History

Established in 1980.

Michael Boss purchased his first tow truck with a loan from his mother and father, Eddie and Mitzie Boss. His first location, 854 S Frankwood in Reedley across from the old Reedley Irrigation building now Kings Canyon Unified School District. Their he had a tow company and automotive shop, serving the community. Since then, Michael sold the automotive shop, moved his tow company to here, 718 I Street Reedley where his business is now ran by his children, Chris and Michelle Boss.

They came out as fast as they could in the crazy heat. We broke down coming down the 180 out of the Kings Canyon National Park. They helped with local mechanic referrals, places to eat and places to stay. They were incredibly friendly and professional! Definitely would recommend them to anyone needing a tow.

1st Unilocal review and definitely worth it. Chris came out and helped me with a flat in Kings Canyon this past weekend. Couldn’t have fixed it without him. Nothing but great things to say about him and the service from the folks at Michael’s. Will have their number on hand whenever I’m in the area from now on.

The tow was good, they got there in a timely manner and took it to the shop I wanted with no problems, BUT a invoice was not left and I have been trying to get one for the past 2 months. I need this invoice to be reimbursed by the insurance company. I talked to the girl in the office who said she would have to find it and could only email it to me. I have yet to receive, tried calling again today and no one answered the phone. No getting the invoice is costing me money.

Chris is the bomb! He is a problem solver and totally saved our family vacation which looked doomed due to car trouble. Instead we had a great time and he solved our car issues. Awesome service in Kings canyon– he knows area and knows the roads and knows how to get things done.

We’ve used Michael’s many times. Every time they have been great. The drivers are very courteous. Like Mark P., we’ve also had them tow us from Kings Canyon NP (twice actually). Once from the gate area and once from a NP service road.
