the previous owner alex has retired — which is a shame because i was hoping to show him how a repair he did to my backpad had held up so well over the years. now — david, abraham and his wife provide shoe and clothing alterations and repair. the store window was rented to a smart phone and prepaid time card seller. i had two pairs of canvas pants shortened and taken in, and they did an adequate job matching thread color, stitch patterns and measuring correctly. after doing some price comparisons this side street place can be 10-%20% cheaper for this area if you don’t mind the eastern european lack of civility and business acumen. here they’d rather let their work speak for itself.

If your shoes need fixing, this is an excellent shop to visit. Abraham is really good at mending, patching, re-soling and replacing heels. He does a great job.

This shop serves as as shoe repair, watch repair, and a dry cleaning store. My friend brought a suit in the shop, to be dry cleaned 6 weeks ago. When it came back, not cleaned properly, and with a rip in the back, the proprietors wife said that she would send it out again to be cleaned, free of charge Today, my friend went in to pick up his suit, and it was never sent out. The proprietor had the audacity to want to charge him again, to clean the suit. He, initially, paid $ 11.00! I DONOT recommend this shop for dry cleaning. The proprietor is rude, as well.(From 1st hand experience.)
