Golden Griddle Pancakes & Cafe

Oh my goodness! I was a big fan when this location was IHOP and so I wasn’t worried about going to it as Golden Griddle until I read the reviews here on Unilocal!Well — let me tell you the people who didn’t say good things obviously went somewhere different from where we went. It was DELICIOUS!!! Better than when it was IHOP. Many of the menu items were the same — and I was relieved to see the Swedish Crepes still on the menu. However, tonight I had Chicken and Waffles — as did two others in my party. The remaining two people had different variations on the egg specials. ALL of us had delicious food — very well prepared and served quickly — hot and fresh. The place was very clean — but it was empty except for us. Maybe 6pm on a Saturday isn’t a hot time for pancakes for dinner — and I guess I was glad — but I was very sorry they weren’t packed. I hope they do well and stick around for a long time to come!

You can put lipstick on a pig… But it’s still a pig … Not worth the money. Cold food, slow service …

Formerly iHop. Had the chicken fried steak and now I want to uh… regurgitate. I predict it will close and the sooner the better. Apparently the owners chose not to renew their iHop franchise. Right now the sign out front should say SPACE AVAILABLE.

Horrible! I had HAIR in my food! Disguising! Looks like a halfway house! Employees look like drug addicts!

Really it is no stars. Better food in military. No really.
Brought the family and discovered the restaurant was no longer IHOP. We expected the food to be comparable to IHOP. Sadly disappointed My omelette was brownish and very greasy. The hash Browns were Yuck. I tasted perhaps everything cooked on the grill earlier. Our waffles were mushy. The only one who made out was my daughter who had grilled cheese and fries which you can’t mess up. I asked what happened. the employee mentioned the franchise agreement ended. IHOP no longer wanted to be in the area. I don’t recommend eating here, the place is overpriced and the food really bad. Go to IHOP, not a «wanna be» IHOP. Or join the Army if you don’t believe me.

What can I say my family refused to go there due to the name change, but we tried it and it couldn’t be better «Real Eggs», service was nice we were fully full after our meals. Definitely going back

For the first visit to the former I-​HOP, the restaurant was nice and clean, average décor and friendly staff. The chicken and waffles were pretty good, cooked just right, not a long wait and customer service was great! We’ll definitely try it again in the future.
