple of voice mails demanding my money back since she have not full filled the contract. Finally We went to the address that is listed as her business address to find out that TISH IS EVEN WORST IN PERSON! I have told her who I am and that I am there to ask for my money back. She have screamed at me saying that I am stocking her and she will call Police on me! WHAT??? She should be happy that I didn’t call police on her! We told her that we came to the address that is listed as her business, it was our first time ever there and that we just really want our money back. She told us that we will get our money back and that we shouldn’t be surprised when her employee takes us to court !! We left.
We haven’t received our money back.
I think that you are better of going with another company since those people are absolutely NOT PROFESSIONAL! NOT TRUSTFUL!!! AND NOT NICE!!!

We brought our dog for 3 days of boarding, after buying a Groupon. The dogs stay in a home. They get to sleep on dog beds or even a doggy couch and get to play in the fenced-​in backyard. Payment happens online through paypal, ahead of time (so pick-​up is really easy, no check book required). Tish was available by email and gave us a info about our dog while we were away. Drop off time is as early as 8am.
The only thing that’s a little cumbersome is the Boarding Contract and Assessment form. These are both Word documents that require editing, saving, and sending back to Tish. Is there anyway to turn this into a online form?

We used to live in Redondo Beach and would take our dog to Walk N Roll Pet Sitting for day care and we would also leave her there when we’d go on vacation. Her home is a much more comfortable environment for our dog. Tish loves our dog and you can tell she really cares!
Even though we moved about 30 miles away, we still take our dog to Tish when we are on vacation!

My fiancé and I were both scheduled to work on Superbowl Sunday and we didn’t want to leave our little pug Chaka home alone all day so we called Tish at Walk N Roll to see if she had a space available for Chaka. We were in luck that Tish was available and was able to accommodate us on such short notice. Upon meeting Tish for the first time the Saturday before, I knew that we had made a great decision. Tish was so sweet and it was clear that she is exceptionally knowledgeable about pet care. She also has a darling black pug named DaVinci and that was an added bonus because Chaka would have an opportunity to make a new pug friend! On Superbowl Sunday we dropped Chaka off and had a great talk with Tish and she assured us that she would keep us posted throughout the day about how Chaka was doing, which she did, and even sent us some photos of Chaka from the day. This morning when I went to pick up Chaka he was certainly a happy boy! And Tish let me know that he behaved himself very well and gave me some tips on how to help with his separation anxiety. Now, Chaka is taking a little nap as I am sure he is tired from all of the fun he had with Tish, DaVinci and Maddie. I will absolutely be using Tish’s services in the future and will highly recommend her to my friend’s that may need pet care services too. Thank you, Tish! Chaka and I will see you very soon!

I’ve been using Tish for a year and a half for walking as well as boarding. I would definitely recommend her. She is easy to communicate with and you can tell loves dogs. Her house is extremely clean and she likes to run a organzied ship which I appreciate. My dogs are already a handful and it is nice to know that it won’t be a chaotic environment where they are staying.

My husband and I needed a place for our pups over the holidays. I had seen Walk N Roll Pet Sitting online previously and felt that it might be a good fit for us. Tish’s home is a perfect place for our dogs as it’s a similar set up to our home environment. Therefore, it was an extremely easy transition and they had a wonderful time with plenty of other dogs to play with during their stay. They even received a holiday present upon their departure. We will definitely use Walk N Roll again in the future. Thanks for everything Tish!

We had our 4 month old Shih Tzu stay with Tish for 6 nights while we were away on vacation. We really liked the fact that he would be staying in a home setting and not just locked up in a kennel all day.
Tish was very easy to communicate with. Drop off and pick up was easily arranged.
I would definitely use her again and would recommend her to anyone looking to board their pet.

We used Tish for a second time for just one of our pups while we went out of town in October.
Our super shy chihuahua was all «tails a waggin’» when we picked her up.
Tish is great, it was easy to set up drop off and pick up, and when I picked up our baby she was happy as can be! It’s great that the dogs are in a home setting, so it’s not so traumatic when mommy and daddy travel.

Tish left us stranded the morning when we were supposed to drop off our dogs before a Europe trip. She sent an e-​mail at 3AM the morning of, not sure who checks their e-​mail at 3am! She said her sister was in an accident. Of course not having checked my e-​mail we got to her house and she wasn’t there, there were dogs barking, although she told me there would be someone there 24hours a day. I kept calling her and she wouldn’t answer her phone because she didn’t have blue tooth, but ironically could text while driving. Sorry about her sister but I wouldn’t trust her with my plants! She pretty much ruined our vacation, too bad because she seemed nice, but glad never left my dogs with her in the first place, as she would just take off and leave them alone in an emergency.

Tish was so great with our 18 month Yorkie! We’ve NEVER left him before with anybody besides our own family, and were very nervous about the idea of leaving him for 6 days straight while we were on vacation, but Tish made him feel comfortable from the beginning. During our consultation with her she set us at ease by letting us check out her dog friendly facility, and brought out her extremely friendly pug to meet and play with our Yorkie, which made our puppy VERY happy! While we were on vacation Tish was kind enough to e-​mail us updates and let us know how our puppy was doing; she genuiniely cares about the well being of all of the dogs she cares for and we were able to enjoy our vacation with no worries since our Yorkie was in such great hands! We highly recommend Walk N Roll!
