HAND is an all-volunteer organization offering support to parents who have experienced the heartbreak of losing a pregnancy or the death of an infant in the first year of life. This includes miscarriage, stillbirth, interruption of a wanted pregnancy following prenatal or genetic diagnosis, death during birth, and SIDS. We hold support groups for grieving parents after their losses, and also for parents who are pregnant (or trying again) after their loss. Please see our website, www.handsupport.org, for meeting times and locations. Meetings are held in San Mateo, Santa Cruz, and San Francisco.
