I love this place. The owner is the sweetest and most attentive and he treats his guests with such friendliness. The almojabanas and buñuelos are the best I have ever had.. hands down and trust me, I have visited many Colombian bakeries. I love their coffees and hot chocolate as well as their empanadas, breakfast steak, croissants and mini bandeja.

Ssoooooo they are small, dirty, and unorganized… I went in there for the empanadas because someone had brought some to a party one time so I wanted to have them … They were great there. however, when I went to the store to buy them they were so greasy and disgusting so much grease so much salt. I also got a few desserts which I believe was over to cake and cheesecake but those were delicious

Sunday of labor day weekend I was driving back from rockaway beach with a friend and we were originally going to grab a slice, but then I remembered I had bookmarked this place! Mmm heard all about the empanadas so we went.
The place itself is very clean and staff was super friendly. Yes, they have a bathroom in the basement once you go down a steep fight of stairs. Not ideal for granny to use.lol.
We ordered relleno de papa and a chicken empanada. I will say I understand this is Colombian. I am half Puerto Rican & Colombian so am aware there will be differences in food, however when it comes to these particular foods I will say I like the Puerto Rican/​Domincan versions better. Relleno de Papa (potato filled ball that is battered and fried) legit had a few shreds of beef throughout the filling and the filling was potato AND rice! Carb overload much? The chicken empanada was delicious and the hot sauce was effin’ awesome! We didn’t eat the whole relleno de papa cause it was way too heavy so we got the beef empanada. Once again there was barely any meat (nothing like the picture another person posted). It was actually seasoned nicely but mamma needs her meat!
I would like to try the pastries everyone mentioned and might try an empanada again. Maybe it was an off day? So I’ll update the review when I go back.

When Rihanna sang the song Diamonds, she must have been referring to this place because Parceros Bakery is a total gem.
Things you MUST TRY:
Almojabana — Within the crunchy and hard shell, you’ll find cheesy fluffy goodness.
Guava Chicharrones — Buttery and flaky puff pastry filled with sweet n’ tangy guava jam shaped in the form of a chicharrón.
Bread Pudding — Moist delicious raisin bread pudding flavored with a hint of cinnamon.
Caramel Pastries — too many to name. TRY ‘EM ALL.

Kevin James (the King Of Queens) was supposed to deliver me a package. It never showed. He said that I should go here to find it. After spending almost an hour arguing in broken Spanish (mine) and amusing Spanglish (theirs) about why they did not have my parcel, I realized that I was at the wrong place. I was supposed to go to the «Parcellost Bakery» instead. So, I did. But before I left, I grabbed some food here (partly as an apology to the owner for taking up so much of his time looking for my Swedish P*nis Pump Package) (oh wait, I’m sorry, I meant my antique trading cards that I bought on E-​Bay). Anyway, I was absolutely shocked at how utterly delicious this food is. Talk about a diamond in the rough! You must get down here, and you must try it.
What to get: Guava Pastry, and the Chorizo w/​Green Salsa and a Salt Potato
What else: The Almojabana is okay but the aforementioned items changed my life
What is a chorizo: Well, I have something similar I can show you, for the sake of comparisons… (pulls down pants)…
I like that there is a lot of counter space between stools. Plenty of elbow room. Plenty of space to park your elbows, as they say. No wonder it’s called «Parkelbows Bakery.»
This is an absolutely amazing Colombian bakery in the heart of residential Queens, in an area which isn’t known for its restaurants and is much less-​frequented than nearby Jackson Heights, or Astoria or Flushing for that matter. But it is so well worth the trip down to Rego Park to sample this gem, because it is some of the best and most authentic Colombian food you’ll ever try. In fact, I am so in love with it, that I’ve saved this review as one of my «final 10 NYC reviews» before I take a Unilocal hiatus. If your tastes are anything like mine, Parceros might change your life. And if not, then at least change your shirt. No I mean, please, change your shirt. You’re smelling a little ripe. It’s summer, it’s humid. Nobody’s judging. Just please. Take care of it. Thx.
Sadly there’s not a lot of money laundering going on here. It’s not a front for any drugs or anything illicit as far as I can tell. I looked for evidence against them (so I could include this damning info in this review) and anything I found was unconvincing. The «illegal escrow accounts» that the Queens Bee reported were a farce. Which is why they renamed the place «Farce Escrows Bakery.»
Seriously though, get the chorizo. It’s utterly incredible. One of the best sausages I’ve ever put in my mouth. Forget the fact that an enormous spicy hunk of chorizo meat that will fill your throat up completely and make you feel bloated on the inside, is under $ 5. Forget the fact that it comes with huge round salty steaming hot sinful… potatoes. Salt potatoes, no less. Just the taste alone makes this one of my fave things to eat in town. I’ve had a lot of chorizos in my day and put a lot of sausages in my mouth and this is one of the very best I’ve ever had. I didn’t think I’d like the salt potatoes and I was right. I didn’t like them. I *loved* them. Wow.
I’ve had good moments wearing Russian clothes, and very bad moments. The highs outweigh the lows. Whereas the lows are usually associated with Parkas. And I wore a Parka on my first trip here. And I hate to admit it, but it was one of those «Parka-​lows.»
And as for the Guava Pastry, well I love Guava anyway, but this little thing is one of the best treats I’ve ever had. I tried some Brazilian and Argentinian baked goods on the same day, and they didn’t compare to this little snack from heaven. So utterly perfect. Crumbly and flaky, but gooey and Guava-​y within. Perfectly browned outside, perfectly pink inside, just the way I like it. Ahem.
There aren’t a lot of cellos in the Rego Park Philharmonic Orchestra. Which is how this bakery got its name. «Sparce-​cellos Bakery.»
So you positively must try their chorizo with salt potato, and you absolutely need a Guava pastry. Parceros. The best Colombian bakery I’ve been to. My fave bakery of any kind in NYC, and perhaps in USA. Get here. Try it. Fall in love like I did. If you don’t, I’ll make out with you, to make it up to you. If you do, well, I’ll make out with you, to celebrate. Sounds like a plan.
And I promise that after we make out, I won’t stop until you, well, you know, get there. Unlike the unfortunate phenomenon that gave rise to the name of this bakery, with me, there will be no «Partial-O’s.»

Only good things about this bakery! Everything is delicious and done right. My favorite place in NYC to eat Colombian baked goods!

I’ve only tried three things from this bakery, the tres leches slice of cake, the arepa de choclo and the beef empanadas. All were delicious. The cakes look amazing. They serve not just Colombian bakery items here, they serve Colombian food also. If I am nearby, I always get a few arepas de choclo, to go. It’s great for breakfast the next day.

The bread pudding is absolutely delicious. The price is okay. I wish they sold larger quantities of the bread pudding. It’s moist and full of raisins. After you try it, it will leave you wanting more. I also purchased their tres leches cake, they have the original as well as a chocolate tres leches cake. I like them both, but the chocolate one is my favorite. Their staff is friendly and very helpful for those who aren’t familiar with their treats. This is a must try if you are in the area.

I am one of those individuals who can live without coffee and realize the pitfalls of caffeine. However, there are times you need a cup of joe and this place makes nice coffee. Besides the employees are nice and professional. Main guy is a class act.

Greeted with a warm and sincere «good morning» in Spanish, I managed a reply in kind.
Only having a moment to stop in, I quickly glanced at the display of the fine baked goods.
Although I do not know each pastry by name, I’ve seen the circular tan muffins, butterfly shaped dessert with the egg washed glistening tops and much more, before.
The chicken and beef empanadas were close to one and a half the size of the empanadas I drive to Jamaica Avenue for. The meats inside have a lightly seasoned taste, the outer crust was crisp. Once bitten into a mild stream of steam was omitted, another plus that I’d not seen with the Jamaica Ave empanadas. A generous side of verde hot sauce set my morning on the right track.
I can’t wait to return for another meal, and I do feel quite thrilled having a Columbian bakery so close to home.

So happy I found this bakery, everything they have is sooo good. The service is awesome; everyone is very friendly. Never a long wait. Definitely my favorite place.

Excelente calentado! Have the calentado with huevos pericos — basically rice and beans with scrambled eggs that are cooked with seasonings and tomatoes with onions! Will not disappoint — best hangover brunch! Also delicious COLOMBIAN staples such as coffee with milk and chocolate caliente :) and amazing buñuelos, arepas de choclo (think hot cornbread or muffins), almojabanas, arepas con queso, pan de yuca… — all around tasty and reasonably priced goodies with a home cooked feel! Comfort food for me and my generation, enjoy!

Great place to get some home style Colombian food! Btw the breakfast is awesome! Also you know the food is good when you have the staff from Pollos Mario eating there lol!!!

Been trying to locate a really good colombian bakery this one by far is the best. The almojabanss were very fresh!!! Will be back to try other things and for dinner.

A very nice Colombian bakery on the edge of Middle Village. The guy who works here is really friendly and you could tell he puts his heart into the business. All the pastries are really good, especially their almojabanas and the dulce de leche-​filled sticks. Also recommend trying the cholados here, they’re delicious :)
After going here a few times I also found out that their pasteles de guayaba y queso are amazing, better than even in Cuban places I’ve been to. Their tres leches is also the second best I’ve had in the city. Good tres leches is hard to make because you need the right proportion of cake to evaporated milk, and this place certainly perfected it. If only I could bake like that!

Soooo happy there is a Colombian bakery close home and the best part is that I love everything they sell there.
The owner is a very nice guy who talks to his clients and makes sure you are well taken care of.
Highly recommend this place!
