Yesteryear’s Old Time Photos

Stopped in with my family after seeing this place while we walked the boardwalk. My lady was really excited to do it, and so we went in to check out the pricing. The ladies that were working the store were very helpful, and so we decided to do a family photo, and a few others.
The whole experience was really cool. It’s not often (by that I mean I have never) I get to play dress up with my family, and do a photo shoot. The associates were very thorough, and made sure that every aspect of the photo looked right, like putting a shoe on any foot that would show in the photo, and making sure that everyone was as comfortable as possible.
They took there time, and made sure that we had the best photos possible. Aftet everything was said and done, my only slight grievance was that for the money we paid for the photos that we purchased (3 in total) that it didn’t come with the digital copy. My guess is that they want you to order all you’re copies through them, but realistically how hard is it to get a reprint of the one I purchased anyways.
Besides that minor detail that whole experience was awesome, and I would definitely come back and do it again. I mean how often does a man get to dress up like in pin stripes, hold a tommy gun, and look like a complete beast with his beautiful family. The smile it brought to my mothers face was worth every penny, and I’m sure we’ll stop back in if when we come back to the area. Great job!

We went with a crowd of people and they were friendly and accomidating. I am was very happy with the final product and the staff gave attention to detail and our kids had a blast.

Was very disappointed at the way we were treated here … They have about a 16yr old kid running the store and I was unclear of the pricing because he did not explain it properly and at cash out I was told he was going to call the cops on me for stealing while I was in front of my 3 children because I was not satisfied with the extra pictures I picked out … Very poor customer service and very over priced … $ 75 for a family of 5 and u receive two of the same picture … Who needs two of the same exact picture??? Never again but I guess u live and u learn.

Wonderful experience! I picked a time frame that wasn’t as common as some of the others, but Ann was super super knowledgeable and knew the costumes and props so well. She was able to dress me, my husband, and my doggie, and filled the photo with tons of appropriate props. Definitely make this a stop on your vaca. Insider’s tip: try for right when they open or weekdays to increase the changes of not having a wait. Browse the website or lobby photos beforehand to get an idea what you want. You have to buy the first print, but digital copies are only $ 10 after that. Also, buy the frames! They are cheaper than Michael’s, beautiful, and authentic (the materials come from old barns out west!) Keep up the great work Yesteryear!!!

if only they are willing to rent the costume out for me to parade up and down the boardwalk :(
