1270 AM The Buzz KBZZ

This radio station was always hit or miss, but lately, they’ve just quit trying. Constant reruns of shows. And since it’s talk radio where they discuss current topics, that’s rather stupid.
The segues to commercials are awful. It’s as if the producer is taking a nap in the other room. They often play the transitional music loop for ten full minutes, then snap back into the already-​back-​on program.
The website also has ONE show listed on the weekends. A gardening show that lasts from 9 AM to 10 PM. That isn’t a typo. 13 hours of gardening. That’s an especially big F-​U to me since I can’t keep a plant alive to save my life, and the show just makes it sound easy…
I seriously wish Reno had better news/​talk radio offerings. I put it on as background noise when I am working on my condo (so I’m not really paying attention most of the time), but the fact that I already know the punchline to a joke (having heard it for the fifth time now) is just terrible.
This station is caught in a downward spiral, and unless they get new content soon, I can’t see them sticking around too much longer.
I would listen to AM 780 KKOH, but that’s way too far-​right-​leaning for my taste.
