E.C.A. Iron Works

This is actually a review of an ECA employee who was driving recklessly today 12÷28÷15 at 1:15pm. He tore out of a gas station at the corner of Charleston & San Antonio almost hitting one car and forcing another driver to slam on their brakes. That driver honked for obvious reasons. The ECA employee proceeded to harass that driver by swerving and attempting to force her out of her lane. The employee continued aggressively south on Charleston, then got on southbound 101. It was a very scary thing to watch. I wouldn’t use a company with such a deranged employee.

E.C.A. Iron Works provides a level of customer service that you just don’t see very often. Eddie came out the same day we called and gave us an estimate. He has a genuine concern for customer satisfaction and an unbelievable attention to detail. They really know their business and are true professionals. You did a beautiful job. Unfortunately, I could not even get this outfit to prepare an estimate for my San Francisco home. I called last week and they were all, «Yeah! Send us a photo and we’ll get back to you.» So I sent the photo and my address as requested. Three days later, there being no response, I texted a second time, asking if an estimate could be prepared. Again, no response. So they failed at the outset. I’m glad I did not invest any more time with this company.

Called Eddie for a quick weld of a broken off finial for my side gate. He just happened to be in my town and came by within 15 min (very responsive but prob don’t expect a 15 min turnaround normally). He gave me a quick and reasonable estimate and welded back the finial within 5 min. What a good guy. Will use him again.

I called Eddie, on Thursday afternoon, and we coordinated that he could come that very same day, to do the job. He asked me to text him a picture of the job, and he gave me an immediate quote.
He arrived with a helper and was courteous, professional and helpful. The job was completely quickly and to my specifications. In my case, I had an automatic gate where the opener had broken loose from the upright and Eddie repaired the damage and reinforced the mounting tab, to prevent future problems.
He offered that I should call him if I had any issues with the work done, or additional work was required. If that ever happens, I’ll take him up on that offer.

Eddie came by almost immediately after I called to look at my property and gave me a quote on the spot. We narrowed down the work as the project progressed and he was very good about keeping everything including the pricing very clear. He did everything he said he would on schedule and on budget. ECA Iron Works delivered a perfect custom made iron gate for my driveway area and did it on the date committed to and exactly on the price he quoted. He came by two weeks after completion to make sure everything was working perfectly. Eddie and his team are very professional and are fantastic to work with.

Called Eddie to fix our outside gate that had completely fallen down due to weather damage. After texting him a few pictures of the gate, Eddie arrived within an hour with all the right supplies and got right to work. He reattached the gate and made it even more secure than it was before. Couldn’t be happier with the results, timeliness, and price! Will definitely call Eddie if I need any work in the future!

Hired Eddie to fabricate some iron railings for our balcony. We happened to come across his company after reaching out to some local companies in our area that did not return our calls. Eddie promptly answered our calls and worked with us to address our needs. The railings that were fabricated exceeded our expectations and even were completed much sooner than promised. We are extremely pleased and will look to him if we have any future needs. Thank you ECA.

Eddie installed a beautiful iron gate at my house. When I originally called, he came quickly and gave me a reasonable quote. A week later, the gate was ready and Eddie came o install it. Very professional crew, they installed the gate with great care and cleaned after themselves. I am 100% satisfied! Eddie is your guy if you need a gate!

Called Eddie yesterday because our gate has been broken for about 6 months. He came out today, fixed it and it works now! AND, the price was right. I’ll call him again if needed.

Due to a safety concern after a fall, we determined we had an urgent need for a railing to be installed at our residence. We interviewed several «iron works» companies and almost immediately settled on ECA after meeting Eddie on site. He responded quickly and understood our need for a high quality job. After measuring and studying the area of concern, and after listening to our design request (based on the design of a railing located elsewhere on our property), he proposed what we believed to be a reasonable price and a speedy fabrication and installation schedule. Best of all, ECA met our expectations and delivered a really great end result in just a few days. We are very happy. In case anyone is interested in seeing what they did for us, I have posted photos of the white (powder coated) metal railing ECA made and installed at our home.

Eddie was fantastic! He was very quick to respond and come out to look at the project. I found Eddie to be knowledgeable, considerate and reasonably priced. He did a beautiful job on a difficult staircase! I would definitely use him again!

Eddie of ECA Iron works was quick to respond to my inquiry for installing handrails on my front porch and an entry at the side of the house. His estimate seemed reasonable, and he finished the work in a little over a week (very quick considering he rough welded the ironwork on site and then took it back to his shop to finish and powder coat. He offers a large selection of paint colors to choose from.
He even put caps at the base where the vertical supports fasten to the concrete steps. This gives a very clean look with no mounting bolts showing. Overall, the finished product looks great, and reflects quality workmanship.

Phenomenal experience! Eddie was great to work with. Called him on a holiday, he made it out to check out the automatic gate, quoted an extremely reasonable price, and had it fixed before noon he next day!
Cannot say enough about how pleasantly surprised and appreciative I was with the whole experience. Not to mention the quality work, I think the gate operates better now than it did before.

I have a double metal gate in the back for my driveway, about 10 feet wide and 6 feet high. Part of the right gate was coming apart from the anchors in the concrete pillar it was attached to. Whoever had installed this gate had installed it incorrectly according to a few people I talked to; all said that the anchors they had used were the wrong ones. Both Eddie and another company suggested the same fix: weld L brackets to the gate pillars and anchor those to the concrete using the right expanding anchors to ensure that it was a strong attachment and didn’t sag or lean. There was also an issue with one gate scraping the driveway and not opening properly. Plus concern that correcting the gate would widen the center gap and render the latch and deadbolt unusable.
Eddie was very quick to study the situation, come with a plan (L brackets, a spacer steel beam to keep the gap the same etc), and a very reasonable estimate right on the spot. He and Victor worked diligently for a few hours and fixed it properly. If you need anything involving steel and concrete, these guys rock!

I called Eddie at 10am to get a quote for modifying a wrought iron handrail and fence in my Spanish-​style house. he came, gave me a very reasonable quote so I said go ahead and do it. I thought it would take a day but he was done, cleaned up and job done perfectly by 1pm. service doesn’t get any better than this! Needless to say, Eddie will be doing all the iron work in my home!

Eddie added a new exterior fence and gate to my property. I called other companies for bids, and they didn’t respond.
Eddie came, designed the gate and the fence, and installed it all within a week.
He is very professional and competent, and takes great pride in his work. I’d use E.C. A Ironworks again on my next project needing ironwork!

Usually the saying you get what you pay for hold true, but not in this case. I called ECA Iron works as well as a couple other companies to see about putting in a custom handrail for some stairs leading up to my house. ECA was significantly cheaper than the other companies I had out plus I liked the work he showed me so I decided to go with them. Paid them half on Friday and the handrail was completed and installed on Tuesday. Looks great and we are extremely happy with the work.
