Seasonal forestry firefighter for multiple concurrent years. Now bringing my experience to tree services. Grew up on an apple orchard with 56 acres to trim, so have been in this business my whole life!

Licensed Faller, so can help with removing large tress, several hundred feet high.

I had a great experience with Firefighter Tree Service. They came out, gave me an on-​the-​spot estimate, came back within 36 hours and did the job! They also include grinding a trunk, etc, and purposely don’t nickel and dime you (Dennis said he doesn’t like to do that — it’s appreciated)! Highly recommend!

Dennis and his crew are the best. Faced with a very difficult and dangerous challenge with a sizable oak tree that threatened to fall on our home, Dennis’ team came to the rescue in a pouring rain storm. They were professional and moved swiftly to take control of the situation. They were very sensitive to the impact to our landscaping. Their pricing was quite fair and they also did a great job cleaning up too! We recommend them highly!

Called them on a Sunday in the middle of pouring rain. A tree fell and was blocking 5 houses in a cul de sac. They came within 20 minutes to check the situation. Within 2 hours, the tree was cut up and out of the way. They seemed reasonably priced and very trustworthy. Provided us a great deal of peace and we could move on with our day! Thanks!

One of the trunks from my tree fell last night at midnight during heavy rains and gusty winds and missed my house by a few feet. Whew!!. Two trunks from the same tree were still up but the bigger trunk was leaning towards my neighbor’s property. I called Firefighter Tree Service around 7:30 Sunday morning and Dennis was very prompt to answer. He was in my house in 10 minutes as he promised. He looked at the remaining trunks and recommended that the whole tree be taken down as the trunks are unstable. He gathered up his crew and was back in the house around 8:30. The whole team went to work right away. There were all very efficient, professional, courteous and the team worked very fast. At around 10;15 they were done including clean-​up. Thank you so much to Dennis and to your crew for responding so quickly to our emergency situation. Highly recommended! You guys are great to work with!

Dennis was very prompt in responding to our call. We had an emergency situation with a tree that was threatening to fall on our house. He moved things around to come as soon as possible, assess the tree and start the removal process within hours of our call. He was also great about talking with our insurance company to help them understand that the tree was ‘sick’ and had to come down ASAP. We really appreciated his professional service and quick response:)

Called Firefighter tree service and they offered to provide an estimate the same day. It was late in the day so I had them come the next business day. The offered a reasonable estimate for a difficult removal. We scheduled the removal and it was done, complete with all debris taken away, on time. I didn’t realize it was an emergency due to the location and impingement and property damage! Would definitely use them again. Great guys to work with!

We had a fallen tree from last night’s rain, and we couldn’t have found any better rescue than Dennis and his team under the rather unfortunate circumstance. He picked up my call on a Saturday morning and showed up within 20 minutes! After a quick but thorough estimate, which is very reasonable, he returned with a crew of 8 people! They worked seamlessly as a team, and got the big tree removed completely in no time. They were very professional and mindful about collateral damages. Dennis is just a great guy. Being a former firefighter (hence the business name), he is very honest, knowledgable and equipped with all the right tools and machines. Our neighbors watching them got so impressed and immediately hired them to work on their tree as well. We highly recommend Firefighter Tree Service and will definitely use them for any future tree job.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time… Dennis is awesome. He is prompt, fair, and does a great job. I have a tree line of Laurels in my backyard that needs trimming each year. It’s a big job and very easy to mess up. (The line across the top needs to be straight, or it’s noticeable!) Dennis and his team get it right every time! I would definitely recommend Dennis to anyone who wants a job done right at a fair price.

Dennis and his team did a great job removing a dying tree from our backyard. I called multiple places and either got voicemail or estimates weeks away. Dennis picked up on the first call, got my information and offered to come by same day to provide an estimate. His estimate was very competitive and within one day, my tree was removed and the stump was grinded. They did it all in 45 min and removed everything from my property.
I would highly recommend Firefighter Tree Service. Dennis was very personable and professional and so was his team.

Dennis and his team came over to remove a pepper tree in the front of my house. The job took only two hours including grinding up the stump and clean up. They also trim another tree for us.

These guys were awesome. I called mid-​morning for a tree trimming, and they blew away my expectations!
I left a message and expected to hear back and schedule an estimate for a week or so later… but no, this team delivered. Dennis came by and provided an estimate 2 hours after I called, and the entire job was done mid-​afternoon THE SAME DAY at a very reasonable rate. VERY professional, tree looks great, and property was cleaned to perfection.

Dennis has not yet completed our job of grinding out several acacia tree stumps. It’s been months. Promised he’d come back and finish the job. He was paid in full for a job half done. My mistake there. I’m still waiting.

Dennis is an absolute pro. I called several places and Dennis got back to me very quickly and followed up when I couldn’t call him back right away. He arrived early for the free estimate. His estimate was very competitive and he got the job done the next day in less time than initially estimated. His crew cleaned up completely.
Just great to work with a person who does exactly what he says he’s going to do and then some.

This review is long overdue. Dennis and his crew are absolutely awesome. He responds promptly, is available at short notice and punctual. We had him take out a wild acacia tree and prune a couple others and he did a fantastic job quickly and with great attitude. His proces were also very competitive. Fast forward a few months later, we noticed out avocado tree was not looking good at all. I emailed him and a few minutes later got a call back and Dennis offered to drop by that same evening to take a look. He offered us great advice and didn’t charge a dime. Highly recommend and will definitely call him again in the future.

We had to take down our 46 year old cedar tree. The roots had begun to encroach on the house foundation.
Dennis knows his business. Everything went just as he said. They were here on time. They finished right when they said would. The crew were polite, neat, and hard workers. I do have to mention one of the guys carries 200lb trunks around. What a bull. When they left it was as if no one had been here, except my trees were gone.
If you have an issue with your trees, call Dennis, he does it all.
