my former roommate recommended Dr. Sheinin to me back when we lived in Rego Park — and I have put off getting a check-​up for more than 3 years. but it was time to end that streak, make sure I’m healthy, and get back on track to living a slightly better lifestyle in 2012.
Dr. Sheinin’s office is well within walking distance of my apartment. this is a great thing.
what I really love is that he is open on Saturdays (9 to 1), so I don’t have to take a day off for the express purpose of going to the doctor. for weekday needs, he’s also there on Wednesdays.
takes new patients — another big plus.
Dr. Sheinin is really nice and friendly. he also speaks Russian, if that’s a need for you or your family. hey, this is Rego Park after all!
for those who have medical flex-​spending cards from their jobs, just be aware that payment here is only cash or check (you can just a receipt to get reimbursed).
