Keva Juice

I would like to give this location 1 star for two reasons, NO PRICES POSTED and only 1 CASHIER when there’s a hefty line.
There were plenty of employees working, and the lady at the register had no sense of urgency, so I waited and waited, waited some more to get my order in. I order and I have no idea what price my drink is until I am told. This is 1 star experience for sure.
Also, there’s a 2^nd register, that was never opened. This is like going to a bank during peek time and seeing 1 teller, it’s ridiculous.
My smoothie was very good, but very pricey. $ 9.30 for a smoothie isn’t cheap, and I have no idea, what price it was supposed to be, since there’s no PRICES listed, WTF?

I have been going to Keva Juice for 10 years now and I can honestly say this location is disappointing and needs some serious work to improve. First off, they do not have prices up and have not had them up going on at least a year. This is wrong. Customers have a right to know the price of what they are purchasing without having to ask.
Second, their prices are higher than any other location. When asked why, it was said that rent went up so they had to up the prices. They are ridiculously expensive now and the consumer should not have to pay more here than what every other Keva Juice location offers. It’s not right, which is probably why their prices aren’t listed.
Third, they not longer have the probiotic yogurt machine, yet still offer the smoothies that have it as a listed ingredient. When I ordered one, the cashier did not disclose they didn’t have it anymore. When I mentioned the machine wasn’t there (which it hasn’t been for months) and asked what is used to replace it, she said nonfat yogurt and had an attitude about it. Nonfat yogurt is not only completely different, but tastes different as well. That is false advertising and that is not okay.
A few of the workers have attitudes and need help with improving their customer service. The girl with red hair needs definite help and always has a very rude and condescending smirk.
There are a couple other issues I could mention, but I think the point has come across. The only reason I have given two stars and not one is because the female owner is nice and does work hard. I hope something is done about all these issues or I fear for the future success of this Keva Juice!

I work at Meadowood Mall and frequent this Keva. The staff is WONDERFUL. They are polite, quick, and remember our order since we’re always returning to here. My husband and I won’t even go to another Keva. If you are in Meadowood Mall, make sure you stop by. Sierriah and Zach always take the best care of us. Thanks Keva for being wonderful!!!

Worst smoothies ever. They were completely watered down it tasted like lightly flavored water. Also the girls working there were very rude and made unnecessarily rude comments to us.

Today around 3:15 I went to Keva juice and ordered a Keva Monster. I watched her pour «sugar free» monster into the blender.
I can distinctly taste sugar free product and to me it’s disgusting. So I went and told her. She scoffed and went to the monster fridge to see that there was no regular monster. Then she asked her coworker to get monsters from the back.
But the girl still gave me the original drink I told her to fix. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and took the drink thinking she may have given me the correct one. NOT!
So I approached the cashier and told her I wanted my money back. She said she’d go get the manager. The manger who came up front was the same girl who made my smoothie!
She had curly brunette hair with a nose ring. She didn’t even try to win back my business or suggest she make a new drink. Worst customer service especially since you are the manager! Sucks, that there is only one location for keva juice.

Keva Juice… really not sure what to say but I felt kinda ripped off when I ordered a smoothie that contains, Monster. The cashier put in a hint of Monster in it, also when asked for a plastic cup instead of the Styrofoam cups, the cashier would question the request.

Background — Missed breakfast and needed something to help me go.
Atmosphere — Best part of this location in the mall is that it is not part of the food court. It is a little quitter and less hub bub going on. I do not understand why they have two kids clearly under the age of 10 in the service area /​kitchen. I know school is out for the holidays but this not acceptable.
Food
My Drink — I ordered a medium Strawberry Lust. I was really good. I had one large frozen strawberry at the bottom when finishing up. Only one, I have to say it was blended really well.
Service — This is a very specialized business and the menu is simple. How does it not have prices for each drink size by category? I get that they have a lot of add ons to the drinks but at least have the base price. As for the physical service/​customer service it was like they just rolled out of bed and I was disturbing their rest.
Future — Maybe.

Bad location, I normally love keva. We came on a Thursday and they were obviously under staffed. 10 people in line waiting for their smoothie with one girl working the register AND making the smoothies… Get it together management!
Our smoothies were given to us wrongly made of course because the poor girl was slammed and rushing. Disappointed this is the closest keva to us and we won’t be returning.

I’ve been reading a lot about the wait time– of course there is because its ALWAYS busy. Anyways– my drinks are great. I like the staff. its always clean. they are always smiling and always a joy to me when I am there. I even ordered the wrong drink one time and tasted it and they were all so kind to me and remade my drink even though it was my error. I would return to this place, as i do every time I am at the mall. I suggest you try it yourself! The place is great… sometimes there is a wait– but who doesn’t have a wait inside a mall?

So disappointed! We came from out of state and two days ago decided to check out the mall and get a quick drink. When we arrived there was one women already waiting for her drink and only one girl working. She was the one who had two «BB» tattooed on her neck. When we arrived it felt like i was an annoying her instantly for daring to order our drinks. After my drink was ordered it was straight to the wait line for me. There was no «it’ll be just a moment.» «it’ll be this amount of time for your drink to be done.» or even a «thank you for coming.» Whatever.
So i wait and wait and wait. She isnt making a single drink. There is a guy behind the counter with her but he is repairing their yogurt machine. So its just her. More people arrive she continues to ring people up. The women with her child and i look at each other like «wtf is going on here really?» Her kid starts to get anxious and bored so she asks «BB» if her drink will be ready soon she just gives her a quick loud «YA!»
REALLY?!
9 people rang up and waiting before she starts making all these drinks at the same time. While she is making our drinks the phone rings and she has like three blenders going. She lets this person talk and talk on the phone and then says in a really annoyed voice «what?! i cant hear you!?» maybe its because your the only person this establishment has working and your over whelmed with three blenders going and having to answer the phone while i continue to wait for 15 minutes for a drink that wasnt really that good. 15 minutes i waited. It was actually more but after five or so minutes i started a timer app on my phone. 15! no wonder she was rude she was overwhelmed. why isnt there anyone else working here to back her up! This place is a real joke! Avoid it like the plague just go to starbucks or get a soda. Bad service, terrible wait lines, ruder overwhelmed employees, for a product that wasnt that good.

I had a pomegranate passion smoothie from Keva Juice today. It was delicious! They were out of acai, or I would have gotten the acai allure smoothie, which is my favorite, other than the bananarama. I will definitely buy keva juice again!

The smoothie was good but always a long line. Also I think almost $ 5 for some OJ, peaches and frozen yogurt is a bit much. Staff was friendly but really doesn’t make up for the high price.

I LOVE this place! They have the best smoothies and great healthier options, I LOVE the burning man with wheatgrass! And now they have frozen yogurt YUM!!! They have great customer services! The owners always remember what your drink is that really adds to the service! And I always need a ragin bull first thing in the morning!!! I also love the new gluten free cookies!!!

This store is tucked away a little further than other food kiosks, right next to Mens Macy’s and across from See’s candy.
This store has seriously more items than I’ve ever seen at a juice bar. They have all fruit smoothies, shakes, Italian soda’s and they have a number of smoothies with Monster or Redbull. Additionally, they have seasonal drinks too, some of the best being near the holidays (Pumpkin, candycane etc.) They offer fresh squeezed orange juice and carrot juice, as well as wheat grass. Food-​wise, they offer high protein/​high probiotic frozen yogurt; the flavors rotate weekly (you can get this in a smoothie instead of sherbet); gluten free/​vegan cookies; natural chips; protein bars and stuffed pretzels. If you want a heartier, rounded meal smoothie, you can add a number of things like whey protein, granola, chia seeds, wheat grass or acai.
Many of the smoothies are supposed to be meal replacements, though you can get plenty of low calorie options, my favorite actually being a redbull blend, Bullseye. Seriously, try it, it’s not cloyingly sweet like many smoothies made with energy drinks. I’m a pretty needy customer, but they seem to have a lot of health tips and suggestions, and are very familiar with their ingredients. If you don’t see something on the menu, they will make you a custom smoothie, and won’t charge you a ridiculous price for substitution like Jamba Juice or Juice zone does. They have SOY yogurt in case you are lactose intolerant, and they have a lot of vegan friendly items.
One big positive about this place is that they use /​no/​syrups, and all of their juices are low sugar. There’s a reason why Jamba Juice Corporate has designed high counters, the first being to hide all the crap you don’t expect at a healthy alternative to fast food. –The syrups they have back there aren’t for Italian soda, like at Keva: it’s because literally half of Jamba Juice’s smoothies are ice and the very little amount of fruit that goes into them just isn’t enough flavor, so they amp it up with concentrated syrups.– Not so with Keva juice. For one, all their counters are very low, and you can see they keep all the stainless steal very clean, their fruit and juices are in plain view. Secondly they have a wash station which employees routinely stop by. Thirdly, if you say you have a food allergy, like me, they will WASH all the instruments beforehand. This place is probably more sanitary than a surgeons station, FO SHO.
The service is usually quick, though, when it get’s busy it prolly takes about 5 minutes, but it’s never really bothered me.
The only thing that annoys me is when people stand at the area where the blenders are when there’s a sign over the area that says «Pick up here» and there’s an obvious line at the other side, and then they try to cut in line. Um, derp? I mean, the place is set up like all the other drink places in the mall: you wait in a line while looking at the menu, then order, then move in a linear fashion along the counter to get the item when it’s done. I dunno, maybe I’m just really familiar with kiosks etiquette or something.
Overall, my experience here is always outstanding, especially considering how customized I always want my drink. I don’t notice much of a price difference between other places, but I’ve really only had smoothies from a couple places in town. This is the only place where it doesn’t taste like ice and sugar syrup; where it tastes like a smoothie you’d make at home.

I work in the mall where this Keva Juice is located and the employee’s and owner are always really friendly, they. always make me smile I’m glad they are a part of my daily experience at the mall and think customers who’ve been disappointed in the past should give the new staff and management a chance. I’ve been juice fasting for sometime now and stumped by how I would juice at work, and wha~la, Keva Juice. The owner/​manager Zach is very accommodating and very willing to go the extra mile for a potential customer. I LOVE THIS PLACE!
Plus, I think they are thinking of adding celery/​cucumber to their juicing options, AWESOME!

I was walking through the mall and decided to stop and get a smoothie. I waited and waited and waited. No one came. One employee even walked up to the counter to count tip money and didn’t even acknowledge my presence. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I love Keva… But the service here is never very good. My drink last night was watered down and I don’t think they put the Red Bull in it… But I wasn’t about to ask them to remake it since the girl looked inconvenienced for ordering in the first place. The one by Mae Anne is the best one!

MORE EXPENSIVE THAN JAMBA?! what a copy cat

Honestly this place is nothing to complain about and the flavors are definitely better than Jamba Juice. There are some locations in California but none around the Bay Area region which is disappointing.
However, here’s the disclaimer. Yes it tastes better, but it tastes better for a reason! The reason being, of course, that it is much less healthy than Jamba Juice and don’t quite have any freshly squeezed juices so you know it’s from the fruit and not from concentrate in a huge tank. Overall great place to get a great tasting smoothie if you don’t care about how much badness you’re intaking into your body!
