History

Established in 2012.

In November of 2012, Chad and Melissa Janowicz bought Crittenden-​Hansen Funeral Home from Larry Hansen who had invested nearly 45 years into the business. The two couldn’t have been more excited to begin their new venture together in the wonderful town of Remus.

Business Owner

Melissa was born and raised in Oscoda, MI where she graduated from Oscoda High School. After graduation she began taking classes at Delta College before moving on to the Mortuary Science Program at Wayne State University. In 2011 Melissa graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mortuary Science.
