Peter Andree, DC

I am a patient who has Parkinson’s. I went to Peter Andree for a stiff neck. I was hesitant to go to a chiropractor because of PD, but his adjustment is gentle and made me feel better. He doesn’t try to crack your bones like what is known about chiropractors.

I came to Dr. Andree with many issues — some on-​going for decades. Most of my issues are gone now (my hips hurt so badly i couldn’t jog) and the only one remaining stems from an injury received 20 years ago (my arm popped out of its socket). Even with this injury I’m seeing marked improvement every week. I’ve been very pleased with his work and I’m hopeful for a pain-​free body in the near future.

Having just moved to Redwood City in May 2011 I was in search of a new chiropractor that understood the Neural Ordering Technique (NOT) and Kinesiology. I was introduced to these two methodologies in the mid 1990’s and contacted a former chiropractor that I was a patient of to ask if he knew anyone in the Redwood City area. I was pleased to learn that Dr Andree is within walking distance of my residence! These two methods are to me truly what all chiropractors should be using. The technique is to work with the body’s flight — fright system to release the hold that may be on the muscles from either current or past injuries. In my case I have experience about 7 whiplashes over the course of my life and there was much that was imprinted in my neck muscles which was also tied to emotional responses. This lead to chronic pain, tightness in my throat to the point of feeling like I was being strangled, and discomfort when sleeping.
Dr Andree has done a marvelous job of working back into those memories and the imprints which were still being held in the muscles. I am happy to report that I’ve had significant improvement in all areas of my neck and throat! When these techniques are applied I’ve experience that the adjustments to my spine and neck will either just fall into place on their own, or that very little manipulation is required by Dr Andree to achieve an adjustment.
When the muscles and the nervous system are first addressed the skeletal system will naturally go back to where it should be. This method is so much better than having adjustments forced against the body, only to have it relapse.
I highly encourage and anyone who has done chiropractic before and felt it wasn’t helping to call Dr Andree.

I can always count on Peter to fix whatever I’ve done to myself whether in martial arts or in my work which often requires a lot of repetitious physical activity thus putting my neck and shoulders out. I can count on getting an appointment right away. The treatments give immediate relief and I leave feeling confident that I’m on the mend. He has helped my best friend a lot with ongoing health problems and chronic pain and that’s why I came to Peter so many years ago and recommend him to friends especially those who are wary of alternative medicine or have never seen a chiropractor before.
