Love the convenience! Not to mention the SUPER friendly staff who ALWAYS welcome my German shepherd Karma :) my go-to weekend coffee place. PS Karma loves the dog cookies!

The coffee just wasn’t very good, and the people that I interacted with were pretty rude. I came because the reviews are great, and I love finding new coffee places. Maybe they were having a bad day, but my experience was terrible.

Been coming to this café for a very long time! Customer service is great here, they are fast know your order(when you become that basic usual) lol… If you are a newbie they will do an awesome job to accommodate your order — everything is customizable! Pastries run out quickly in the am but aside from that really solid spot. Great for a quick pick up through there drive way!

I used to come everyone morning for a white mocha because these people are so much faster than Starbucks. But their flavored red bulls are what keep me coming back. Love the idea of picking any flavor I want and adding it to a red bull. All the staff is so pleasant and super quick with getting your order. Definitely a must go if you need a quick drink.

I love this place I’m a little sad though that they still do not have the piña colada smoothie. The last couple of times I came they haven’t had it. I decided to get the strawberry and banana smoothie with non fat yogurt which is perfect for this hot day Robert was a great help thanks!

I had always been skeptical to try drive-thru coffee, but visiting Espresso Lane several months ago was a great decision! Quality espresso, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Extremely broad menu with lots of great combinations to try out; their fruit shakes are excellent! Pastries tend to go quick in the morning, however there’s always the donut shop right down the street.

Been coming here now for several years! When I drive up, they already have my order going. Very friendly staff. Delicious coffee. Way better than Starbucks.

I have been an espresso lane customer for yearssss(like since 2001!) I have to say that the drinks over the years have stayed pretty consistent. You know what you’re getting and the service is always good. I think in all the years I have been going here I have only had a negative encounter with an espresso lane employee one time years ago! That’s pretty good considering how many millions of times I have been here! :) I do have to say though when I was there last week I had to ask the girl to use fresh milk from the fridge because the milk was sitting out on the counter and was to the side of the espresso machine… kind of like it had just been sitting there for awhile… hours maybe? eek. I freaked a little cuz honestly who knows for how long it had been out, as they are not as busy as bigger coffee shops. I mentioned something to the girl and she was extremely sweet and got me fresh milk from the fridge without hesitation and I really appreciated it! She could have been rude and said, no it’s fresh or whatever and she didn’t. Thank you espresso lane barista! I appreciate your helpfulness. :) But anyway, drinks are good. service is good and the drive thru is SO convenient, especially when you have a kid! Wish they would open other locations! That would be awesome! Keep up the good work espresso lane!

I’ll make this quick. The batista didn’t know about the flavors of his espresso. I would think he would be able to tell me about the flavor notes of the beans they use. My cup has espresso dripping off the side and it was given to me in a paper cup. Also, my espresso had enough water to make 2.5 single shots. Am I being spoiled? Possibly. Would I come back? No. But, that doesn’t mean that the espresso didn’t taste like an espresso, because it did, and the service was quick.

I don’t come here very often, but I’m always happy when I do. The staff is one of the nicest group of people I have met and they keep me coming back, I always tip more here than any other coffee shop. The drive thru is convenient and the service is still great despite this. The coffee is good enough– mostly when I come here I treat myself to a vanilla latte or something similar, they’re always good quality, nice foam, hot milk and yummy vanilla flavor. I like supporting smaller shops and this is definitely one of the good ones! The prices are rather high compared to the larger coffee companies but that is what comes with supporting the mom and pop shops!

I’ve been driving by this place on my way to work every day for the last six months, suspicious of the concept of «drive through espresso». However, I took a chance, and I’m glad I did. Espresso Lane makes a solid latte, lightening fast, without requiring you to even park your car. The quality of the coffee is better than Starbucks and on par with Peets — and their drive through set-up is enormously convenient to anyone who needs to zip down Woodside on their daily commute.

I have been to this place for regular coffee and iced coffee for a couple of years on and off. However I felt like a change this past weekend and asked for one of their drinks off of the very«loud» sign promoting their lemonades. When I asked the cashier looked at the sign and said«oh, we don’t actually make those, I don’t have the ingredients for them»… Long pause with a blank stare on her face and then I ask for a different iced frappé beverage I saw on another sign above her head, yet again«oh we’ve actually never made those». When I asked why she still had the sign up since they don’t offer any of these she didn’t have a response. Only good thing about this place is the location(and their flavored red bulls are pretty good).

This place rocks my socks. I either walk up or drive thru 2 – 4 times a week for YEARS now. I’ve NEVER had a bad customer service experience. ((Shout out to Hailey!!)) Most of the staff there know my order before I get to the window, but will still ask if that is what I’d like(BIG plus, I hate feeling like I have to order the same thing). I don’t order anything complicated other than half the amount of flavor syrup that normally goes into the drink size I order(regular/small). The owner works the window sometimes and he is a cool dude, Carlos. If you got a problem, let him know. Don’t be that whiney wimp that hides behind Unilocal, complaining about irrelevant things. If you are looking for ambience, or are super coffee snobby about your foam, this probably isn’t your spot. Move on. If you want good coffee on the go, you HAVE to try this place. PS– Tip: BRINGYOUROWNMUG! They will discount ya ;)

It’s difficult to say too much about Espresso Lane, since I have only been once to get a small coffee. I definitely like the drive-through caffeine concept. Service was fine — about what I would expect. Cost was $ 1.55, abut the same as everywhere else. Coffee was just OK, though a bit too light a roast for me.(Yawn…sorry, I’m just bored by my own review). Unfortunately the location is not that convenient for me on weekday mornings. Still, It is nice to know they have fro-yo(thanks Fro-yo girl!). I might have to stop by and check that out for myself someday soon.

Fro-yo girl here. I’ve driven by this place tons of times and have been vaguely interested because it’s a drive-thru coffee place. One day I saw a big banner proclaiming that they now serve frozen yogurt! My heart started beating faster… I pulled up to the drive-thru window. I started asking many questions and the owner(I assume) seemed suspicious. He thought I might be a fro-yo shop owner. In reality I just wanted more information for my fellow fro-yoholics. This has happened to me more than once! Perhaps I sounded too interested? Perhaps I looked too interested? Probably both. They have four flavors a day and they rotate(call if you want to know what they have that day). Today they had sweet vanilla, sweet chocolate, blueberry tart, and vanilla tart(he called it vanilla tart — but I’m used to calling it plain or original tart). The flavors aren’t posted and you can’t see the fresh fruit toppings either(but they have some — like strawberries, pineapple, etc.), so that’s a nuisance. I like to inspect the freshness of the fruit because I’m afraid of getting overripe, syrupy, or frozen fruit. Dry toppings include cookies, chips, nuts and granola. * Mini: $ 2.50/Small: $ 3/Medium: $ 3.95/Large: $ 4.95 * Toppings: $ 1 each, no quantity discount You can get two flavors swirled together in one cup. It was very cool to have drive-thru fro-yo, but he didn’t give me a lid, so the fro-yo fell over in the car and I almost had a car accident because of it. I had the small blueberry and plain/vanilla tart with mochi balls($ 4). The portion is definitely small. The mini must be unbelievably small. I couldn’t really taste the vanilla/plain tart at all perhaps because the blueberry tart had a strong flavor and they were swirled together. It was decent, definitely on the icy side(but not to the point that it really bothered me) and soft. It could use more creaminess and more yogurt tanginess. Oh and they open at 4:30AM, and you can get fro-yo at that hour! They also have various coffee drinks, bagels, pastries and smoothies. I know where to go if I need fro-yo at 4:30AM. Credit cards accepted. You know you love me. X0X0, fro-yo girl.
