It’s loud. They fill my wine glass to the rim. The pizza is kinda inconsistent. I love the ranch and the honey sides. It’s within walking distance of my office. Lots of babies. Cool arcade games. Not a great place to visit if you wear hearing aids. I don’t, but if I did I would be sad being here.

Old, fun, dark, dive-y Wolf Pack bar with solid pizza. We usually get the meat lovers pizza and hot wings and its always good.

Really like this place. Great pizza, great beer prices, and live the ambiance. Typical family pizza joint with the picnic tables, etc. Serving sides of honey to dip the delicious crust in is like a dessert at the end. Pizza is a bit on the pricey side, but they make up for it on the price of a pitcher.

Did I mention I am addicted to pizza! I saw this place close to home and they have good reviews so decided to give it a try. If you go online they have a coupon you can print out for $ 5 off. PRINTITOUT. We ordered fries and a large Hawaiian pizza in the middle of a snow storm — so it wasn’t too busy. By the time I drove from Harrahs to the restaurant it was almost ready so that’s a plus. The pizza was really really good — the meat had a great smokey flavor and the pizza wasn’t too soft or too crunchy. Will return — oh wait I have already!

Sooooo… It could have been an off day, it could have been me, but I wasn’t too impressed. Service was good, pizza was well…3/5 I’d try again, I had the baja and what sounded outstanding in theory ended up being mainly lack luster.

Pizza was good enough that I would do take out in the future. Dining in wasn’t the best experience. All of the girls that were working were super friendly however the guy that took our order seemed completely uninterested in helping us whatsoever. No greeting just a blank stare. Super awkward. There was also very limited seating. They have a back room with tables but everyone of them had dirty dishes on them so we ended up sitting at a pub table crammed in the middle of the room. So I won’t be taking the family to dine in anytime soon, however if I were a college kid this would be my first stop after a night out partying!

Hella cool local Pizzeria and sports bar for Generation Y !! A hip and fun restaurant concept, design and operational strategies appeal to YOUNG and adult people who eat out, drink alcohol outside the home and enjoy casual full-service. The décor really tells you the honest truth about this place — creative, clever, open-minded, so full of energy and fairly priced. A lot of cool posters and pics from the 70s, 80s, and 90s are all over the celling and walls. It was super fun to watch the pizza guy showing off his amazing pizza dough tossing and spinning skills through the little window. The warm dough, spicy sauce and oozing melted cheese were very tasty! — too greasy for me. We waited about 30 minutes to hear our call on the speaker. The choice of beers is amazing and the music is awesome. Definitely worth a try!

So tonight while at my parents house my dad looks at me and says«Taylor, I have a groupon for JJ’s, interested in going?» Am I ever one to turn down free food? No. Am I going? Abso-freaking-lutely. The parking lot is a little awkward, if there’s no spots you have to back up onto the street which at times can be busy. We got in and quickly ordered a 16″ JJ’s special pizza and three beers and grabbed a table. On a busy night like tonight some tables took awhile to be attended to and cleaned up so we grabbed the first table we could find. I’ve been here before when it was impossible to get seating inside. It happens! We waited about 20 minutes, watching the basketball game so we were enjoying ourselves, and we heard the glorious loud speaker say«Ed, your order is ready» huzzah! The pizza was hot and delicious. I mean seriously, seriously good. I loved all the toppings and didn’t even want to dip it in ranch so I could enjoy the full flavorful glory that was this pizza. You’ll find me in here again, maybe next time not during one of their rushes though!

JJ’s gets good reviews for Pizza on Unilocal!so my picky pizza lover son of mine decided to give it a try. Our visit was about 3 pm on a Friday afternoon. It was easy to get a spot to park at this time, as well as a place to sit as it was almost empty. We ordered our meat lovers large pizza at the counter and found a place to sit in the back. The place is a dive, so much of the seating is picnic table. We got one of the few tables with chairs. Service was friendly but wait for the pizza seemed long. When the pizza finally did arrive it did not disappoint. It was hot and the toppings were generous. The crust is very good and they provide ranch and honey as dipping sauces. My picky pizza lover son loved it. Some great pizza choices in Reno, and while this was for us not the best pizza in town, it certainly rates a return visit sometime in the future. Recommend without reservation, if you don’t mind dives

Apparently a Reno institution. Been around forever. Located in a non-descript concrete building on 5th Street… right next to Don’s Pharmacy. First time I went, I wasn’t that impressed with the pizza. But didn’t hate it, so went back again with someone else and the pizza was very good. Like many gourmet restaurants, it all depends on who’s in the kitchen. A bit on the pub“ish” style, long dark bar with TVs in the front room, picnic tables in the back room. Decorated with old posters, colorful tins, etc. So, yes, OK to bring the kids to the back room(although there are a few tables in the bar area as well). Reasonably priced… yes I’d come again.

I’ve been coming here for years. It definitely isn’t the dive it used to be which bums me out a little. The pizza is great and I love the option for honey or ranch. Parking can definitely be tight but they do have a lot. Always a good experience however I could’ve done without the girl telling me that putting olives on my pizza made her want to puke last time I was there.

I want pizza! If you like pizza JJ’s is one of a few pizza places that make good pizza! I love the feel of this place when I walk in. It has games to play and picture/posters on the walls. When looking at some of those pictures, it shows some of our local schools and events. It shows that the place defiantly supports our town! When eating at JJ’s, I order a large pizza and wings. When sitting in the back we can see the workers making our pizza, which is kind of refreshing to see how our food is made. Like I said the pizza is awesome. But as for their wings I have had better. Don’t get me wrong they do taste good just not as crispy as I would like them. The only downfall is when going to JJ’s pizza is most of the time there is rarely anywhere to sit. People just stand around waiting for tables to clear just so they can get a table. As for the staff, every single time I go there they are always nice. Not only that they try to stay on top of cleaning the tables for other people to sit.

The goods– Tasty food of the pizza joint variety. Good pizzas, like their sauce. Nice atmosphere. Easy going, laid back, sports playing all the time but not in a Buffalo Wild Wings kind of way. The staff is a bunch of college kids(I assume) and they are a pretty good bunch. Had a couple of times where the slacker attitude was in full effect, but I can forgive a 20 something for being a shit head sometimes. The bad– For you. This stuff is horrible for you. That’s why I like it but damn the grease! Holy damn hell it can be GREASY sometimes worse than others. The ugly– Nothing really.

Looked for a pizza joint and on the way decided we wanted wings, but we’d also heard this place was good for wings sooooooo… Win. It was a Sunday night, late, and there was nowhere to park when we got here, but luckily someone was leaving so we were able to park in the lot. When we got inside it was absolutely packed and SO loud. Normally I hate this and also I had a bad headache, but we were new in town at the time and really wanted to try the wings. It looks freakin’ awesome in there, though. There were families with kids running around and playing arcade games, younger people there to watch games on the big televisions, older couples having wine at the bar/counter. TIPS — You can choose a table but go up to order. They call your name when it’s ready and it’s sometimes hard to hear/understand them over the mic, so be listening. We went up and ordered 12 wings apiece. They have mild, medium, hot and nitro. I love spicy food but just wanted a little tang so I got mild and dad got hot. We waited a LONG time for our food, but we weren’t upset bc there was a lot going on in the place and we were watching a game on TV. It was packed and busy, and you have to expect that. The fact that they get good reviews despite this says a lot about their food. The wings were a decent size. Once again I can put away some food, especially wings, but I couldn’t finish my last few. Dad had the hot and he said they were definitely hot! I had the mild and I wouldn’t even call them spicy. They were tasty, just not really any heat to them. Honestly I think they were slightly sweet. The first bite I took, I was like… «Are these BBQ?» They didn’t really taste like it but at that first taste they were almost sweet. Not really my thing but hey they were still awesome. I would get medium next time probably. I will definitely be going back to JJ’s. It seems like an awesome place to go with friends for drinks and pizza. I really want to try their pizza because it looks absolutely amazing.

JJ’s is a Reno staple. It’s not gourmet or California cuisiney pizza. It’s just darn good traditional pizza made with a really great dough. They, being a Reno place, serve it with copious amounts of ranch. They also have that really good root beer that comes in a bottle that goes so perfectly with pizza. It’s a great place to meet friends or catch a football game. It’s always busy but somehow there are tables free. It’s more on the family friendly side than I prefer but I’ll put up with the loud rugrats for a pizza fix from here.

JJ’s is the best pizza in Reno. They have really stepped up their service. Went in on a Monday night with my $ 8 off coupon(wow!) and the staff was really nice. We stayed a little past closing and they were really friendly about it, which is how you know a restaurant cares about their service. Just wanna give a huge thank you to the crew that served us last night, you guys are awesome!!! They should give all of you a raise! :)

Have you ever been to a place where the food is so awesome you literally can’t stop eating it and in return the whole rest of your evening is devoted to your moaning and groaning of how full you are and how you should not have eaten sooooo much food? Well JJ’s Pie Co. is definitely one of those places! The pizza is super fresh and baked to perfection. JJ’s is also the first place I learned about dipping your crust in honey and then in ranch. Which by the way is so incredible! I happened to learn something new about JJ’s this evening as well… they brew their own tea and it is GREAT! My husband and I could not help but to drink it down and get refills. Since they brew their tea, they keep it behind the counter in a refrigerator. To me it felt like we figured out one of JJ’s best kept secrets. Did you know that you can even reserve the back room for private parties??? UMMMAWESOME! Also, JJ’s is great for social hours(maybe getting some brews and pizza) as well as bringing the family! My boys love the picnic tables that are used inside instead of tables and think it is so fun! Keep up the great work JJ’s!

Worth the wait if it’s a busy night! Haven’t been there lately but I’d go there in a moment! The food is great and they have good beers on tap. A University favorite along with us locals. We never feel out of place here. We just leave full of beer and excellent pizzas!
