Seraphine’s Bistro

I got a recommendation from a nurse and local foodie to check this place out while staying at the hospital, and thank goodness I did! Their smoothies were such a welcome relief from hospital food (which saints had pretty good hospital food… but still)
I sent my poor hubby (or anyone that stopped by) down 2 – 3 times a day for a strawberry smoothie! HEAVEN! I still crave those smoothies, and if I’m in that part of town, I stop in for one! You can get it with or without ice cream… both are totally different, both are totally amazing! My hubby was loving the coffee drinks as well, but I can’t say from personal experience. If you are stuck in the hospital, and are craving something different, check this place out! And if you are searching for a smoothie… drop what you are doing, And go here!

Since I feel like I practically live at St. Mary’s lately, I have been to the coffee shop quite a few times. The most notable item is the SMOOTHIES!!! They are always amazing. Don’t plan on a bunch of fresh fruit in them– these aren’t Jamba-​style smoothies or anything, but they are delicious. In fact any of those frozen drinks using whatever blendy machine they have are great. I tried some Oreo and espresso frozen thing recently and it was great too. Beyond that, the hot drinks are usually just fine as well. The food they have is whatever they made in the cafeteria that day, as well as some pizzas, fair soup, hot dogs, good but super rich desserts, and a smattering of snacky foods. At least they are open all night, minus an hour here or there when the one staff person goes to the kitchen to prepare fresh pizzas, etc.
