I represent people charged with DUI (Driving Under the Influence) and other crimes. Although DUI is usually called «Drunk Driving,» you can be arrested and charged with being under the influence of drugs, too. That includes medications prescribed by your doctor, over-the-counter medicine purchased at the drug store, and, of course street drugs and marijuana.

The California Supreme Court recently approved the decision in one of my cases, Brenner v. DMV, and let it stand as the law of the land. After Brenner, we have a new way to attack and throw out chemical tests.
A DUI arrest is an unfortunate example of a bad thing happening to a good person. Generally, people arrested for DUI are regular folks who find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time, or are trapped by unfair police practices or faulty testing equipment. With the consequences of a DUI arrest and DMV suspension increasing every year, I fight as hard as I can to get the best result for each of my clients.

Mr. Dunn began his career over fifteen years ago prosecuting cases for the LA County District Attorney’s Office. He has been in private practice ever since, and – as his clients will tell you – he fights for his clients with passion and skill.
