Going into the salon I was incredibly nervous! I hardly ever get my hair done but Anna was incredible. She is such a sweetheart and down to earth. She made me feel at ease and helped me to achieve what I actually wanted. My hair has never felt so amazing. Anna has helped my confidence so much. I will be back anytime I need something done to my hair.

The atmosphere has a great vibe and décor that just makes you want to smile and take a deep relaxing breathe. Anna greeted me with a hug, and offered me a beverage. Her knowledge of curly hair is unbelievable. She taught me stuff I never knew about curly hair and I’m an old dog! .
She gave me the best cut I have ever had.

Loni is amazing! She really understands curly hair and the products, methods and ingredients that work best with it. I haven’t flat ironed my hair in almost a year because I love it’s natural curly state so much! I wish I could have her in my back pocket for every party, picture and wedding I go to!

First of all the salon is so cute and comfortable. I loved the look on the inside and out. Second of all, Anna one of the curly hair specialists made me feel so welcomed. She treated me and my hair so well! I walked out of the salon so happy, pleased and loving my hair again. She showed me how to work with my hair, and she even took the time to cut my hair dry! If anyone knows about cutting hair, especially curly hair you cannot cut it wet or else it will shrink up and be shorter than it should be. This is the first salon I’ve been to where someone cut the hair dry and i received such amazing results. I could go on about how amazing this place is, but I had a wonderful experience. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Loni did wonders on my hair ! Not only did she do exactly what I wanted, she talked me through the process of my balayage. I loved the fact that she educated me on my hair. She didn’t sell me on any products (which I would happily but regardless as they’re truly are amazing) but made sure I knew what was in store for me after our appt. I’ve always trusted Loni on my hair as she has been doing my hair for years now.

After many years of short hair, I have been letting it grow out. I went in to see Anna with a frizz mop and came out with CURLS. She is really friendly and totally educated me on the care of my curly head of hair. As a guy that shuns using products, she made it really easy to keep it looking good. I’ll be back.

Gather ’round kids and let me tell you a little story. I have been to MANY stylists in Reno over the past 14 years. One after another they failed me; either they didn’t know how to work with my naturally wavy/​slightly curly hair; or they didn’t know about color; or they had no idea how to cut my wavy hair so it didn’t shrink up and causing me to skip trims for months as it grew out; or they were unreliable (sometimes they were good and sometimes they weren’t — one person left their salon and never had the courtesy to let their clients know!); and one person was a total jerk and simply didn’t care at all if I continued on as a client or not.
I truly felt like I would never find the perfect match for me and my hair.
Enter Anna. I can’t even tell you how over-​the-​moon excited I am to have found her. Anna was actually referred to me by another stylist who didn’t have the time for me! I say, the Universe knows what it’s doing. I can’t imagine letting anyone else touch my hair ever again.
Not only is Anna an EXPERT colorist. Not only is she an EXPERT stylist. And not only does she take the time to help you care for your curls. But she is just about the sweetest person I have ever met. And her head massages! Oy! Amazing.
Anna has been taking care of my locks for about 6 months now. I wanted to wait to write this review because of my experiences in the past. I just figured that «magical» time would come that I would be let down again and I would never want to mislead anyone. But I’ve been 100% satisfied with Anna’s service from the start so it’s time for me to share it with all of you. I’m completely and totally convinced that she is THE BEST STYLIST IN RENO. Hands down. Especially if you’re a curly headed beauty. :) xo!

Anna is absolutely amazing! I’ve been struggling with my curls my entire life but her curly hair crash course taught me so much about managing them. I also haven’t had a hair cut in forever (I was terrified) but I’m in love with my new layers. I’m definitely recommending Anna to everyone, curly or straight hair!

I visited midtown curls salon for my haircut and was pleasantly surprised from the immediate greeting to my fabulous haircut. My hairstylist, Anna, was amazing. While I was explaining her what look I was going for, she played with my hair and then gave me exactly what I wanted. Anna is not only a professional hair stylist, she is also a sweet heart. You will enjoy her company and your fabulous haircut. I recommend Anna to everyone who has curly or wavy hair.

Anna was amazing. Several years ago I swore to never have my hair cut again after making the mistake of going to a hair dresser who knew nothing about curly hair. Of course my hair became too long and heavy for me and I knew it was time to find a pro.
I found my pro at Pearle Studios. She listened to what I wanted and then told me what would and wouldn’t work with my face. It took FOREVER, but it was well worth it. She sculpted my rat’s nest hair into an adorable bob. My hair turned out way better than I even imagined.
With my appointment I got offered free drinks, a massage, a scent therapy and nice chatter. Most importantly, she gave me a complete walk through of how to style my hair on a day-​to-​day basis (I’ve been following it, and let me tell you, she has the key to healthy curly hair! It’s possible!). She gave me a sheet with instructions and a little gift on the way out.
By far the best experience I’ve had at any salon ever. It felt like a day at a spa. I came out relaxed and looking sharp.

Anna is fantastic! From the moment I walked into the Pearle Salon, I knew I was in the right place. I was greeted warmly and offered a glass of wine (and then another). The atmosphere in the salon is lively and comfortable. When I sat in the chair, Anna listened to what I wanted, made an assessment of my hair and knew just what I needed. I’m not a hairdresser. When I go to a salon, I want my stylist to listen to what I have to say, then give me suggestions for styles that fit my needs. Anna did just that. She gave me the perfect cut, then taught me how to care for my curly hair correctly.
I had heard of the Deva method for curly hair care before, but hadn’t been able to execute it very well. My hair was not in great shape! Anna walked me through the steps and the products, using a big hand mirror to show me what I needed to do and then making me do it myself (I’m a teacher, so I understand the need to do something so you can learn how to do it yourself). Along the way, I was treated to wonderful scents and relaxing massages. Anna made sure I knew what to do and what to use to give my curly mop the respect it deserves! I’ve been in salons where stylists seem to want you to walk out the door having made numerous extra purchases. I never felt that pressure. I actually walked away with a very nice free gift and a sweet hug!
If you have curly hair, you NEED to go to someone who knows how to teach you to care for it and how to cut it. Anna is extremely knowledgeable, creative, compassionate, and skilled. I will never go to anyone else.

Anna has been doing my hair for a while now, she is the only one that I trust that’s going to make my hair look beautiful! The color line she uses makes my hair soft and has an awesome shine to it that lasts for weeks! I love her and I’m pleased with how healthy my hair is and how quickly it’s been growing! If you’re looking for a new stylist Anna is the girl to go to!

Anna is extremely talented! Not only does she do the best curls but her cut and colors are to die for! After Anna did my hair I was 100% satisfied and I have never been 100% satisfied with my hair the first day. Anna is also the sweetest girl I know. She will take great care of you. I highly recommend her :)
