Visually pleasing Dunkin Donuts — when you walk in, you see a fairly spacious seating area(rare in a lot of places in NY). Clean — didn’t see any garbage on the floor. Well-lit. Great location, close to the train. I can tell it gets a steady flow of business, because people were in and out, there was always someone ordering at the register. I’ve gone there a couple times, spaced apart, and the cashiers were helpful, friendly enough to say«You’re welcome» when I thanked them. But as for their sandwiches — turkey or tuna melt on a bagel, comes out squished, watery, and soggy. Didn’t even feel edible at that point. Their donuts(glazed twists and Christmas frosted rings) were obviously old. They were dry, crusty, and had zero softness when you bit into them. Almost had a bit of a crunch. I definitely think they saved the donuts from the day before. Really disappointing that they do this. How much money can they lose by giving customers a fresh batch?! Not like I am super late at night. It was 12 in the afternoon. Cheap!

This place never gets my order right. I generally wait at least 5 minutes at the counter for someone to even notice or greet me, even if the store is completely empty. The employees take phone calls instead of serving you, and routinely fail to listen to your compete order. They walk away during the middle of it, so it’s usually wrong. The selection isn’t too great either. I prefer the one on Woodhaven, or better yet, the Starbucks that’s going in around the corner.

Terrible! Syrup dripping from my cup, the employee didn’t listen until I finish with my order and also gave me wrong doughnuts. After I ask for something they didn’t had, he tried to put in the beg something else as «replacement», even though I didn’t want it. After the purchase he didn’t give me my receipt and just threw it away. Usually I had an ok experience, but this young kid has no idea what is customer service.

Ugh. I wanted to order a cake for my partner’s birthday this weekend, so I decided to order a cake a week in advance. No problem, right? It’s what they do all the time, right?. I initially went to the Baskin-Robbins on Woodhaven, across from Food Dynasty. The worker that I talked to seemed to be lacking training in cake ordering. He tried to talk me into buying a cake that day, even though the birthday was a week away, didn’t know the sizes or prices or options available, then when we were halfway through the form he insisted that the cake I wanted had an extra eight dollar charge because of the decorations. I had chosen one of their fall cakes with standardized decorations and similar cakes on the menu online did not have that charge(I had checked ahead to see what the prices were like but I went in person to order because I wanted to see the cakes in person). I wound up walking out because I didn’t trust that the extra charge was correct or that my order wouldn’t be messed up. I instead placed an online order at this Baskin-Robbins, and it went easily enough. But then I went to the store to pick it up… it was a nightmare. The worker at the register acted like I was a dirty cake-napper! I walked up to the register and told him I was picking up a cake and the name on the order, and he acted like I was trying to scam him. Any other take-out place would have given me my order, but he needed to see my receipt. I told him I didn’t have a receipt because I had ordered online. He told me to go home and print out my order. I told him I had my NY state ID with me and even the credit card I had ordered the cake with, and he refused to even look at them. Clearly, I was one of those shady cake thieves you’re always hearing about. Instead of treating me with trust and respect since I was a customer who had already bought the damn cake I was asking for, he called over the manager and he grilled me, too. How much was the cake? When did I order it? What kind of cake was it? It took far longer than necessary and that cake can be the best thing I have ever put in my mouth, but I am not ordering from either retail location again. P.S. I ordered chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream for the cake. It even said so on the receipt. Those creeps gave me something that contains peanuts. I only found out upon eating the cake myself. If any of the guests at the party had a nut allergy, they could have gotten severely ill! IFYOUHAVEANYKINDOFFOODALLERGYAVOIDASTHEYJUSTDONOTCARE

This was HELL. The tuna melt made my insides melt. I would literally excreted for hours on the reg. But then again it could have been those spicy tacos from last night. The egg and cheese on an everything bagel I got was tough to eat and tough to pass. They never give enough ketchup, and the coffee was too sweet. PFS(Post food shit) — dangerous and nerve racking.

I like this dunkin donuts because the muffins are very good. But the glazed donuts were a bit dry.

so for those who didn’t know, I reverse commute to work — and thus 95% of my coworkers are people from the suburbs. this means I get to hear them yammer on about the suburbs being«so much better» than living in the big, dangerous city… and that means these two things happen: I think: «wow, you are full of it». I say: «yo, I got 3 Dunkin Donuts in a 5-block radius from my apartment!» [1] …moving on… now, as everyone knows, Dunkin Donuts pretty much makes the best coffee on the planet. I hit this location up more often than the other 2 Rego Park locations, as the coffee and breakfast sandwiches at this spot are slightly better [2]. also, they sell Baskin Robbins ice cream, for a 1 – 2 knockout punch of calorie-laden goodness. a slight downer: the donut selection here is not as good as the other ones, probably due to it being smaller. [1]: I actually do use the word«yo» at work. my coworkers are constantly baffled by the fact that I routinely weave in and out of my Brooklyn accent. I am not sure why I do it either. [2]: also, this particular establishment is on my side of Queens Bully, and thus laziness is a considerable factor.

Well… since I couldn’t find the DD inside the American terminal at LGA. I picked this one… and I have had the pleasure of their coffee as well. The one thing I love about DD is the coffee!!! Every time it is bold and smooth… and taste better than any regular coffee anywhere else! I figure if I have to get up at 5 am to get my butt back to DFW. then I might as well enjoy a little DD’s coffee… it’s very close to heaven! Ps…I have stayed away from the donuts. but I am sure those are just as good as the coffee. Lol

there is a story on this. my sister approached me for investment capital for a thought of putting a dunkin donuts franchise at the same location of this store. anyways, it was a thought but we could have been successful franchise co-owners if we really put our hearts into doing this business. i envy and pity myself for our lost opportunity. this place always get packed with various type of people, no matter what time in the cycle of 24⁄7. as we predicted DD won’t have problems with customers. Why? it’s near the subway, hospital, high school and the boulevard. what i do mind is that this is not the nicest place to get DD: one, they rush you; 2nd, they don’t tell you what’s the deal. this is because they know the store will have its customers no matter what. in fact, when iced coffee was free — they;ll tell you they run out of ice(more expense), and you can buy 6 donuts at half price or you can actually should get 6 in return. they don’t put banners to let you know that. SOWATCHOUT — EVENIFTHELOCATIONISGREAT — find another DD that might give you the DEAL and it will save you $$. 2 stars for poor business practice/rip off. DD store owners don’t pick the deal. Deal is a deal and it should be honored and be the same across the board.

If you are craving for sweets in the middle of the night, or ice cream on a hot summer place, this is the best place to go in the area. They are opened 24⁄7 and the staff are pretty good. I also get my ice cream cake here for birthdays and they are as amazing as ice cream gets(this Dunkin Donuts has an attached Baskin Robins). The Vanilla Bean Coolatta is great when they give me the right one. They gave me a Coffee one this one time, but whatever — it’s all good. Chain pricing, good staff, great sweets, open 24⁄7.

Review of the attached Baskin & Robbins: This is usually not my first choice for ice cream, but it’s the one I go to most often. They’re all over the place, a little too convenient. I grew up on baskin & robbins ice cream, and I’ve been enjoying their smoothies for the longest time. Oreo Cappuccino Blast Smoothie: Uniquely refreshing. On a hot summer day, this really hits the spot. The smooth-grained ice has the slightest texture. It’s the perfect consistency. You don’t need to bite the ice; it just melts as it travels down your throat. That’s a nice little way to chill your body, from the inside out. (author pauses to take a sip) Um, yeah. It’s a great smoothie. Offered in several different flavors: original, mocha, caramel, oreo, etc. Go get one. Stawberry Citrus Smoothie: It’s a fruity & sweet & tarty flavor. Almost like drinking chilled candy. If candy came in the form of a smoothie, this would be it.

I’m a DD lover so whenever I find one, I just have to share! :) This particular location is open 24 hours with a Baskin Robbins as well. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. I watched the staff take verbal beatings nicely from 3 kids whole barked«Almonds!» when handed their ice cream cones and ordered more sugar be put in his iced latte. Store isn’t very large with 3 tables for sitting. No restroom available. Could be more handicapped accessible if the 3 tables for seating were moved.
