Quik Stop

This is the first Quik Stop I fell in love with. It’s hard to imagine falling in love with a gas station, but Quik Stop seems to be a little more than a gas station. I mean, I leave feeling ok giving these guys astronomical amounts of money for fuel to run my vehicle. That just seems wrong.
Sure, this Quik Stop has all the same characteristics of any other gas station, like pumps, gas, diesel, air and water hoses, a carwash, and a convenience store, but it just feels like so much more than that. Maybe it’s the bright lights overhead that illuminate the space in the early morning or late evening, maybe it’s the incredibly clean concrete throughout the complex, the easy entry from Rock Blvd or McCarran, or maybe it’s the well maintained convenience store and friendly employees, I can’t really say what it is for sure, but there’s just something about this one that always leaves me feeling happy.
I know one thing that definitely earned this Quik Stop a place in my hear, they always stock Spitz brand, Salt and Pepper Flavored Sunflower Seeds. There was a time in my life when I couldn’t be in the car without some, and this was the place I could always get my fix.
Hmmm. Writing this review has me missing the place a bit. Might have to get a fill up on the way home now. :)

Whenever I’m making my way south from Sparks into Reno I stop at Quick because well, it’s quick. It’s convenient, clean and has inexpensive gas for my stupid gas guzzler of an SUV. This is one of the few gas stations I don’t mind going inside of. It has a nice snack selection and a clean bathroom for my potty training 2-​year-​old (parents are quite aware of the cleanest bathrooms, you can’t slack on this) and really friendly staff. Seriously, what else could you ask for from a gas station?

I can see why this place has four stars. It is my go-​to gas station, not only because it is close to my house, but because the gas is cheaper than a lot of places. On top of that, they have good customer service, a very friendly staff, a plethora of fountain drinks (with add-​in flavors) and the store is kept clean. What is not to like? This Quik Stop is very well-​ran.

Inexpensive gas combined with clean bathrooms makes this gas station worthy of 4 stars

It’s a Quik Stop. What can I say? They have a good selection of sodas on fountain. Diet Dr. Pepper!!! Anyway they also have good coffee in the mornings as well. It’s a very clean and well ran place. Plus there is always some sort of special that actually APPLIES to the general public.
The only downside is the streets in front make getting in and out a bit of a pain. But that is only during the busiest hours.
