We now provide a unique service on the Peninsula: The HOME BUYER’s INSPECTION. Consider: most homes receive an ‘inspection’ from a certified individual. They typically spend about an hour looking at the home, they have a whole list of things they never turn on or test, and they give you a mostly useless report on the home. At EmeraldECO we believe that when you are buying a home, and investing the rather large sum it takes to do that in this area, you should know a lot more about the house. You should know what doesn’t work, what is going to fail in a year. Where they missed installing insulation, which rooms are not going to be comfortable (and why), what the power bill is likely to be, and on and on. Does our service cost more than a typical home inspection? Absolutely. It is also well worth the investment. We understand intimately how houses ‘work’, why they don’t and how to fix them.
