This place really knows their stuff. And a great selection.

I have been coming to this place for a few years.
Never had a bad experience. Roger is the owner and works hard, and could not be nicer.
His help are very pleasant and professional.
They are very consistant with their promises. They have a great selection of all kinds of eyeglasses. Prices are very fair. I highly recommend them.

You know I went here, knowing about their reputation, thinking maybe they were not the greedy greedy people I had heard about. Well, I was warmly greeted, had fun working with the young man, setting up my order. Using my own frames, great.
Then I find my insurance covers for bifocals with the line. I show them some sunglasses I got that have the bifocal made differently and so there is no line showing or minimal line showing. They are wow, this is great! I say yeah! Everybody there wants to see the glasses now. Great thing I brought to them.
Next thing I know they want to charge me extra for this idea I brought to them!!!
What?! You see my insurance, I am not working… I am your guinea pig! You want to charge me for this! You got to have this $ 25.00 even though I tell you that is my grocery money. I am on very limited income.
They held fast to having to have that $ 25.00
The guy told me how sorry he was, the owner I believe, he was smarmy about it.
I told him. Why I don’t believe you? I just don’t believe you. He is shaking and sweaty now. I told them they were greedy… just as I had heard over and over and over again! Confirmed!!!

I had clumsily broken my glasses (one of the hands broke off) and came here in hopes of having them fixed. Guys in the shop were extremely helpful, did it in ~10min. Was charged $ 2.50, but since I didn’t have cash on me, they let me have it for free. Pretty cool!

I’ve been going to Savada-​Adamich for a very long time and I will continue to do so. They have a great selection of glasses, but it is the friendly and helpful staff that seals the deals for me. Over the many years I’ve been a customer, they have done their best, and quite successfully, to repair my broken frames, lost nose pads, and stepped on glasses. They are truly there to help you out and usually it is the staff’s recommendation on glasses that turn out to be the best choice for me.

This place is the best! I took in my own pair of sunglasses to turn them in to glasses, and only took about 30 minutes. I was amazed that they only took 30 minutes and they made them fit great! Their customer service was awesome too. I am definitely coming back for my next pair of glasses here!

Roger from Savada Adamich is a life saver for us.
He is the most professional, patient, kid friendly, and the only one which cared about the best for our son and not how to make as much more money out of us.
We came with our 3 years old, very active boy, after seeing 4 other opticians which recommended very expensive and unsaf glasses for him. Roger introduced us to Mira-​Flex, glasses which are specialized for babies, kids and active. These glasses are the best fit and Roger spent much time making it the best fit for our son.
I later called the other places and ask if they sell them too. They told us they do, but somehow preferred to show us only glasses which cost 5 times more and are not as good.
We came back to Roger several times since then, either when our ophthalmologist changed the prescription — and roger changed it with no additional cost to us — or to check other models of mira-​flex which Roger ordered especially for us to try.
He is very accommodating and makes this whole ordeal a pleasure instead of a nightmare.
We’ll definitely come back to every further glasses with him.

Three bucks and five minutes to replace a screw in a pair of glasses and have them tightened and readjusted. Not bad!
Great local business that’s been around for three decades. The only drawback is parking, like everything else downtown.
