They have a large selection of fruits and vegetables and its very affordable. Your fresher and better selection are indoors. I come here for my weekly replenishment of fruits/veggies for my daily green smoothies.

Loaded with stuff after doing my round of shopping, I decided to stop by World Fruit to buy a certain fruit that I didn’t see at the other groceries. The line was long and slow as there were only an older korean lady with glasses at the counter. While paying for my item, she kept touching and looking at my previous water gallon purchase. After giving my change, I was putting it back in my wallet when she decided to scream: «LADYYOUNEEDTOMOVEFASTER’ and grab all my stuff and slammed it down on the counter next to her before yelling«NEXT». Mind you, when I was there, the average customer was in their late 50s-70s– and all of them were way slower than I was. There is a sign outside marketing their customer service. HOWLAUGHABLE. ABSOLUTELYRUDE. I’M NEVERGOINGBACK. Save your money for a place that has more respect for their customers.

I wouldn’t call it your«typical» fruit store. Aside from fruits and vegetables, they have a great selection of dried fruits and snacks. The fruits and veggies outside are the C+ students while the ones inside are the A+ class.

while I usually do my grocery shopping at Met, I have stopped by World Fruit on many instances. their selection of produce is a bit more varied and fresher, and they also have a bit of a wider range of ethnic food. anywhere that I can get Srihacha hot sauce, Russian vegetables, Chinese cooking sauces, Italian tomato paste, Indian curry mix, and beer is always solid.
