Benz Collision Center

This is the fourth time we’ve had one of our cars repaired at Benz Collision Center in Redwood City. As always, the work is excellent, the pricing very fair and the people nice to work with. On-​time as well. I hope we don’t need to go there as often … but if we do need body work this is the one and only place we will go. Highly recommended.

Moe is the best! He bent over backwards regarding the accident I was in and did a beautiful job!

If I had to pick one word to describe the repair, it would be FANTASTIC! I accidentally scratched and dented my car in my garage, and my friend recommended Mohammad at Benz Collision Center. The price was great, service was quick, friendly — in all, a great experience! I would absolutely recommend Benz Collision Center to anyone looking for an auto body repair shop!

I owe Mo two Unilocal reviews, one for body panel repair covered by insurance (early 2013) and one for pre-​sale windshield replacement and rear bumper repair (early 2014). Workmanship was great with the covered repair, but the real kicker was when I paid out of my own pocket for the pre-​sale repairs — Mo’s quote was by far the lowest, and once again he delivered on the workmanship. Though I now live in San Mateo, I would still go back to him for bodywork.

Mohammed does excellent work. Great customer service — always easy to get in touch with someone. I will recommend Benz Collision to anyone I know in need of a body shop!

This review has been long overdue.
My family started taking our cars, Jaguar, Mercedes, Volvo, Pathfinder, Lexus, Honda and Toyota, to Mohammad for body repair over 25 years ago and there have been countless occasions when we needed his service. Fortunately, after each accident, we only have to drop off the car at Benz and leave with the peace of mind that Mohammad and his staff will take care of the aftermath for us, from arranging for a rental car, dealing with insurance claim, to finally returning an immaculately restored car to us. The service Mohammad and his staff provide is always humble, honest, and professional. I am very glad that we found Mohammad those many years ago.

It’s been a while since i’ve been here and I am still convinced this is the best shop in the world!
I was involved in a major accident and my car was a total loss — someone cut me off in SF and they totaled their car too. The insurance was taking over 60 days to settle the claim, and the car sat at the shop without any pressure.
Benz Collision reserved a loaner car for me, and told me to use it without having to worry about the insurance or the car and that they will take care of the rest. My car sat in their storage, and they let me go back and forth getting things as I needed without a problem.
The insurance was very happy to work with Benz, they said they are one of the oldest and best body shops to work with in the area. I am not surprised to hear that from them especially after going through a nightmare.
I hope I don’t end up having to fix anymore cars, but I will definitely be back if so!
P. S., their Coffee is really good. make sure Moe makes a cup for you!

my C300 was hit on the driverside door in the parking lot — hit&go!
I took it to several body shops, including big names –Cook’s etc.
They told me door is not repairabl and will require a complete door replacement +$ 3000.Benzcollision handled everything for less than $ 1500 and gave me a free rental! they were very helpful in explaining me the repair and gave me 5 year warranty!
my car looks like new now! no evidence of any damage.
I def. recommend BenzCollision.

I took my Mercedes to Benz to get repairs on my rear bumper and trunk lid. I received a reasonable estimate on a Friday and took the car in for the work on the following Monday. The car was ready for pick-​up on Thursday afternoon. The repairs were flawless. The car looks brand new! I could not have asked for a better experience!

I went to Benz Collision Center as I had a minor car accident and needed to get the rear bumper fixed. The owner, Mohamad, was very kind and made the entire process very pleasant and easy. He noticed more damages than what was on the estimate, dealt with the insurance company, arranged for my car rental and finished the entire job in 3 days! There was no additional cost for me either.
His team did an excellent job with the repair and the bumper looks brand new. They even cleaned my dirty car and I got it back all clean inside and out. If you are looking for someone honest, respectful and professional to fix your car, this is the place. I highly recommend Benz Collision Center.

These guys are true professionals! Nice and caring for my needs. I had gotten my SLK for a grad present. So it was new and in perfect condition. until some moron who wasn’t paying attention rear-​ended me. my bumper was smashed in and tail like was coming off. I was told about this place from my insurance adviser. And i’m so glad they told me. I had no out of pocket cost since my the idiots insurance was covering it and i got my baby back looking better than new. But after seeing the job and care they put into there work i’ed come back even if i had to pay out of pocket. we’ll worth it.

I went to Mohammad to have my Audi repaired. I had a dent and scratch on the side of my car that had been there for over 2 months. Becuase I commute down from the city to Palo Alto daily, I never had time to get the dent repaired. I finally made it over to Benz. I called in advance and asked whether they could turn around a job quickly so i wouldn’t need to bother coworkers for a ride.
Mohammad and his team did a great job. The car was returned to me the following day and the panel had been repaired, painted, and the car had been washed! I was very impressed and could not be happier with the work. Great job, highly recommended.

My experience with Benz Auto Collision was Fantastic!!! Although my car is not a Benz they were still able to repair my car quickly and thoroughly. They provided outstanding customer service and at the same time were extremely cost effective. My car now looks and runs like NEW! I am VERY satisfied with their services and would not hesitate to use them again in the future or recommend them to anyone that may need any auto body or mechanical work! So I managed to do some significant damage to my Bimmer; the front bumper was completely ruined and sheared off the car while the rear bumper was crunched.
Now I am absolutely obsessed with my car so I’m wary of who I let work on it. Benz had high reviews on Unilocal and was approved by my insurance so I had it sent there.
To make things hard for them, I had custom fog deletes, OEM turn lenses, an upgraded water pump, low-​temp thermostat, and a high-​capacity radiator sent to them. Things got lost in the mail and I had to give them specific instructions about the aftermarket parts on my car, but they took it all in stride and were very patient with my ridiculous requests.
I’m currently away on business so I haven’t seen the final result in person, but now it looks better than it did before I got in my accident (at least in pictures)!
I’ll give them 4 stars just because I haven’t seen it in person yet. If when I get back it’s actually as good as it looks, this’ll go up to 5 stars.

:UPDATE: I discovered that my external ambient temperature sensor wasn’t working after I got the car home (BMW did a really shoddy job of designing those things in the first place) and told them about it. They said they’d fix it for me! It’s not that hard to fix, but if it means I don’t have to crawl under my car and deal with splicing wires I will definitely appreciate it!
4.75 stars only because I still haven’t seen it in person (my friend told me about the sensor).

I just picked up my SUV today and I must say all the reviews here are absolutely true! Mohammad is such a wonderful owner very willing to help his customers! I am going back to this place if I need any of my car’s body worked on! I was so afraid that my car wouldn’t look the way it used to before the crash, but it is better! Their shop even painted the left door panel of my car where there was a glaring scratch FREE OF CHARGE! And Mohammad didn’t even mention it when I picked up my car.
So you really do get the best service here. I will recommend this place to
all my coworkers and friends for sure!
BTW, he sounds very mellow on the phone but he really is a great guy. Very calm personality and keeps his promises. He DOES CARE! He finished my car early! =)

have had several cars repaired here and has sent many referrals on over, all with good results. So if you want quality work delivered with good customer service go see them!

They were great. Some guy scratched my bumper parallel parking, and Benz worked with my insurance company and helped me get my rental car. They were fast and did great work, My car looks brand new. Their prices were on par with local places for the same job (I priced them out before deciding to use my insurance). Also, everyone there is really nice.

Mohammad Dababo, the owner, has given us excellent service on 2 different occasions. He is fair, he sticks to his estimate, even if it turns out to be more work or involve complications not originally anticipated. He even works on Saturday, does estimates without an appointment while you wait. Very fair – will definitely go to him again (tho hope I don’t have to!)
And lovely bonus: when we picked the car up, it was professionally cleaned – as well as when we go to Lozano’s and pay about $ 10 with discount for a complete wash inside & out.
