I love the people, the staff, the owners, everyone. I don’t love the food, though I’ve only tried a few things. The desserts are super on point. The cakes, all the pies. I’ve tried them all. Amazing. Superb. Have at them. Indulge. It’s worth it! So worth it.

My wife and I found this place a couple of years back while driving on the blossom trail and driving into Reedley. It was really good. Everything is good here.
A couple of years later my daughter come in and again this place rocks. I can’t think of one thing bad to say. Try everything. It’s all good

The food is okay. I’ve been there more than a few times in hopes that they could finally send out some eggs Benedict done right. The egg was never cooked correctly, either undercooked or overcooked. So I decided to try a skillet and was also greatly disappointed. The man who checks out the customers at the end is also the worst. He is SO rude. He doesn’t care to try and act nicely either. I won’t be returning here anytime soon.

I eat here all the time being that my best friend lives there. Each and every time I eat there the service and food are unbeatable. Small town flavor all over this place. My favorite is the chicken fried steak! My second favorite Is corned beef hash. If you go to Reedley, please stop and have breakfast here. You will thank me for the recommendation.

Came here a couple years ago and it was great!
However today was not so great. The service was okay and when asked for napkins it was tossed to my table. On top of that paid $ 12 for open face lox and cream cheese only to get like 4 pieces of lox on both side. Never again!

This review is for breakfast. I ordered 2 eggs over easy hash browns, sausage and toast. It’s breakfast so it’s hard to screw up that bad but they did manage to serve me some extremely soggy hash browns. The service was very quick but that’s probably because he didn’t cook the hash browns long enough. If i could sum this up with one word it would be «Mehhh»

Extremely poor customer service and they messed up my salmon fillet (ripped the top parts skin off)
One waiter criticized the amount of food I was going to eat. I ordered a salmon meal and pecan pie, and I only ate the pecan pie and a salad and asked for the rest in a box because I had to go, she immediately said I’m to skinny and I should eat the rest, then she asked me if I used to be fat. Yes I used to be fat that’s why I’m not trying to eat 2000 calories in one sitting u idiot !! HOW DARE YOU ASK ME THAT OR CRITICIZE THE AMOUNT OF FOOD I’M EATING .
Oh and she was touching me in a way I didn’t want her to what a creep .
The other waitress was being rude because I was eating alone and I had to go get her after she didn’t Come back .
Food is average but the customer service is insulting (literally)
I left feeling uncomfortable and like I wasted 20 bucks
It has all the worst qualities of a small town café and none of the good ones
the pecan pie was alright, but I wouldn’t recommend going here at all.

Mainstreet café is a great local little café that has a very home-​style atmosphere. You can enjoy breakfast lunch or dinner here and dessert is amazing.
While my wife was pregnant, one of her cravings was for the chocolate pies they sell here. They’re fantastic along with their German chocolate cakes.
When I eat here I normally order biscuits and gravy for a breakfast plate, and switch between French dip and chicken tenders for other meals. All of these dishes are great. The seasoned French fries here are very good as well.
Service here is fantastic! I have so far had no complaints.
Don’t be in too much of a hurry when you eat here. Some people don’t like having a long lunch. You get to enjoy one here. It’s no big deal, just relax a bit and enjoy the great service and food.

This place was pretty disappointing. I know all the reviews are good but our experience was just ok. I got the fried chicken the white meat was dry and the pieces were cut up so I couldn’t tell what I was eating. I swear one looked like a chicken head. There was a beak. Then the kids meals were very small. They both got the Mac and cheese and was the box kind. I can easily make that at home. The the tots that came with was only 6. Really? Tater tots are so freaken cheap I can’t believe they only put 6 on the plate. My husband for the chicken fried steak. That seamed to be the only good dish.

One of the best places for breakfast I have been to in a long time. Home fries are the best. Not overcooked and full of flavor. Potatoes are tender. Pancakes were flavorful and not rubbery as they can get at other places. Eggs cooked as ordered instead of just somewhere close to what you wanted. Haven’t had lunch or dessert yet but the breakfast is good. Might have to up the review after sampling those goods!

We were cruising around agricultural mecca, Reedley and stopped for Sunday lunch at this enjoyable mom & pop restaurant. Imagine our surprise when we found a favorite ethnic food from my German Mennonite roots, verenika (a cottage cheese pocket with creamy onion gravy) & sausage. It was delicious. Service was fantastic and the place was spotless. We truly enjoyed our lunch.

Charged me an extra $ 2 to substitute onion rings for fries ($ 13 for a burger and rings). Seems a bit much considering I only got about 8 rings and my burger wasn’t great. I asked for my burger to be medium rare. What I got was a burger that was beyond well done. And service was slow even though business was really slow. Took forever to get our bill, and only one refill on our drinks.
Even for the small town of Reedley, this was just an OK experience for me.
