5 stars that go to Dave the mechanic at this Arco location. He’s a TRUST WORTHY mechanic that knows how to work his magic. Great prices, service and easy to get same week appointments with in his full service shop. Take your car troubles to Dave and he’ll tackle it like a BOSS.
As for the gas station, convenient location with good gas prices + a small beverage/​snack selection inside. If it’s not vegan, don’t even waste your time ;)
I generally never have to wait in a constipated car line for my turn. Pull up, fill er’ up and vroom. Boom! I once overfilled my gas tank here and literally got a blast of gas all over me like a super soak sprinkler … turnt up at Arco. That’s a whole different story…

It may not be pretty, but it’s always one of the cheapest places for gas around. It is in a safe location at a major intersection of Woodside and Hudson. You will frequently find gang tags on the pumps or on the base of the pump islands. I usually just use the pump based ATM. When I have had to go inside, the service help is sterile: neither friendly nor incompetent. They get the job done. They do have the standard small store of somewhat overpriced snacks, etc. But, like I said, if you’re looking for consistently cheap gas, this is the place to go!

last week i locked my keys, purse, and cell phone in my car while i was here. the lady inside let me use her phone multiple times and let me hang out inside for an hour while i waited for my spare set of keys to get dropped off. she was so nice to me, i couldnt thank her enough!

The lady here is fucking horrible. Patrick O tried to pump gas at this place literally 20 minutes ago, and when he tried to pay, the lady blatantly wouldn’t give him the time of day and replied with, «CLOSED CLOSED CLOSED»
Yes, with that kind of succession. It didn’t even sound like she put a period at the end of her sentence.
I’m pretty sure the extent of her English included, «Go away» and «CLOSED»

The people who work here are extremely nice, and obviously know about the value of customer service. The gas is cheap. Minus one star, because I hate to wait for a pump, and because of the cheap prices, I often do have to wait (I wish they were bigger, with more pumps). Also, it is hard to get back onto Hudson St. because of the traffic. With all that said, they are still the go to gas station in the area.

To be honest, I don’t come here as much now that I usually go to Costco to get my gas. But this place is a godsend when I’m running late and suddenly realize I’ve got an empty tank, and don’t want to wait for 5 minutes in the Costco line, or pay a fortune at the Chevron (and I can’t even use the Shell now that it’s out of business).
I love this particular Arco just because Reetu is consistently super duper nice, and has been for the many years I’ve been living in the RC.
And I love saying his name. Reetu!

I like you because you give me cheap gas. Cheap gas for my guzzling car that only gets 200 miles per tank and only accepts 91 octane. DAMN CAR! My choice in picking it, yes I get it. Regardless, its always busy here and sometimes finding a tank can be annoying, but its almost always about the cheapest gas in town and right on my way to the freeway a lot of the time. Getting out of the parking lot back on Hudson… that can be painful.
