Clarifying Waters

Both my husband and myself started coming here recently. Maritza is very knowledgeable, and she completely put us at ease. With something like a colonic it is very important that you feel comfortable and we were made very comfortable by Maritza’s calming energy. Neither one of us had any experience with this up until now. We were able to be in the room with each other during each treatment which really helped both of us feel very comfortable. I’m not sure what other people are talking about as far as not being able to reach Maritza. My husband was able to reach her and get a next day appointment, which happened to be New Year’s eve. Before leaving we made our next appointment. I actually have noticed that Maritza will answer her cell phone if possible even during a treatment. This could be a good or a bad thing… But she did it appropriately. She doesn’t seem to have a front office person as this is a very small business, but when you’re in her presence she completely dedicates her time and attention to you, except for the answering of the occasional phone call. I hope whatever kinks there might have been with scheduling for other clients has been cleared up because this is truly and exceptional place.

Maritza is a scam artist. I purchased a session through Groupon. It was very hard to get a hold of her, but was finally able to get an appointment. After my initial appointment, I decided to purchase a package of 10 colonics. That was in March of 2015. I have yet to be able to get a hold of her, never answers her phone, or never responds to my text messages. I spent several hundred dollars in advance for these colonics that I have yet to receive. I am now filing a dispute with my credit card company. Interesting how she is either getting 1 star or 5 stars on here. Is this to say then that she picks and chooses who she is going to get back to, or give services to even after they’ve paid? Shady shady shady. Shame on you.

I have called 12 times now to make an appointment after purchasing a Groupon. Every time it went to voice mail and the mailbox was full. I even went to their Facebook page and sent an email, with no response. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Aweful way to run a business.

I have had fantastic results and have truly come to think of Marizza (owner) as a friend. Colonics are definitely not glamorous and you are in a very vulnerable position (literally and figuratively). Marizza is very in tune with her clients and makes the experience as comfortable as possible. She is extremely knowledgeable and only wants the absolute best results for everyone. She suggested a probiotic for me and the day I went to purchase them I had forgotten the name of the brand so I texted her (on a Sunday) and within 3 minutes she was calling my phone with the information I had asked for. I’d like to say that I feel amazing since starting colonic therapy. Most notable, other than great digestive results, are that my headaches have ceased. I have always been v prone to all flavors of headaches and have Advil on hand in every room in my house, as well as my car and my handbag. I haven’t had a headache in several months now. That is amazing for me. I highly recommend a good round of colonics for wellness and well-​being. Releasing the toxins in our bodies is one of the best ways to achieve health and rid ourselves of various discomforts. Marizza knows her stuff and she can help you feel light on your feet again and better than ever.

Don’t ever, ever chose this business, they suck so bad. Bought a living social deal, but I tried calling them a few times and they never answer, goes straight to voicemail which is full that you can’t even leave a message. Even I got the chance, I left a voice message, they never got back to me. Good thing living social refunded my purchase.

I just had my first colonic at Clarifying Waters and found Marizza extremely knowledgeable, kind and professional. I was totally comfortable and already scheduled another appointment!

I came across this living social voucher for this business’s colonic service. I was excited because I live in redwood city and wanted to find a local place to get my colonics done. I called several times and left messages. I couldn’t get in touch with the staff to schedule an appointment. That’s a significant red flag.
Its important to be able to contact and communicate with a business to schedule an appointment, confirm an appointment, reschedule/​cancel an appointment or be able to talk to someone if you have any question or concerns that are not addressed in the website.
Lack of communication falls under customer service care and it made be wonder about the rest of their customer service practices. I ended up having to ask Living Social for a refund because I did not hear back from the owner/​manager and my voucher was about to expire. Its too bad as I was hoping this could become my colonic go to place.

I very much enjoyed my colonic treatment at Clarifying Waters. This was my first treatment ever, and Maritza made me feel very comfortable, relaxed, and just a nice all around personality. I definitely am looking forward to going back for more treatments, she is definitely someone you wamt to go to. 2 thumbs up & 5 stars :) :) :)
